The MTB economy is definitely a thing - for a quite few years now we have travelled to from Scotland different parts of the world riding trails for 3 week vacations. This year Tennessee, North Carolina and West Virginia are getting our Scottish pounds - can't wait.
I don’t understand why American and Canadian trails are so labour intensive to create. If you need dynamite to make a trail that’s just ridiculous. The U.K. trails are 90 natural with some hand dug berms and jumps. If you feel the need to remove every rock and root you’re in the wrong sport.
if you get a travel trailer you'll want a 3/4th ton truck. or an F150 Lithtning would work as you mentioned, aside from the short towing range and long charge times with their current batteries (ford is playing it pretty cautious with battery tech). Fully load out the trailer with a solar+battery system.
Thanks for share part of this beautiful paradise. Got 2 questions: 1. Do you have to pay to get in those trails? 2. Where can i get a cellphone holder like Sarah’s one and what brand is it?
🙌Thanks for reply man! Love your videos so much that I’ve allways hit the like button starting to see your videos cause i know they gonna be good and yeah i hope one day can see you on the trails🙏 Thaaaaanks!!!
Dude how many snakes have you seen over your years riding or bears ? Always think about how you’re in these middle of no where places you must have seen your fair share !
@@bkxc full electric is sweet if you’ve got a short drive or have the time to stop and charge up, at least that’s what I have gathered. Towing significantly reduces the range on an electric vehicle. The hybrid can be used as a generator, but sounds like you’ve got that covered at Everstoke! I’m sure you will do your own research and get the best one that suits you, good luck hunting. Keep the good vids coming!
I agree with the comments about the couples ride, great energy Bk we love it🌲⚒️🪵🏔️🪨We are Trailbuilders You should come see us in Klamath Falls(Spence Mountain) just finished a Blue called “Chinquapin” a 2 mile DH on north side of Spenc Mountain. I am sure you have been here before I am just not seeing it right away. We have already moved out and cut over 400ft on a new mile called Eagle ridge out along Upper Klamath Lake. Spence Mountain is getting on the radar BK but a lot of people in Bend have never heard of it but ya. I think your rhythm is much like ours in the sense we build here til fire season puts us out, conduct maintenance on a badass trail the boss built on Bachelor with buckets of rocks hammered into slope🤷♂️😳⚒️ but ya then we bug out to AZ, Moab, etc then come back here Spring. Great “work” man!!
I'll be in Tahoe City The 12th though the 16th on my NEW Specialized EVO 8 . A little pissed that Jack Ass Trail is closed for repair but , It's all good the TAP HOUSE will be open .
I love it! It's great to hear that there's new trail. Regular Hough is fun but it could get monotonous after a while. Rode Toll Gate last year. That shuttle is where we bumped into Joe and Robert.
Love this video! Is there boondocking areas around there? I drove by during a visit to Forest City above downieville... more great trails to share! Have you been there?
Man, I love watching y'all rip! SO MANY great places to ride! I heard you mention looking at a travel trailer for Everstoke. I have just gone down the rabbit hole for travel trailer research and we use ours as 'home base' to ski out of in NC! I've got some tips, I believe I still have your email from when we tried to ride in/around Winston Salem. Will shoot over a video for ya!
towing with electric trucks may not be for you. The drag from trailer sucks a lot of power. range drops dramatically. travel trailer is on my dream list.
@@bkxc I just started mountain biking recently and racked up around 8 hours in my local trail and I’m making videos and loving every second of it! Keep up these amazing videos, love the channel!!!
Love seeing you 2 out on the trail! More couple ride videos!!
It was fun!!
Me an my crew built alot of that trail last year! I did alot of the tractor work up top until you hit the hand built
That's awesome! Great job
Good to see you back home w Sarah. She can't go on all the trips bc I suppose she has a "real Job." Beautiful trail and nice backcountry riding.
Thanks Pete!
Always great seeing you two out riding together and laughing!
Thanks so much!!
Curious to know, what would you do in case of a bear attack?
😊Nice ride. I did the full climb on my Ripmo a few years ago on a 90 degree day. That road is so steep. I was hallucinating by the end, lol.
Hahaha! I believe it!!
Looking for the Pacific Ocean out here in Ohio :)
Haha, it's only a hop skip and a jump from here
Well I didnt have Pacific Midwest on my bingo card...
Hahaha, yes

Been a while since you did a full spec and visual breakdown of your current ride. Miss that.
Thanks.
Think he’s on his last Ibis, thought he said they aren’t sponsoring anymore. Doesn’t seem like he likes it as much as the Ripmo.
It's the XX Build with Trail One cockpit! www.ibiscycles.com/bikes/hd6

Amazing and awsome to se Sarah
sarah is freaking rad dude. congrats.
I think so too!

