I had a norton scammer get my grandmother for $125, I had the charge reserved and they started calling and harssing her. Demanding she pay for their services. She's been cautious ever since.

Yes, almost 10 minutes in, she was still believing what they said. Also bricks don't fall out of a freaking chimney, chimneys will survive when the whole house collapses. My great grandmother's whole house burned to the ground, it was 100+ years old, the only thing still standing was the chimney and fireplace.

I live in S. Georgia where we had the hurricane storms come through in late September. There were trees down everywhere and the scammers were out. I was in my yard and this dude from Texas pulls up and says he'll cut two trees down and give me a good price. I told him your a storm chaser I know how it works. It assured me he wasn't . Said he would cut them down for $3,500 a piece and give me a break for $6,000 for 2. I asked did he have a card. He handed it to me and I looked at him I was in my workshop and threw it in the trash and said, "here one last person you can scam, bye" I got a price for $2,500 for both by a licensed guy insured and every said he has done them a great job.

This is similar to a scam situation with gas companies - where they come around and sell you on cheaper gas to heat your home. When I wanted to get my money back, I called the company and it sounded like a boiler room of sales people trying to sell a gimmick. Defendant looked pretty bad.
