I took a look at your website and i see that you,ve helped a lot of patients, if i didn,t live at the other side of the world i would book a consultation. I practised muscle testing myself for a long time and came out at especially vitamine B6 , and also B12 . I don,t know if you read your you tube comments nowadays but if you are willing to suggest and know what vitamines for the chronic auto immune disease Myasthenia Gravis are beneficial i would be very greatful. I also struggle with chronic depression and anxiety. Thank you for reading and your in depth video

So sad that you’re not mentioning toxicity of B6 since it is considered harmless and in so many vitamin supplements in excessive doses. Why aren’t you talking about B6 Neuropathy. I developed Brachial Radial Pruitis from excessive B6, a severe radiation itch that ruined my life until I was able to figure this out.
Yeah, suggesting people take 100mg of B6/day for 30 days, when the RDA is 1.3mg and it's a known neurotoxin is irresponsible. He only briefly addressed it at the very end, as a footnote, and he downplayed the issue. You can do a lot more than "A little bit of damage to your nerves" with B6.

I have noticed an increase in dreaming since I started taking 50 mg of B6. I also wanted to highlight something Dr. Jin mentioned at the end of the video - the form of vitamin B6 is crucial. It's recommended to take P5P, not Pyridoxine HCl, as the latter may potentially cause long-term and serious damage to peripheral nerves. Opt for the P5P form to ensure safety
I just read a study on a reason why vitamin b6 in Pyridoxine form may cause problems at toxic levels, problems that seem very similar to b6 deficiency (the neuropathy etc). It is claimed that this is because the inactive form pyridoxine competitively inhibits the active pyridoxal-5'-phosphate (p5p). So that is apparently why you get issues with Pyridoxine HCL supplements, the supplements aren't letting your body use the actual form of b6 it needs. (It's interesting to note that I just saw a comment on another video about how Pyridoxine HCL helped them with their "b6 deficiency" and P5P gave them anxiety, I'm thinking the person actually had too much b6 maybe?) In the 70s med students were experimenting with taking high doses of B6. Since B6 is good for brain function, these fellows started taking enormous amounts. 2000 mg to 5000 mg/ a day. That's where the fear for B6 comes from. When these students stopped, symptoms went away and they were back 'normal'. So 2000mg and up is way to high. However 100 mg, 200 mg, 300 mg / a day is fine. IMO, thiamine is the most forgotten of them all and B6 (too much) can induce a thiamine deficiencybecause they are antagonist to one another. Excess B6 symptoms almost line up exactly with B1 deficiency symptoms. B6 IMO, should be used in moderation (less than 50mg and balance that with more B1 so you don't have problems). The P5P form is the most effective and safest, it is the "active" form that does not require conversion by the liver. Regarding "classic" B6 (Pyridoxine) there is a negative reputation that has been exaggerated. Many of the people who have had problems with it have made the mistake of taking vitamin B6 alone (without the other B vitamins) and/or in large, prolonged doses. *No B vitamin should be taken individually without the others otherwise sooner or later there will be imbalances and problems* In addition to what was written above, B6 neuropathies could also be caused by poor quality supplements with non-pharmaceutical grade purity (I fear this may be frequent..) When there are problems with B6 (Pyridoxine) there is often a problematic liver involved, those with a damaged or inefficient liver cannot convert the classic B6 into the active P5P form, the vitamin B6 that remains *unconverted* is the one that can give problems to the organism and cause neuropathies. Those with liver problems should strictly avoid Pyridoxine and only use the P5P form. If you take significant doses of B6, it is better to split the tablets and take them at two separate times of the day at least 8 hours apart. Vitamin B6 is good, but they don't want us to take it, which is why it is talked about badly and in Europe it has been severely limited in dosages. I currently take 30 mg per day of B6 - 10 mg as Pyridoxine in my B Complex, another 20 mg in P5P form (split into two intakes) Since I switched from 10 mg to 30 mg I feel better in every way.
