Just found you! I’m so glad! You have such great advice. I need to overhaul my closet, but I can’t wear high heels anymore 😢
Wearing sneakers with everything is so widespread now, but I always feel frumpy in them. I feel best in a 2-2.75” block-heeled, leather shoe or boot (I could never wear a traditional 3” or taller heel, I think my feet are just too short, nor can I squeeze pointed-toe shoes onto my wide toes). Sezane’s Paula Babies are my current favorite shoes, but I wish they would offer covered-heel versions, these are sling-backs.

It’s doable when you’re working at the office and not so much in motion. Maybe you could suggest as well the recommended type of shoes when you’re on family vacation with male teenagers that involves walks on subways and commuting trains and walking through places (in addition to sport shoes and sneakers). I love ur advice! I do love my wedges tho. I think I can pull them off more because I’m a midsize girl pear shaped. They balance me out vs feeling like an elephant on toes with skimpier heels. Idk 🤷🏼

what kind of pants can you wear platform sneakers with? I have 2 pairs from Tommy Hilfiger but it makes me look frumpy with all types of pants. I'd thought it would give me some height while being comfortable without having to wear heels, but it doesn't look good with most of the pants.

I have been following your contents for the last few months. My body type is almost the same as yours. But, I'm shorter. I'm too short for a pear shaped body. I love Mary Jane heels. But, I don't know how to wear them. Looks like I should avoid Mary Jane heels at all costs.

You recommendations for shoes don’t have casual options. Maybe it’s because your personal preferences are not very causal but i would appreciate seeing more casual options for people that don’t always prefer heeled or pointed shoes.

I disagree with your assessment of cropped pants, especially how they supposedly don't work with ankle straps and strappy shoes. Cropped pants already make your leg cut off so you don't wear it to lengthen your leg anyway. Especially for a tall woman, I think elegant straps or statement shoes look pretty nice with cropped pants.
