My only concern is no pads on black diamond rock trails. Is it easy to pilot a commercial airliner with a smashed elbow? Hard to buy new bikes with no paycheck. LOL
So great to see a follow cam on James! I know he rides so well but you never get to see his body English, pumping and absorbing the trail... it's awesome to see how dynamic he really is.
You always find the best riding partners. I always love seeing people enjoying New England since I was born here. We used to ski Killington back in the day. Thanks for the great post, brother/s.
I had the privilege of spending 6 months in West Lebanon, NH. Spent many days driving over the border and biking VT. Ascutney was only 20 minutes down the road from my hotel so I spent a lot of time there. Miss it very much, had the whole mountain to myself on weekdays.
Watched your video on my new computer with a 42 inch screen from about 3 feet away. Wow, almost like being there. Found myself leaning into corners and back and forth up and down hills. Keep it up Brian.
I just rode this for the first time yesterday. Followed your route. What an absolute blast. Burning spear, Joes, Disneyland all amazing. And no kidding……I saw those birds up on Joes!! Swear to God. They left me alone but def had to be their turf. Thanks for an amazing video of this awesome place.
One of the best quality point of view mountain biking videos. 🔥 I wish my audio could sound that nice. Anyways these videos are fire. I really appreciate your effort in these videos
I might have seen over 100 BKXC vids, and I don’t think I’ve ever wanted to teleport into a ride quite as much as today. Just a rad trail that was just spicy enough to be thrilling the whole way, I’m totally inspired for a NE US/Quebec trip.
Hey Brian loved seeing you in my old stomping grounds of stowe. Vermont is dope. If you come back save my list - ranch camp (used to be my back yard). Cochrans is the best XC around IMO with awdome downhill like visceral and skulies. Bolton Valley just got lift access. Cady hill is more beginner bit still a ton of fun an new features every year. NEW HAMPSHIRE has some great riding too especially just south of mt.washington. a sick month would be Vermont to NH and thru NH to quebec (u know that place well). Cheers!
Also I'm surprised and impressed you did that near-vertical rock roll. It definitely looks worse in real life. I consider myself a pretty good rider, but I chickened out on it...
Awesome video - glad to see you enjoying some NorthEast magic. There are some awesome trails at Mt. Ascutney worth adding when you return in a year or two.. Keep up the great work!
As a retired airline pilot I’d love to know who James flies for….safe travels Capt!👨✈️👨✈️yes more videos from Vermont! Such a beautiful state! I’m from upstate NY so very similar!
Have James take you to Otis in Falmouth MA, Cape Cod. Awesome trail network. Two other New England trail networks, Boston Lot in Lebanon NH, and Greenwoodlands in Dorchester NH.
Yo you should have hit up Skills with Phil. Perry hill is awesome, but there are bunch of other great trail systems within 30 mins drive of Waterbury. Maybe next NE trip
I see that you are very close to Canadian border are you going to cross the other side it will be open november 8 :) ? edit: "it may start to snow soon tho"
Perry Hill is one of Vermont's many gems. Glad you to hear you guys enjoyed yourselves. :)
Hei Phil, love ya
I live in Vermont too and have experienced the attack of the Grows
I really liked James's energy. Seems like a cool guy to ride with. Amazing rock rolls and flow, awesome trails.
One of my favorite trail centers in New England. Great ride!
Nice sherpa-ing!
Awesome video you guys! Love riding there!
I didn't know you were a pilot. My son is going to Bridgewater state for aviation.
We have also been to perry hill and enjoy vt.
Nice riding JC. If you fly the way you ride i don't mind flying with you capitán. Brian, nice tailing and hold the wheel.
Focal banger, yewww 🤙🤙
Why would anyone give James and this trail a thumbs down. This place looked awesome. James knows how to live

So great to see a follow cam on James!
Perry Hill is great, so is Millstone, Slate Valley Trails, VT Flatbread trails, etc. So much great riding in VT. Thanks for the video Brian.
Some great looking trails! And James has some style, too!
Killington bike park, green mountain trails, and trails in and around Rochester are my go to trails in central Vermont.
That looks like the best trails that I’ve seen you ride. Wow!
Even though I don't have a mountain bike, I love watching these videos. Awesome terrain, edits, and great scenery! Thanks for posting!
What a great ride! James is a great ride host for calling out features. Looked like so much fun. Thanks for sharing.
You always find the best riding partners. I always love seeing people enjoying New England since I was born here. We used to ski Killington back in the day. Thanks for the great post, brother/s.
The Rastaman roll is no joke, nice job!
One of my favorite trail networks!
Dude sick ride with JC Trails (James). Those trails looked wicked fun!

This place looks 100% rad! Never would have guessed riding like that in Vermont...legit!
snowboard and mountain biking are some of my favorite hobbiessssss

Awesome! Thanks so much Marc!
I started mtb and they don’t get enough props for their climbs it’s insanely difficult and puts into perspective how fit they are 😂
Here in Vermont them grouse is called partridge. Wicked tasty.