To what is written above I would add that due to the junk food we eat these days people currently have a worse liver than a few decades ago.. In addition to poor quality Pyridoxine supplements, a fatty or inefficient liver could also explain the numerous reports of adverse events even with small doses of Pyridoxine (in the past this happened very, very rarely)
I’ve been suffering from depression since I lost my optic nerve vision at age of 47! I’m left with prefer! I had 2 A/fib! I have blockage of my arteries! I take thyroid and migraine meds for years! I heard vitamin b6 is great for our circulation? I hope that’s true??
Taking sublingual Vit B12 has brought back my dream recall! It's because B12 make melatonin. Sleep much improved also! Taking B6 didn't help me with that.
I started to sleep way better after I decided to bypass my digestion and take B12 and some other vitamins in oral spray form, its an absolute life changer indeed. Oral taken B12 no matter its form never really had any effect on me and I didnt want to go for injections as they arent as good as they want you to believe and for me not very convenient to drive twice a week an hour to get those injections as they didnt allow to inject it yourseelf. And my doctor first ordered me to try it this way. To see if I am unable to absorb B12 at all I would get the injections if I wasnt. But this works fine. :) I now also take iron and vit D this way.
I assume 10 mg of b6 in my b complex plus 5 mg in my magnesium is ok it won’t cause bad effects.. regardless of diet intake.. some people had bad effects from as low as 25-30 mg from Supplement .
I've started with the B6. I think it's helping with my issues. But I was wanting to do the Dr Huberman EPA/DHA recommended levels however can't find the right amount without using fish or krill oil. I'm mostly vegan so oh well. One of those issues with being vegan is I think lacking the occasional nutritional advantage
I've been taking 150 mg of p5p for awhile now and still do not remember my dreams. Anyone take higher p5p amount? Does mercury toxicity cause b6/p5p depletion?
Dr Sung, I probably damaged some nerves after helping them first. How could I reverse the damage from excess of b6? Of course, I stopped using all be vitamins for some time.
You can try any type of stimulus over the area of damage. Such has vibration, light touch, pin prick, heat and cold. Just be cautious not to injure yourself since the nerve damage maybe desensitized to heat or pin prick.
Thank you for this information!!I do a b50, vitamin for all my B!is this enough,to make a difference..I have post herpetic neuropathy, and have just learned about alpha lipoic, which is helping immensely..

Now im wondering, can it help with 8-year patellar tendonosis pain? Its been almost 5 months of B6 and ive yet to notice amid rehabbing and bone broth's pain reduction effect; would P5P be effective for it? Diet high on B6 probably? Or mthfr gene mutation. Or deficiency in other B vitamines. It can be caused by a lot but the first is most likely. If you indulged on a meal of chicken and fries the day before bloodtesting, it sure will be high.
Another doctor on UA-cam said not to take the hcl version of b6 Just to take the pyridoxal phosphate version Is that correct? I bought a vitamin b6 supplement here that has pyridoxal hydrochloride Is that ok to take?
The long term recommended dose is no more than 50mg since long term 500mg can be toxic with a 10:1 safety margin. But, it should always be the P5P form and even that can be toxic in some cases if deficient in selenium and other minerals and magnesium and riboflavin are needed to convert back to non-toxic form. GABA is needed to prevent toxicity because inactive B6 stops GABA in nerves. 100mg of P5P for 30 days should be fine.
@@shiamakhangout4136 You welcome. it is actually 100mg for the upper tolerable limit in America I meant to say. 1/5th of the known toxic for the inactive form. High serum B12 is not a bad thing. That's just circulating in the blood not doing much. Active B12 test will give you a better reading. But none of them are accurate. GP s are not educated in B12. Treat the patient not the numbers
I use Country Life Coenzyme B-Complex, it has the P5P plus the correct B9 Folate NOT folic acid and the correct B12 Methylcobalamin NOT cyanidecobalamin
100mg of B6 for 30 days would leave most people with B6 toxicity and given that the symptoms of deficiency are the same as toxicity, many people up the dose thinking that they need more! It can take a long time for some people to get rid of the neuropathy that excess amounts of this vitamin causes, and some people never recover.
