I grew up in Florida during the 1970’s. It was much nicer back then and had amazing beaches and forests that have been destroyed by fast food chains, condos, and strip malls. Clearwater beach used to actually have super clear water. Almost as clear as the Keys used to have. The coral reefs are bleached too. There are just way to many people and it’s way hotter than it used to be. We moved to TN and love it.

No idea why UA-cam recommended this to me, but hi from Sand Mountain.
Tornados? The most hit place in the world is around Henager Alabama, averaging one a year. It's believed to be because of the angle wind hits the mountain. Every tornado that has hit Chattanooga, touched down their first an made it's way to Chattanooga. So the warning time was around an hour.

Tennessee is ripe for more growth. Florida only got white sandy beaches to offer other than that it looks depressing. I'm from California move to Tennessee one of my favorites low property tax no state taxes low insurance cost lots of jobs not to many natural disasters. Sport franchises, soon to get in n out burgers. If you want to go to the beach your only 6 hours away

we are already over populated and do NOT need more people moving here! if anyone does move here (the infrastructure is not built for this large a population already) just remember you're a refugee not a missionary... leave the views that ruined your state behind.

Nashville metro area is a little over 2m I live here , crime is pretty high as well we have on average 100 homicides a year with a list of other high level crimes , we do have nice areas though and get to see some snow a few times every winter ❄️. Florida is beautiful in its own way but I can’t deal with any more heat then what we have here lol

Chattanooga is far too urban for me. Live in a tiny Florida town near the Georgia border about halfway between Jacksonville and Tallahassee.

We moved from Dunedin to the Crossville / Cookeville area. It’s up on the Cumberland plateau so it’s cooler during the summer. We sold our house in Florida for around $300K and bought a three bedroom, two bath, brand new home with 2 acres up here for half that. Our electric bill in the summer is maybe $125 a month. Our water is less than $75 a month.
There are deer, beavers, skunks, and all kinds of critters everywhere. Just come up here for a weekend and check it out. That’s what we did. On the way back my girlfriend looked at me and said “so when are we putting the house up for sale?”
The housing prices have gone up a bunch since we moved up here in 2019 but there are still good deals to be had. Lots of nice homes up in Kentucky too.

3:24 Miami sucks but Naples FL is heavily, that's just my opinion. Also if you love a tropical feel or the beaches ⛱️ I agree insurance is high in Florida but you can't sell here and buy a better house in TN infact FL construction standards are much higher than in TN. Central FL is safer than the coast also more affordable. I love both states but my mother won't leave FL she's stuck in her ways this is paradise for retirement I guess 😂

apparently you're not familiar with the large number of copperheads, woodland rattlers and black bears we have in TN as well as the occasional panther (yes they are here).

It might be the wisest choice to move away from the coastlines... There are supposed government whistleblowers saying that the government is aware of an event in 2024 that involves the coast and people should get away from the coasts by 100 miles. I don't know what's happening, but something in the oceans is going to cause a disturbance.