Only need to get it to Everstoke once and then park it there for 10 years! No need to take it anywhere.
Near perfect turns, what a beauty of a trail!
Looks like a blast!! ❤
Watching while cooking chicken and freezing dog food toys, my chicken may taste funny 😅
Hahaha!
Wtf/where is the pacific midwest? ;)
Nobody calls it "the Pacific Midwest." Great video!
They do now!
Please, place the camera on the helmet
Great vid. Get a lightship rv. (or equiv) they look cool, just pricey.
Oh yeah, those things look amazing!
Brian, did you pick up the Loam Pass for this summer?
Sounds like a sweet idea! Don't think it'll work in the Yukon, Scotland or France!
Sarah is killing it!
Most definitely!
Sarah's been MIA in the vids for a while.
She's got a real job!
Thanks for share part of this beautiful paradise. Got 2 questions: 1. Do you have to pay to get in those trails? 2. Where can i get a cellphone holder like Sarah’s one and what brand is it?
She uses Quadlock! Everything is free to ride

Great piece of trail : ) Thanks for sharing.
Thanks!
What he could not have seen
Was the sickness upstream
Those abandoned remains of the wasted
Zoomies.... brilliant
Hahaha yep!
What is the zoomies?
I can NOT stop watching YOUR game of mountain biking. (Azonto Tee) you tube.
Dude how many snakes have you seen over your years riding or bears ? Always think about how you’re in these middle of no where places you must have seen your fair share !
Not as many as you'd think!! Five or so?
The forest, it feels like after the carpet bombing
Yep, that's pretty similar
Love riding in that area :)
SBTS doing some really good building!
Most definitely!
You mentioned an F150 lightening. Have you thought about the F150 hybrid?
Exactly. Brian can comfortably tow that new RV for Sarah.
Haven't looked at the hybrid, I love the idea of going full electric!

Super cool! Yeah, I think regular Hough is a great appetizer!
Love this video! Is there boondocking areas around there? I drove by during a visit to Forest City above downieville... more great trails to share! Have you been there?
I haven't been to Forest City yet, but I have heard of the trails! I'm not sure about the boondocking around Mt. Hough
You should head over the mountain and ride Susanville Ranch Park. There are a lot of killer down hill sections with jumps and even some wood features!
Yeah! I rode there MANY years ago and didn't really know what to do. Now with Trailforks it's a bit easier!
What a wonderful trail! I am craving to ride in dry conditions. Spring has been incredibly wet in western Europe.
Yeah, it's a great one!
I'm about to drop a deuce, but Brian just dropped a video. Okay, I can still clench it for 24 mins. 😂
Hahahahaha
Mt Hough was magnificent. Brian how do you feel about HD6 vs Ripmo?
Great on the downhill, but I think I want to get my tough climbing agility back!
She needs her own gopro so we can see what she sees.
Sarah's looked like she's improved. Her technique seems so much less rigid! Nice!
Smooth operator!
Dude i can't get LMNT in eu because of glorius democrcy laws
Ahh, brutal!
LMNT is wayyyy too salty. When you riding at Everstoke next?
She's got a real job!
Awesome
This looks great! Kinda jealous compared with the places I have to ride

Very cool!!
It's not an epic ride unless Sarah hits the deck at least once :D lol She rips harder than most.
Hahahah, always some tricky turn waiting to get her!
There are more green bubbles in the world compared to your blue bubbles
Yup
Pacific Midwest Blue!! Think that girl is a shredder
Big time!!
Orange is the new tack xD

bonjour de la France
Definitely my favorite trail of all time.
Nice! that's cool to hear
Nice looking trail after the burn area.
Really nice!
Mt Hough is absolutely awesome. Will go back this summer
It's a treat! 3 routes off the top now!
What trails do you recommend? Done the Mt Hough DH before
Great couples ride!
Glad you enjoyed it!