It would have been well worth covering the dangers and risks of B6 toxicity from the many supplements being sold at stupidly high levels like 500mg. I inadvertently caused neurological damage that manifested in severe pain in my feet that has taken 18mths to heal. For many not so lucky, the damage is irreversible. So everybody be careful, don't take too much B6 additionally.
@@tahirahmed33 That's a sensible dosage. Just be careful with B6, it's important but can also build up in the body over time. Thankfully I've fully reversed the nerve damage a year on but it's taken a long time. Luckily I caught it early and worked out the cause.

I'm half blooded Hawaiian/ other half German!
Born & raises in Hawaii @ 73 years old, I'm blessed to still live in my homeland & remain healthy & active & not on any pharmaceutical drug's for my age.
Wasn't always, until I made seriously life style changes 26 years ago.
I eat , drink healthy, exercise 3-5 times weekly. Take organic supplements I think I need at my age, vitamin Bcomplex is one of them 😊as recommended by my naturalpathic doctor.
I see my PCP every 2 years for physical, because my medical insurance recommends it, & it stops them from bugging me 😆
🤔😊 my PCP always complements me on my health & tells me to keep doing what I do.
I have read tons of books for Information on alternatives health. Watched streams of health channels, listening to all the experts , you name it!
I am impressed at you & the explanation on supplements, the numbers on
lab report especially.
how you break Information down to your listeners as myself, that is easy to understand.
Thank you so much ! I have subscribed to your channel & have shared it immediately with my family.
God bless you & your practice!
Thanks for watching. Appreciate the comments.
can a lack of b6 cause libido issues, i had one time a nero test done and all markers were low except glutamate.... so high glutamate low dopa, gaba, seretonin
There is only 10mg of b6 (piridoxine) in my b complex. Right now I feel depressed with no energy. I wonder if a higher dose will make me feel better.
My doctor is freaking out because my b6 is 28.1ng/ml. Told me stop taking my B complex. Is she right??
If a person eats plenty of high quality protein (omega eggs, fish, chicken) do they need to worry about not getting enough B vitamins?
Thank you so much for your explanation 😊
Que vitaminas es bueno para una persona con gastritis i hígado hepático , gracias i saludos de Perú lima city
I am taking pyridoxine HCI... Is this the bad one?
Awesome info...especially about the dreams 🤯
The P5P form is the most effective and safest, it is the "active" form that does not require conversion by the liver.
Regarding "classic" B6 (Pyridoxine) there is a negative reputation that has been exaggerated.
Many of the people who have had problems with it have made the mistake of taking vitamin B6 alone (without the other B vitamins) and/or in large, prolonged doses.
*No B vitamin should be taken individually without the others otherwise sooner or later there will be imbalances and problems*
In addition to what was written above, B6 neuropathies could also be caused by poor quality supplements with non-pharmaceutical grade purity (I fear this may be frequent..)
When there are problems with B6 (Pyridoxine) there is often a problematic liver involved, those with a damaged or inefficient liver cannot convert the classic B6 into the active P5P form, the vitamin B6 that remains *unconverted* is the one that can give problems to the organism and cause neuropathies.
I currently take 30 mg per day of B6 - 10 mg as Pyridoxine in my B Complex, another 20 mg in P5P form (split into two intakes)
Since I switched from 10 mg to 30 mg I feel better in every way.
The sound quality could be better in a bit louder.
Another doctor told me it was a b vitamin deficiency when we remember dreams. Lol yikes
Lol wow
I’ve been suffering from depression since I lost my optic nerve vision at age of 47! I’m left with prefer! I had 2 A/fib! I have blockage of my arteries! I take thyroid and migraine meds for years! I heard vitamin b6 is great for our circulation? I hope that’s true??
Taking sublingual Vit B12 has brought back my dream recall! It's because B12 make melatonin. Sleep much improved also! Taking B6 didn't help me with that.
Did you take the p5p form of b6?
I had back pain started taking b complex and Vit D and k2 and the simptoms went away, any guess??
These are excellent! Thank you, subscribed.
I assume 10 mg of b6 in my b complex plus 5 mg in my magnesium is ok it won’t cause bad effects.. regardless of diet intake.. some people had bad effects from as low as 25-30 mg from
Supplement .
