i very much appreciate the camera man for covering the microphone when the big impacts was ringing. it is definitely appreciated by headphone users
We try to be mindful ... thank you for watching
The Knipex pliers are so awesome, that they have the thinnest jaws for the size. I work in industrial maintenance and have used the same pair for seven years, they still work like new and I haven't busted my knuckles in seven years either! I refuse to buy any other brand!!
Yes sir 100% agree with you ... when it comes to pliers it's Knipex or nothing lol ... thank you for watching
It is the knucklesaver design for me too!
For sure - i love it ! To hold a knipex cobra in your hand is such a good feeling.
I am approaching fanboy status with Knipex. Their tools are downright glorious.
I don't know what I'd use the XXL cobras for, BUT I WANT THEM 🤣
🤣🤣🤣 yes they are glorious 🤣🤣🤣
I've never cared about brand loyalty until I got the Knipex Cobras!
seriously ive never been a fan boy for any tool brand until I started buying knipex. Now if i need a tool i look up to see if knipex makes it first lol
@@1Fine69c they make good stuff that's for sure 👍👍👍
Thank you for watching
their adjustable pliers are by far the best of everything else on market.
You got some bad ass tools man..... The germans make good stuff...
Thank you ... and yes they sure do
Gewaltig ist des Klempners Kraft,
Wenn er sich einen Hebel schafft !!
So isses !😂😂
I love my Knipex, I got the 10” Cobra and one of those “pliers-wrench”, they’re amazing! I think I want the pliers next if they can come down in price 😎
they sure make some good stuff ... thank you for watching
I hooked my pair of the 22" xxls to a genie 5519 telehandler and used the boom retract to break loose a tie rod and of a 12k telehandler
Wow now that's impressive
Just bought my first knipex cobra. I thought I was the only one that thought my Milwaukee channel locks were garbage. I have a lot of Milwaukee tools and they are all pretty good. But those channel locks are terrible, they don’t hold on to anything and just eat up the surface of whatever your trying to hold. Nearly unusable. Bought the 10 in cobra’s. Looking forward to using them.
10" cobra pliers are my go to pliers they are awesome worth every penny IMO
Wait until you get the 7 1/4" pliers. I just got them and I'm in love. Lol. I had a 10" pair and a 12" pair, and was actually annoyed by how sparingly I actually need the 12" pair. I love the smaller ones. Obviously. My next purchases with be the black steel, comfort grip, wrench pliers. The 10" pair of wrench pliers I have developed a weird detent when squeezing the handles, and I feel the black steel wouldn't do that, but may be more aggressive on the surface your wrenching (which is important when trimming out plumbing fixtures. I think the silver ones have magnesium in them making them softer.
Now do it the other way around: fasten those bolts with a Cobra and try to loosen them with the Milwaukee.
like the idea ... thank you for watching
I bought milwaukee electrictions plyers , 45 years of plumbing I never had a worse pair of plyers .
“Ohh she’s tight”
Ooo yes 🤣🤣🤣
Bruh..... Are we talking about toys or what?
Does she wet ?
You don't need the entire knipex cobra set. Is it cool to have? Yes. But you could skip every other size and get by just fine.
A 10 or 12" is enough for 99% of people. Same with pliers wrench, a 7 or 10 inch and you're done. Unless you're doing very specific jobs
I have the 7, 10, and 16. I use the 7 a lot. Love that size.
If you need BIG....you need a BIG tool. Same with small.
@@mateialex2 true and 10” can do anything the 12” can do. If you’re a commercial electrician I’d recommend 2x 10” 2x 16” and 2x 22” for feeders. As plier wrenches go 99% of the time it’s the 7” ones they do it all.
U SIR BUY THINGS THE RIGHT WAY I AM THE SAME LOVE THIS VIDEO
Thank you ... I had a great time making the video and I found this to be a great demo to show design and quality. Thank you for watching
You should do the test of tightening the bolt down with a XXL Kinpex and then sling if the big impacts can take it off afterwards
OOO that would be a great follow up video ... thank you for the idea
I use mine for taking off stubburn DOC SCR sensors on one boxes. The 16" cobras are perfect.
They are great pliers for sure ... thank you for watching
I like the my new Kinpex Raptor just wish they made a bigger and smaller version of it...
It's been on my mind to pick one up ... sure they come in handy for rounded bolts and thigh areas ... thank you for watching
That IS impressive!
I thought it was pretty cool ... had fun making this video. Thank you for watching
Love my knipex
Very well designed tools 👍👍👍
Thanks for sharing.
thank you for watching
Luv my 10" Knipex Alligator Pliers'
I pocket carry them Daily at Work'
Same. I didn't even know their reputation when I'd purchased them off Amazon, just tried them out based on reviews & so I'd have a set of offset pliers that were different from all of my coworkers. The lack of wobble combined with the grip, after all the abuse I've put them thru is amazing.