I can second this list.
I loved seeing you enjoyed our awesome state! Hopefully you do make it back here for a longer visit because there really is some epic trails!
Vermont is a beautiful place! I spent a summer in Burlington. I wish I was mountain biking back then!
Wow I have to visit Vermont and ride this trail. Amazing
What an awesome natural trail. Funny when you guys were scared of the grouse 😂
It's a wonderful place. It's a course I want to visit when I get the chance.
I'm going to watch the great video~
Amazing line choices! Great job!!!
2 awesome youtubers riding together so cool
I was just in Stowe last month for part of our vacation...so cool!
What an incredible trail system!
Rock rolls galore...This place looks epic! 😎
I just did Blueberry Hill Waterbury. We did one other place, not sure if it was Perry. Great place!
Great Riding Brian. The trails their looks awesome!!😎😎🤘🤘
This was one of the most fun trail systems I've ever ridden. The rocks are soooo good.
Also I'm surprised and impressed you did that near-vertical rock roll. It definitely looks worse in real life. I consider myself a pretty good rider, but I chickened out on it...
Lived outside Rutland in early 70s . Awesome ride !!!!
Amazing trail system...great riding guyz. I remember James. I won a pair of lime green, Pedro's Tire levers on his channel...
The trails look absolutely perfect! Very jealous.
Of course the first trail you hit on a VT day is named Burning Spear! Man this video makes me miss my east coast riding!
Some rad trails right there... Not jealous much 😸
what a sick little trail... might have to make the trip!
Awesome video - glad to see you enjoying some NorthEast magic. There are some awesome trails at Mt. Ascutney worth adding when you return in a year or two.. Keep up the great work!
Trail system looks superb. I did the whole Pisgah, Dupont thing this summer. Thinking New England might be the direction next summer!
You two should do more collaboration. Fun duo. Fun video.
Come by Ontario between Vermont and Quebec next year. We don't have a ton of elevation, but still some great trails.
JC is the man, hope he's all healed
This was so DOPE you guys killed it 🤙🏾 ride was amazing the energy was outstanding
James with the focal banger!!
That's a nice stumpy JC is riding on!!!
Very cool trail . . . would love to ride this someday!
It's amazing!

James looks like a great guy to ride with!
Looks fantastic.
What a cool place to ride!!
Awesome. Riding looks amazing!!!
Hey Brian , next time your around upstate Ny look into riding a place called 909 and Jockey Hill and Riedelbauer resort xc trails .
I Love this Sport !
Have James take you to Otis in Falmouth MA, Cape Cod. Awesome trail network. Two other New England trail networks, Boston Lot in Lebanon NH, and Greenwoodlands in Dorchester NH.
Hi Brian! Maybe next year come back here make a "50 Trail Shred"? 😃
Ohh very cool place! !!!AWESOME!!!!!
Thanx this episode!
Nice! This is 5 minutes from my house. My 11 year old has no idea how lucky he is to have something this good so close. (and the price is right)
Great video guys 😍👏
What a place, another one for the bucket list!
Just got to watch out for that pecky bird, haha
Looks like great trails!
What fell at 8:25?
Vermont riding is a combo of Bellingham plus Colorado. And the cheese is great too 🧀
On my list for next year
OMG i just found out from this video you are from JAMAICA 🇯🇲 🇯🇲 . I am too, love your videos
Hope you got to sample some great VT IPA's while you were there. The Alchemist is just down the road.
Nice nice video. Thank you!
Looks sick!
You can't have a one-eyed pilot, but you can have a one-eyed pirate. 🏴☠️
I watched you thread the needle twice on Joe's, that was bad ass man.
Will you come back to upstate NY?
This looks good. I may have to visit the new England family.
omg what a wicked trail how do you top that
Great quality product
I'm not from Vermont but that looks like a sick trail to ride my bike on. I would have jumped at that one area instead of riding on it.
Brian, you been wearing that Trail Pittsburgh jersey a lot lately. Time to wash it! 🤣
Burning Spears, Rastaman. Trails w some positive vibes
Muy buena esa ruta de montaña 😎
Great video Brian and awesome trails. I will say though, that your bike is starting to sound like a bag of bolts 😳🚴♀️
Yo you should have hit up Skills with Phil. Perry hill is awesome, but there are bunch of other great trail systems within 30 mins drive of Waterbury. Maybe next NE trip
I wonder if your buddy was disappointed when they renamed the trail? Rastaman is now called Small Axe.
Where the van on this trip Brian?
Did i miss something? Where is the van and Sarah? Seems James made a FULL recovery from his leg operation
I see that you are very close to Canadian border are you going to cross the other side it will be open november 8 :) ? edit: "it may start to snow soon tho"
How big is this bird? Lol we have bloody magpies here in Oz. Breeding season at the moment. 😬
I recommend keeping the camcorder overhead for better quality videos.
Great stuff 🤘🔥
Great ride. No need to lock out suspension on climbs. It was a myth. Pedal bob does not decrease pedaling efficiency.
If you don't like pedal bob, get your ass off the saddle, pull on the bars and go faster! 😀
Nice. I'm going.
