Man, I love this. The caves in twilight princess were so cool and this is the natural evolution of that
In Ocarina of Time some entire dungeons were caves.
And before that, Zelda 2, 3, and 4 had caves.

I expected a really cheesy advertisment, but was surprised with a decent and fun introduction to a game I was not sure about. Now I'm convinced this is really a new and expansive world worth exploring! Thanks people!

I haven’t watched many of the treehouse streams but they almost all seem to be like this, just nice people playing and explaining the game. They never really ham it up or anything

@@thefattesthagrid many werent fans of botw for the dungeons, bosses, and enemy variety. plus the world feels pretty empty when every secret's a shrine, mediocre weapon, or korok seed of which there are 900
This game is incredible. The environments, the sounds and just from what I've played today - just absolutely very well done. Everything expected and more.
Is the world more lively than the first one?
@@thelegacyofgaming2928 in my opinion yes, there are many more NPCs in the world, and the side quests and adventures make me feel much more involved and makes Hyrule feel more alive :)

I feel like playing TOTK first will completely ruin your enjoyment of BOTW, because it seems to just be BOTW but bigger, better and more realized. But idk

if anyone’s wondering where this is on the map , it’s a side quest that starts in the bunker of the first outpost type area . There’s a hole and u just keep going down

You can also explore it from the opposite direction, starting at Hyrule Castle (the part that wasn’t lifted into the air), though if you make it to the end, you’ll have to ascend your way up if the hole isn’t there yet.

I remember watching this 3 weeks ago along with the other treehouse for TotK and I was so hyped. I have the game and over 3 weeks later I'm still absolutely loving it Best game of the 2020's so far. Easily my favorite since 2017 (guess what was my previous favorite?) and now my all time favorite game. Been playing Nintendo for nearly like 30 years now maybe longer. Tears of the Kingdom delivers. These treehouses and all the advertisements UNDERSOLD the game. I'm still finding so much and not many games ever reach this peak. It's one of the greats of all time.

The scenery and music are especially great.
I hope many people will play this game.

I'm currently searching caves for the Bubbelfrogs to get enough of their gems to get Koltins armors. I only need enough for two more armors which is the Lynel Mask and the Sartori mask.

After how Nintendo superpowered Samus in the Metroid franchise, I wondered if they did that to up her fighting profile in SuperSmash Bros. Now it looks as though Ninentendo has ensured Link has got that same overpowered treatment. Having 'ascend' as the fall beneath the platforms' will make his character a game changer (potentially).

These are cool but the underground of ER is a lot more unique than this

I’ve loved Zelda forever, but this is just not my cup of tea. I know peeps love the whole build everything and item lore. But personally, it’s a headache to me. I’m just here to maybe find something to love again, but I want the environment to be my puzzle and challenge. Not my backpack. As well as massive environmental and map effects due to the choices made. Like, can no longer return to, moments. I’m sure it’s there but it’s not as enticing to me in this series.
Will have a blast grinding for dozens of hours to get the same amount of health and stamina I had at the end of the first game. This is essentially same game w/ surface level differences, a few new territories, the exact same player progression system, and a laggy weapon selection menu to boot. Biggest disappointment all time for vgs imo.

Err.... When I was playing Twilight Princess and Skyward sword in the late 2000s, there were already .... Caves , in particular, Goron mines and the lower part of Ancient Cistern were quite enjoyable

Last LOZ in open-world style? I don't see them moving away from that. Expect the next 5 games to be BOTW style in structure.
Much like OOT was seminal and influenced the skeleton of later Zeldas up until Skyward Sword, so will BOTW influence future games.

Totk took a great direction, actually mixing classic Zelda with what Botw archieved.