You should try the wrench pliers, they are made for hex nuts. The Cobras are for everything else, I mean they'll do the damn thing, but they mar the finish on the hardware from the sharp teeth. Thanks for the video! Gotta get me a big honkin XL version soon
Need to buy them wrench pliers first and they are on my wish list but I'm not made of money 🤣🤣🤣 but I totally agree with you that would be another good video
Thank you for watching
I absolutely love my wrench pliers. I have a 12, a 10, a 7, and a 5 inch. I have given dad a pair of 7. Because they are that useful. They replaced my crescent wrenches. I love them so much, I'm going to buy A set of the 22 in cobras. For the extreme uses. I'll probably wind up with an entire set of those too.
I'm not made of money either, but I am a tool junky, and I'm tired of buying crap that doesn't work well. These cobras I wish were the first pliers I ever bought, because I would have save a TON. Buy once, cry once. Instead I bought several times, and after I bought knipex, I cried again because I realized how much I loved them, and realized how much money I wasted on everything else......
I used to hear" knipex is best" and I saw a pair of torn up pliers, that were junk a few years back, made by knipex. I didn't believe it. So I never bought any. This year alone, I changed my mind after seeing the uses and benefits. They deserve my money for being the best. Even if I don't have it to give, I want the pliers, but again I'm also a tool junky😂
-nice Test. There is a even smaler Knipex Cobra a pliers and also have a look at the 80 03 300
Yes i did a Knipex tool haul it has a lot of different sizes in them. Thank you for watching
I use only channel lock and knipex pliers....the knipex flat jawed wrench type pliers are very versitile
Had good luck with channel lock in the past got a set in my truck toolbox
Been wondering about the flat jaw knipex
Thumbs up, for the power tools alone.
Thank you Eric and thank you for watching
I need to get that whole set
you probable don't use all of them but it sure nice to have tho lol
Amazing, you got some nice toys right there.
Thank you ... it does get used lol
@@CountryMileGarage I’m about to order a pair.
Thanks for you review
@@carlosayala6754 no problem that's why I make them videos lol I was impressed myself to be honest with you 😁😁😁
Woow nice test
Thank you and thank you for watching
If I had a dollar for every bolt head I snapped off with a pair of knipex I could buy them XXL knipex 🤣
My Cobra 250 & 300 look beautiful next to my Milwaukee drills
lol that's awesome ... thank you for watching
You know they make knipex with flat jaws. Is basically combining the crescent wrench and channel locks pliers.... Great set of pliers they are.
Yes I know I did a same kind of video on the pliers wrench as well
They just about replace the adjustable wrench.
@@jtoker9758 💯💯💯
I would of stepped on the pliers instead of a cheater. Both work yet if you have the space just use your body weight. I use my knipex cobras mostly on round pipe. The bite marks from the way the jaw is designed to lock on to pipe or fastener. The teeth on the knipex last and stay sharp. I been abusing my 10” almost everyday around 5 years. No fear of slipping and punching some hard metal. These may be last pump style pliers you buy. I thought you were going to break some Milwaukee pump pliers in this vid. Many my coworkers have yet none have busted a jaw on a pair of knipex.
I am torn between the 10 inch and the 12 for my tool box, its mostly for diy rather than automotive, which would be better in you opinion?
Lot of pros prefer the 10" because the jaws are not near as wide as on the 12"
So you can use it and get it into tighter places
@@CountryMileGarage thanks for the reply, I think the 10 inch will be better for me then.
Let me know how you like it
Of knipex cobra sizes the 10 inch is the most useful size in general use. As a mechanic, electrician , plumber
10"/250mm are the accepted general , everyday go-to , i carry the mini 125mm as a works edc also :)
Good 👍 👍
thank you for watching
When I saw knipex vs. I was intrigued. Then I saw Milwaukee and I lol'd. I thought it was Milwaukee's channel locks. Lmfao
I don't "need" the 16" or the the 22" but I want them oh so very bad. Lol.
lol I don't "need" the 16 and 22" but they are nice to have and come in handy at times. Thank you for watching
Impressive
Thank you and thank you for watching
They make a smaller pair of cobra pliers now. I carry a pair of em in my pocket all the time.
I have seen them ... they don't have the red rubber on the handles right ?
@@CountryMileGarage ya they dont have the rubber grips or the push button to adjust them. But their great to carry in your pocket, cant tell their in there.
@@towboatjeff 100mm ?
@@ccmogs5757 yep 100mm. Their tiny
👍
Thank you for watching
perhaps now you need to test with the pliers wrench
Have a video out on them as well check it out if you like pretty impressive stuff if you ask me. Thank you for watching
Holy jeezlus... I had no idea they made the cobra that big... Dang it! Now I gotta buy more! Worse yet... I gotta run it by the budget troll now 😑
😐
Lol they are worth every penny tho ... thank you for watching
@@CountryMileGarage oh I know! I just broke a pair of V Jaw Channel Locks today while trying to unbolt a nut with the other end gripped by the cobras... My Knipex broke my Channel Locks... Now I gotta buy another set of cobras to replace it.
