I have been riding the now called Late Night Trails..back in the 90s it was just Cottonwood north/south trails, since the mid 90s. I am still in Vegas 1 week a month and ride with friends all over the area. People I take for the first time are amazed at the trail systems and different levels of trails. Thank You for highlighting what Vegas Local Mountain Bikers have loved for years!!!!
Really happy to see you riding my home trails. It's not often you get to see others riding and enjoying the same things that you do. It's also nice to see how a far more experienced rider, such as yourself, handles this kind of terrain. Hearing you mention things like tunnel vision and skidding makes me feel like it's not just me that deals with those issues in areas like this!
@@bkxc The riding in Vegas is so under rated. Ebb is such a good time, especially when you are really cooking. Next time you want to come let me know and I will take you to the real spicy stuff.
I need to try EBB'n Flow next ride! I rode down Flow job and it was amazing! Love your videos and glad to see you out in my home town of Vegas! Enjoy the desert!
Rattlesnake season for NV and AZ right now. Lots of green Mojave’s around blue diamond and especially Boulder City trails. They tend to be more aggressive than westerns so be alert boys.
I just rode it this weekend on your recommendation . Wow techy techy . I got humbled a few times on the climbs -It’s a nice challenging loop. Thank Brian for all that you do !!👍🏼
Wow, you really have to be on your A-game rolling through there. I rode Flow Job the other way recently and loved it. I need to get back to the Valley to ride this one.
Was thinking of going to vegas for a cheap vacation and this looks great to me! Nothing too difficult and a unique landscape. Also it looks easy enough for my dad to ride if we go slower.
Man, I really need to ride that the next time I'm out there. I was always a little hesitant from the short mileage, but I see lots of people love it on trailforks!
@@bkxc It's really good both directions so a lot of people do it clockwise then counter clockwise to get the mileage in. It feels a bit like Zen condensed into a shorter trail. Chunky and difficult, but really fun
I'll be there in10 days visiting my son. He generally takes me to Blue Diamond, Late Night, The Mesa and Union Trails by his house. We will be by Flow Job. He decides where to take his old man.
It's my fav Vegas trail too! And I live here! Nice to see you shredding Ebb n Flow and enjoying Vegas mtb! If you have time, checkout Britney Fears (also known as Brohemian Rhapsody loop) at the far NW edge of Bears Best riding area. Incredible views and rock work by the local builders.
I wondered when you were going to hit this trail! I work in them hills across the way as a rock climbing guide. This is one of my favorites! What do you think the poor reviews are from?
Awesome video, gents!! love it! Question...what is the anti ebike obsession? My wife and i upgraded to Yamaha class 1 Moro 7 emtb. Full suspension, have to peddle for power or you can turn it off and just peddle. What do these do to trails that a regular mtb doesn't? We ride 7-10 mph. i will never go back regular mtb and, in fact, most places now in europe only rent emtb, confused.
"Enough" is personal preference, but I think most riders would prefer a bigger bike on something like this. The Ibis HD6 that Brian is riding is 180/165 (fork/shock), but I think 140-150 would be my recommendation as a lower end. I personally think 120 would be underbiked for a trail like this. You can certainly do it, but a bigger suspension would probably be a better experience.
If its the only bike you have while in Vegas, it will be just fine provided you have a more trail bike set up. I just rode this on my 130/120 bike, it was a lot of fun! But that's the biggest bike I have and I'm happy to just cruise and not trying to hit all the features. Most of it is pretty flowy, and there's enough uphill that made me appreciate the short travel. If I had my choice, though, a mid travel trail bike would probably be most comfortable for this, but I ride what I have, haha! For reference, I'm a Vegas local, so I'm used to our desert riding and sharp rocks😅
Another no ebike trail... There is no-ebike trails everywhere in the USA, and the best trails are not permitted to ebike. They will never see me there and have my $$.

I've lived in Vegas since the 90's and I've ridden those trails forever! Love that system!
That's so cool to hear!!
Kudos to Brian for continuing to show us the good and the bad from each ride and putting his ego aside in the process. Hope the frame is ok!!!
Haha, just a little scratched up! All in a day's work

That was such a fun ride!!
Yooo can I get the address?
Blue trails in Vegas are no joke lol. Flow Job and Ebb n' Flow are fun trails. Great video!
Haha, seriously!! Some sharp stuff out there!!

I'm riding McDowell Mountain Regional Park, in Airy Zona right now. Very fun trails.
McDowell is awesome!!!!!
Such a fun trail to kick of the trip! Definitely going back for seconds on this one
Such a perfect route!! Glad we made it happen
I like how you show the climbing in your videos!
That's SOME of the fun!
Wow, at 10:24 we can actually hear your heartbeat for couple of seconds. Great video!
I need to try EBB'n Flow next ride! I rode down Flow job and it was amazing! Love your videos and glad to see you out in my home town of Vegas! Enjoy the desert!
Yeah, well worth getting back there!
Welcome to Vegas! We’re happy to have you!
Thanks a ton, it was a great trip!