I'm seeing that recommended daily dose is 1.7 milligrams, but the bottle says 100mg. I can't find any b6 in the recommended dose.
There is an active form of p5p and some do not mention “active. Is there really a difference?
I've started with the B6. I think it's helping with my issues. But I was wanting to do the Dr Huberman EPA/DHA recommended levels however can't find the right amount without using fish or krill oil. I'm mostly vegan so oh well. One of those issues with being vegan is I think lacking the occasional nutritional advantage
Make sure you get your B vitamin levels checked so you don't go over. #VerySerious
Use flaxseed oil
@@AlbaLynxQueen wow just looking it up I'm reading you can easily get or exceed your DHA/EPA. That's awesome thanks!
There are plenty of vegan EPA/DHA supplements available as well. No idea where you live though but big brands like Swanson and Now have them.
So good. Thank you🙏
There's actually also a lab test where you test for bioactive vitamin b6
I took p5p once and I had anxiety for 3 days but the dosage of b6 was 1951% of the daily recommendations
Take half the capsule
Plus you should get your b6 levels checked out to see if you have that defiency
How many mg did you take?
@@tlet4769
I think 35 mg
I've been taking 150 mg of p5p for awhile now and still do not remember my dreams. Anyone take higher p5p amount? Does mercury toxicity cause b6/p5p depletion?
Dr Sung, I probably damaged some nerves after helping them first. How could I reverse the damage from excess of b6? Of course, I stopped using all be vitamins for some time.
You can try any type of stimulus over the area of damage. Such has vibration, light touch, pin prick, heat and cold. Just be cautious not to injure yourself since the nerve damage maybe desensitized to heat or pin prick.
Can we sulbutiamine and pyridoxal 5-phosphate together ?
Thank you for this information!!I do a b50, vitamin for all my B!is this enough,to make a difference..I have post herpetic neuropathy, and have just learned about alpha lipoic, which is helping immensely..
Is taking high dosages of B6 toxic .... Is 10mg or less better and safer ?
Take P5P for safety.
@@DrJinSung next time I'll buy p5p b6
Can I take more than 10mg p5p b6
B6 (pyridoxine HCL), 200 mg for 4 months, eliminated joint pain in my hands and lower spine, eliminated all pain from bi-lateral ITB syndrome of hip and knee, eliminated muscle tear pain, and mostly reduced new de quervain tenosynovitis pain. Now im wondering, can it help with 8-year patellar tendonosis pain? Its been almost 5 months of B6 and ive yet to notice amid rehabbing and bone broth's pain reduction effect; would P5P be effective for it?
When i stopped pyridoxine, i developed mild restless limb syndrome (and found out why), so now I take P5P form hoping to see greater improvements.
update?
@@Pulga232 P5P form of B6 has undone restless leg issues, but i haven't stopped taking this form, so I don't know if the RLS would return or not if discontinue. All the pain mentioned remains low or non-existent.
@@Pulga232 new update: i have been off the P5P form of b6 for about 3 days as of today. no more restless limb syndrome.
Is there a combination of all three ( B 12,B 6 and B) all active forms of them in one tablet?
Thorne basic B-complex are all active. You could also add 100mg of P5P from another brand like Nutricost or Pure for 30 days and then back down to around 50mg P5P. Take 100mg every other day if you want.
Doctors know nothing about Vitamins/minerals and deficiencies of minerals
"Doctors". Allopathy is a joke. Some exceptions
You are great doctor.
Thank you! Giving it a try.
I have been taking 25 mg of P5P for a while now since standard B6 felt toxic to me. Now I have more dreaming...or at least more memory of my dreams and I do feel I'm getting a deeper more restful sleep,- and that is I huge health plus for very little money for an over the counter vitamin....the P5P version of B6....
No side effects?
@@Medinalegend not aware of any... But I now only take (2) 25mg per week. Any more seems to not be better... Be careful of too much p5p.

P5p have toxicity?
