Hey Alex! Thanks for the comment man! Keep trying and you will! I recommend using Google maps and finding sand flats with channels nearby. Think of those channels as highways for bass to travel and Chase bait. Sometimes they're stacked on Channel ledges. If they're not at the channels, they're probably roaming the flats looking for food. All part of the fun is exploring new areas and finding them!
Thanks Cameron!! We're very fortunate to have these beauty fish in our regions! Our sport fish for many generations to come, hope it doesn't get ruined!
I visited the island and fished this spot 2 weeks ago, tide was too high so wasn't able to make it out to the lighthouse. Nice to see someone got good fish out there!
@@slipieee9962 Aw man that's too bad, next time! Try low tides next time. Much safer and regardless of high or low, I've caught them around there on both!
PEI is so beautiful and so are those fish! You’re certainly determined to cast for those striped bass out there ☺️ Lots of different lures for striped bass today too! #fishingseason #princeedwardisland #eastcoast #bestluresforstripedbass
Awesome video, Brody!! Your striped bass content is always epic! Thanks for taking us on a sweet multi-session journey of fishing that awesome looking place... Tight lines, my friend! Bananas are NOT bad luck 😂😂 🤙🤙✌️🎣
Thanks dude! It's a pretty cool spot! Let the flood gates open, I'm sure there will be a few more Anglers heading to that spot now that it's posted lol. I always have bananas with me 😂. Enjoy the rest of your week. Kevin! 🎣😁
Bass fishing in Prince Edward Island Canada - definitely worth a trip! #fishingtrips #wheretofishincanada #bestfishinglocations #princeedwardisland #stripedbass
Please keep trying! Try going to channel ledges on low tide. A bit easier to find. Also if there is a flat going down into a channel start casting there!
@@AmbitiousAnglerFishing all good, only concern about this good spot is the trek out, someone gets hurt out there they might block it off from fishing, Its a dangerous spot to get to
Yes. Be mindful of the tides and winds. I grew up on the other side of that light by the waterfront. There were many days that it and rhe rock wall wasn't visible. Thanks for the video. May be the spot I go next time I'm over. Tight lines. 😊

@@I_Am_The_Real_Steve_Keating. Yup! I believe they are for trolling. I do throw it into a cast and retrieve categories every now and again. I normally use it on my kayak for heavy trolling of lures though!
I was looking at these lures online and they don't come with hooks (at least not on Amazon), any suggestions for hooks to use? Do you like bleeding hooks? What size? PS, I live about 3 minutes up the road from this lighthouse! I take my dog there during low tide all the time because there's rarely anyone around!
@@algpark oh that's awesome, your in a convenient location to go target them! Yeah for the Daiwa SP minnows I'll use 3/0 single inline barbless hooks (just crimp the barbs). I recommend the VMC brand for replacement hooks, great for saltwater ! Weird that your SP minnows don't come with hooks. Standard SP minnows from Daiwa come with treble hooks. Make sure it's Daiwa that you're ordering from on Amazon and you'll get the trebles!
@@AmbitiousAnglerFishing gotcha! You got me curious to try the Daiwa SP minnows. I just need to find out if it's legal for us to use lures with 2 hooks. I live just outside Shediac NB and follow fishing rules for Striped Bass in Tidal waters
@@MrCrousseau Oh okay! Yeah they work awesome, highly recommend them. I would go with bone, blurple, and yellow pearl. I'm sure many colors would work in different situations though!
Great
Thanks for watching! This was an epic couple of days using plugs and big swim baits! Definitely one of my favorite places to go! 😁🎣😎

World class fishery here in my opinion!

Giving away the good spots
I don't mention locations normally unless asked privately but yeah PEI is small lol.
PEI is small, so he can’t really help it… and besides, gatekeeping from people who love to fish isn’t nice either 😎