Yes! It's a fun and tough one! Glad you got out there and did it.
Such a great trail. Glad you liked it.
Most definitely!
Blue Diamond network is my home trail….i will have to go and check this out.
Wow, you really have to be on your A-game rolling through there. I rode Flow Job the other way recently and loved it. I need to get back to the Valley to ride this one.
Yeah, it's tricky!
Love those trails! Coming from AZ its just the right amount of tech and flow. Excited for your newer cowboy edit!
Yee haw!
Damn, this is so far beyond my skill level. Love it. How many tail whip/ endo turns can you count from the guest rider?
Thanks for your time in making my new bike trainer video!
Perfect!!
19:44 Donating money is the most fun you can have with it.
Two minutes in and I'm already reminded why I should wear gloves even if I don't want to. Just when I've been comfortable being gloveless lately. 😅
YES!! I would ride naked if I could, but it's not so fun once you get cut!
It’s called degloving when one hits at the wrong moment.
My 2nd ever ride on a mountain bike was on Ebbnflow. :-) Wore me out but had a blast!!
Oh wow!! Good for you
Hah. "Everything in the desert is trying to kill you." -> That's been my mentality for years.
The plants! the plants want to kill you :p
Was thinking of going to vegas for a cheap vacation and this looks great to me! Nothing too difficult and a unique landscape. Also it looks easy enough for my dad to ride if we go slower.
Hehe, not that easy!
Absolutely great content. I’m recovering from a torn rotator cuff (not mtb related) . Thanks for taking me there !
Glad I can give you some stoke while you heal up
Again… love the in video ad! And it’s an actual good ad, so it would actually be watchable on its own. Nice work Brian! Great video dude
Fantastic, love to hear it!
Hop on over to St George and try the Kentucky Lucky Chicken trail. I think you would love it
Man, I really need to ride that the next time I'm out there. I was always a little hesitant from the short mileage, but I see lots of people love it on trailforks!

Cool stuff. Looked fun!
Tons of fun!
Love it!!! Trail looks like the right amount of sketch with the right amount of loose ground.
Typical of the trails in that area.
Yep!!
Dang, that looks awesome...good stuff!
It's lovely!
I'll be there in10 days visiting my son. He generally takes me to Blue Diamond, Late Night, The Mesa and Union Trails by his house. We will be by Flow Job. He decides where to take his old man.
Nice!
Excellent!
All that rocky terrain and no knee and elbow pads? You guys are hardcore!
I've always got the knee pads going!
Oh man, I missed that one! Thanks for the reccommendation, I'll note it for next time!
I scraped the crap out of my e-bike frame riding in Las Vegas too! Nothing but sharp rocks out there!
Hahaha, my frame is now fully broken in!
How do you like the bike so far? Any frequent pedal strikes due to that low bbh? Keep up the good work
Haven't had a ton of pedal strikes! I feel faster downhill and slower uphill for sure, especially on tricky uphill.
I wondered when you were going to hit this trail! I work in them hills across the way as a rock climbing guide. This is one of my favorites! What do you think the poor reviews are from?
I really think the fun of it was going fast! So maybe if they're going too slow and getting caught up on all the tricky parts.

Yeah, I don't really get the anti ebike thing either.
😆 Bad advice at 13:21 but I totally get it
Hahaha
When I happily tell my wife about "Flow job" 😇
sometimes the people who name the trails aren't very UA-cam friendly lol
Sad how pedal assists is not allowed on some trails
Yeah, I'm still confused by the whole thing
I wear gloves when road riding LOL
Hey @bkxc, what camera and body mount are you use to record?
I am going to vegas in October and want to ride some of these trails!

What do you think of the HD6? Is it too much bike?
I think the Ripmo is the sweet spot for me, but the HD6 descends so well. I think the Ripmo climbs better.
what amount of suspension would you recommend for this trail? Is 120/120 enough?
"Enough" is personal preference, but I think most riders would prefer a bigger bike on something like this. The Ibis HD6 that Brian is riding is 180/165 (fork/shock), but I think 140-150 would be my recommendation as a lower end.

I'll be in Sedona tomorrow . Stop over in Needles , 9 + hour drive from Santa Rosa .
We’re all just cheese verses those rocks!
Even in immortal mode
Hahahah yep!
Can you give me one of your bike, just for fun 😂😂
Thank you for the Crockett Hills donation! Much appreciated
So stoked we can support Crockett!
“Carbon Fiber”…..😂
Wow nobody gets those views unless they ride that trail.
Yup!! So good
2nd hehe
heloo

Another no ebike trail...
There is no-ebike trails everywhere in the USA, and the best trails are not permitted to ebike. They will never see me there and have my $$.
The only thing stoping you is a sign, I've never had anyone call me out
Haha "don't need it"!!!
I mean, if you only ride an ebike they don't want you there, so I doubt they care they aren't getting your 7 dollar parking fee. 😅😂
Most of the Kenai peninsula is no e-bike. Nobody cares.
I rode this trail on an ebike before. It's an acquired taste. Trails similar to it are mcCullough trails starting at Anthem Park.
Whoever named a trail 'Flow Job ' might want to think again. Culture has moved on since then.
Culture can suck a dick 😊
