@@ZoomerUnion Wait, let me be nerdy for a sec- it's leather, technically. But i get what you are saying. Doesn't excuse the boys just stripping parts of their armor mid battle, however.
Latest was in the Bad Batch. During the scene with Wolffe and Rex talking, pretty sure one of the clones is just a floating helmet behind Wolffe. Bro turned into a ghost, or it was just John Cena wearing a clone helmet. Edit: my dumb ass didn’t watch the whole video through and assumed they didn’t have that recent of an example. @@lightningleopard Poor Cody seems to be a victim of animation errors as well. Good thing he doesn't wear a kama, because he would probably very often not. If you know what i mean.
My favorite is Commander Bly’s waaay back in season 1 when Anakin rescues Secura. They’re running through the ship cutting through battle droids and you just watch as Bly’s range finder goes up, and down, and up, and down, and then *disappear* … then reappear before going down once again in span of like 6 seconds. It’s really funny when you notice it
One thing is that Tarkin should actually be taller than the Clones, but in BB they're significantly taller than him instead. The Shock Troopers were more like Death Troopers with their height.

Although I don't work in animation, having worked on a few decently sized projects before, I am not entirely surprised that some of these occur. Between various cuts, time crunches, and different animation groups, some times the wrong texture is applied, or it isn't fully applied. These sorts of errors do end up happening in cinema, and it takes a lot of effort to prevent them. Often times you end up with some in the final cut, and you just have to hope its quick enough to not be noticed. Or that its small enough to be ignored.
There's also an inconsistency in the citadel arc. One of the reprogrammed droids gets destroyed but later on we see there are still 3 remaining droids which shouldn't be the case because there were only 3 in the first place.
Its interesting, not a big deal to me as most of them you don't even notice until seeing a video or post about it and even still it's usually only a minor detail. Still one of the best animations, series and art style ever!
if u want anohter in season 1 eqisode 10 in the walker fight scenes where they are stunning a bunch of clone comming around the corner there a clone with white gloves
In the s1 ryloth ep with Obi-Wan's troops when they are taking on the outer city droid defenses, either waxer or boil's helmet changes to a p1 white plain when they attempt to throw droid poppers into the gun emplacements
Look closer on some of the fights in space for example when Clone Wars started there is fight between big ships and one disappears behind window with floating smoke XD
Yeah, TCW has a lot of continuity issues with its animation. I think the worst offender is the battle onboard the Negotiator in the episode "Bound For Rescue." I'm pretty sure literally every cut has a continuity error of some kind.
Not only these ones, but I remember in that one episode of TCW where C-3PO and R2 go on a misadventure in a Y-wing after their mission with Wolffe, there was a clone who was in a shooting position, but his blaster was _above_ his arms. And speaking of Wolffe and blasters, in one of his appearances in the TBB two-parter he was in, there's a point where Wolffe's pistol legit just disappears (5:26 in the second episode) - look at his right hand. He draws one of his pistols and then after the troopers run by him, it just vanishes. It actually happened at least once earlier, come to think of it, but I don't remember when. While I'm an animator, I haven't worked in a big studio or done any 3D animation, so I don't know the process, but there shouldn't be these kinds of errors if you have a consistent character rig. Clones shouldn't just lose and regain their markings, their weapons shouldn't be glitched above them or just straight-up disappear, etc., and I don't know what causes that.
YES YES!! Finally someone mentiones Wolffe's blaster. Me always looking * way * to closely at him noticed first time watching and it burned into my memory.
@@StarWarDoes yeah you can see it there but in the episode “the general” there is an error where most of the 501st troops are missing blue paint on the face of the helmet, despite have their normal markings on the rest of the armour. the a funny error where one the kameonan clones visor goes through a person infront of him ( Shakti I think) It was in one of the episode where they try to trackdown fives
0:12 - 0:28 I find it weird how that even happens, because aren't they using finished models for the characters? It's like they used one clone model in the first frames and then switched mid scene and switched back, couldn't they just use the one and same model and asset in a whole scene? It makes no sense to me
there is a lot of flak against animators but not only the mistakes are way harder to spot, but a lot of the time there is no time to fix them even after being spotted, im sure at least half of these were known but coudlnt be fixed on time

Well with Ventress being a Force User, she likely didn't let go until AFTER her kiss. So that one's hard to say it is an error if you consider the Force
There’s a clone in the episode where the wolf pack goes to help the people after the earth quakes and you can see a phase one clone on the ship and later they are all phase 2 the pilot in that same episode was also phase 1 when phase 2 pilots were already in the show
That's a consistency error not an animation error. It's also possible that not every clone immediately got phase 2 armour so this could just be before phase 2 was completely rolled out.
They are lazy af, in the first few seasons? fine, but with the amount of resources, experience and assets they have now, it's simply not acceptable. Pure laziness.