Never buying channel locks again, they're not made the same. 😑
@@Ibonic that's a fact for sure I may have to do a video on that Knipex vs the other brands lol
@@CountryMileGarage definitely would like to see it. I'll definitely be watching, as will many of us!
It's scary just how much better built the Knipex are than the channel locks; honestly I think the two pieces on either side of the jaws that help with centering the force make these a lot better than people think. It's almost as if this style is the only one to truly square up the pressure and the others with only one piece at the top makes the pressure cantilever slightly, making the force more to one side and forcing the pressure to be shifting to the outside
❤
Thank you and thank you for watching
EDC the mini-cobra 125 - indispensable :)
I love my cobras 10" is my favorite. thank you for watching
@@CountryMileGarage - Use those also , quick-set version , great tools :)
The one thing I don't care much about Kinpex is there regular they just crushed my larger hands. Their comfort grip what a difference that makes. Just enough padding in the right place is makes a difference of the world. Unfortunately I've got a twin grip pair of pliers and one other set that does not have that comfort handle which I'm going to have to get additional flyers to replace those two pairs. But that's okay cuz you can never have enough Knipex pliers
Knipex pliers are awesome for sure, kind of was the point of this video it's amazing how much torque you can put on them ... thank you for watching
Love your bench, what is the cutout section for?
Not sure what you are talking about. But thank you it's been a awesome welding table. Here a link to a video about that table.
ua-cam.com/video/4cZYw2thH8g/v-deo.html
@@CountryMileGarage thanks for the video link. I was referring to the magnet you have right above your grinder rack. First time I had seen something like that.
@@txtoolcrib that magnet is handy as all get out ... it's like a third hand
And a must have if you ask me no matter if you are a DIYer or a pro
@@CountryMileGarage I would like to incorporate that into a table, any chance you have a video of what you used and how you installed it?
@@txtoolcrib sorry no video on that ... yet I can make one if you like lol
Knipex are good quality
Those 22” pliers look like they have the non-slip grips. If so do you mind telling me where you bought them from? I need a pair
Got them from EBay
@@CountryMileGarage thanks
I’ve been emailing a few people on eBay trying to see if they have the new style handles like you, but I’m not having any luck. You mind telling me who you bought them from on eBay?
Zoro Tools on ebay
@@CountryMileGarage thanks a bunch
the most important thing was that the cobra stayed on.
Yup I thought that was pretty cool
I'm gonna try pipe trick with something at work for fun
It worked for me more then ones lol
Your not tightening the bolt for long enough with the 1” guns. You need to hold it for a few seconds to reach peak torque
6:42
Even 250mm version can withstand way over human weight.
These weigh few times more, should be good for probably close to 500 kg pressure or maybe more
I'm not sure what the weight limit is but they can handle some serious torque ... thank you for watching
you are using the knipex cobra the wrong way.. the fins are designed to use them the other way and you have to use the stiff part for pulling or pushing.. so put the open up the next time when you turn left and keep this direction to tight it
thank you for watching
I'll be damned Countymile you said you've put pipe on the cobras and you shure did, I bet that doesn't work on, channel locks very well, unless two pipe fit
Lol
Wow you need to do some serious sound-deadening in your shop when you say cover your ears I was like how loud could it be and then I was like oh ahh, I see that's how loud 📢
It's the heavy steel welding table making it echo so bad lol
Based on the accent, are you from Wisconsin by chance? Lol
Nope IN lol but lived all over the state's
What do you work on that you need the XXL for lol?😂

I like my Wilde brand plyers! Knipex are good pliers for cars maybe! But if you doing any plumbing or anything you don't want to booger the s*** out of everything. Wilde brand are untouchable in comparison.
Not familiar with Wilde pliers ... thank you for watching
В России такие гайки пальцами легко откручивают 😆
Theo Thats funny you said the people said you can"t do thatà. Well they are pretty stupid because they just watched you do it ! lol
Torqued!!

Knipex is hard to beat imo ... thank you for watching

the whole point was to use a cheater pipe as you can not do that with other brands of pliers ... thank you for watching
U take the wrong knipex for the job
thank you for watching
I bought a small pair of Milwaukee players. Nothing but garbage. As you apply pressure, it is sent right back to your hands. So you have to squeeze tighter. Garbage compared to knipex. Don't get me wrong. I love Milwaukee power tools and own a lot of them.
I hear you big Milwaukee power tool fan myself but I question their hand tools ... for pliers I feel Knipex is hard to beat ... thank you for watching