@@Medinalegend Because I had toxicity issues with standard B6 I switched to p5p which bypasses liver. I have not had toxicity issues with p5p but it seems "powerful" to me.. hard to describe... lots of energy, etc.. just go low dose at first...I do not think p5p in moderation is a problem for majority of people

Wut happened with b6 hcl ? U got toxicity? How much u was taking? How long ?
Wow Fissured tongue is what sparked my concern . My young has become dry , weird feeling once going keto and full of cracks now
My vitamin B6 just came back VERY high and I take zero vitamins or supplements. What on earth is causing this?
Diet high on B6 probably? Or mthfr gene mutation. Or deficiency in other B vitamines. It can be caused by a lot but the first is most likely. If you indulged on a meal of chicken and fries the day before bloodtesting, it sure will be high.
Does the P-5-P version get destroyed with stomach acid? Is there any specific brand?
Search Seeking Health B Complex Plus on my online store. This is Ben Lynch's formulation.
Which Eurooean brand of supplements can you recommend to buy in Europe….a US brand would incur tax to import and other beuracratic procedures.
If you find out please let me know. If I ship supplements they often get stuck in customs so I stopped shipping.
God Bless You
Another doctor on UA-cam said not to take the hcl version of b6
Just to take the pyridoxal phosphate version
Is that correct? I bought a vitamin b6 supplement here that has pyridoxal hydrochloride
Is that ok to take?
Thank you.❤
For how long can u take B6 for ?? Like a month everyday or like every alternate day as I don’t want to overload
@@MrApplewine thank u so much
@@shiamakhangout4136 You welcome. it is actually 100mg for the upper tolerable limit in America I meant to say. 1/5th of the known toxic for the inactive form. In Europe the upper limit was 25mg now is 12mg, but this is all based on the inactive form, which you should never take anyway. Other minerals are iodine, heme iron, calcium, zinc.
I got toxic from my prenatal vitamins which contains 10 mg of b6 i took for my entire pregnancy and now am suffering form it's toxicity mainly peripheral neuropathy
10 mg toxicity ??? Hahah...be sure its not the cause of your simptoms.
IS B3 SAFE AT HIGH DOSE ?
Start 50 mg thrice ....gradually increase upto 2000 mg a day

Thank you! The wealth of information you offer is amazing and very much appreciated🙂
I have been taking a B-complex,
but was recently told my b12 is too high....🙄
I am continually trying to to figure out what vitamin deficiencies I may have at any given time so I can manage multiple symptoms-
it's hard to monitor everything and still feel ' in the dark' without results or frequent blood testing🙏
High serum B12 is not a bad thing. That's just circulating in the blood not doing much. Active B12 test will give you a better reading. But none of them are accurate. GP s are not educated in B12.
Treat the patient not the numbers
Good to know. Thank you
Thanks for watching Nick.

Dno if I wanna pay that much lol
I like non fortified nutritional yeast, it has a ton of natural B6
What brand do you buy?
100mg of B6 for 30 days would leave most people with B6 toxicity and given that the symptoms of deficiency are the same as toxicity, many people up the dose thinking that they need more! It can take a long time for some people to get rid of the neuropathy that excess amounts of this vitamin causes, and some people never recover.
Utilize PYRIDOXAL-5-PHOSPHATE (P5P) instead.
When is best time of day to take this?
Morning
Bravo
Very informative, educational. Just sound quality is bad. Too much echo,
Thanks for watching. Working on the audio for next video.
Can a low GGT also mean there might be a B6 deficiency?
It would have been well worth covering the dangers and risks of B6 toxicity from the many supplements being sold at stupidly high levels like 500mg. I inadvertently caused neurological damage that manifested in severe pain in my feet that has taken 18mths to heal. For many not so lucky, the damage is irreversible. So everybody be careful, don't take too much B6 additionally.
Yes. That is why I recommend P5P
You take the toxic B6 not the P5P.
I just bought a 10mg B6
@@tahirahmed33 That's a sensible dosage. Just be careful with B6, it's important but can also build up in the body over time. Thankfully I've fully reversed the nerve damage a year on but it's taken a long time. Luckily I caught it early and worked out the cause.
