I'd love to attach this to my Sonos setup so i can have great listening but also the super convenience for around the house listening. Hi, if you were trying to fit this turntable into the narrowest possible space (width, not depth), how narrow could you go? I’m looking for a turntable to fit inside a 13.25-inch (around 33.5 cm). can this table be rotated in such a way to fit that space?
Just a question about the cartridge. Did you buy a new cartridge with the blue. As the cartridge for the red and blue are exactly the same. You just need to buy the new stylus. Just picking up on the fact that you mentioned setting up the blue in the video.
Your right I did not need to buy the cartridge aswell I just needed the stylus , but when I ordered it the company I bought it from let me pay for it and then told me a week later they had non in stock , so I cried lol but they did have the cartridge and stylus in stock so they sent me that instead for the same price , plus the cartridge had 2m red on the side of it in red and with the blue stylus it set off my ocd lol
You see, this is a typical way of how these modern day no longer reputable companies are out to con you. This is just like the old REGA CARBON CON with the basic audiotechnica 3600l series stylus. Why i got into sourcing old audio technica carts and looking out for N.O.S discontinued styluses. Genuine and made in japan. Well'' what's left of them.
yes there is a very slight difference when you have the acryl it platter on instead of the mdf platter but again it is very slight , i found that the acryil it tightened up the low end bass and made it slightly more controlled and punchy , the biggest difference is like you said the upgrade from the 2m red to the 2m blue , i found the 2m red to lack detail and to be abit scratchy and grainy , but the 2m blue picks out alot more detail and separation from the different instruments and a cleaner sharper overall sound
So many 'reviews' and no one speaks about antiskating !!!! People, the anti skating is IMPORTANT feature if you care about good sound ! No one ever shows does anti skating works. Everybody just believe that it does, when there are a lot of turntables that it doesn't. Check it with the blank test record and show, for God's sake !!!! Otherwise the review is useless. To me.
Anti skate/bias ADJ Tone arm on blank test record with no grooves! Set the anti skate/bias until tone arm stays perfectly still on one spot in the middle of the blank record Arm shouldn't slide into centre or towards outer, but stay perfectly still! No movement of arm! This helps the diamond styli to accurately track both sides of the walls of the grooves in the stereo record! Outer=LEFT CH Inner=RIGHT CH Anti skate helps gets the balance right. Adjust it with that of the tracking weight. Usually the more tracking downward pressure the more need for anti skate! For best results experiment for best possible sound. Just make sure the turntable is perfectly level! That is my take on it😉

What phono stage do you use?
I used the one in the arcam sa10 amplifier, it was better than the project phono stages that I tried
