This man has his priorities right. 5k boat with 15k of tackle in it. So many people have it all wrong, 75k boat with a zebco rod 🤣 Awesome collection man!
Thanks Geoff - so many gems in there on colours and storage etc. You truly are the king - an inspiration to so many of us. Please keep the content coming 👍
Hey if you want to stop breaking off those expensive lures this will help. First thing is those snap swivels can cut through the knot if you add a oval split ring to the end of the snaps and tie to the split ring the larger diameter will make the knot way stronger
The jointed claw is set to suspend or slow floating. You can catch a large perch by moving slowly in an S-shape to gather the fish and then making a sudden escape motion. K9 can be darted from side to side to stimulate fish and catch fish, but it does not produce the natural S-shaped movement like a jointed claw. The jointed claw is a unique swimbait for high-pressure Japanese fish. Thank you for introducing me to so many Japanese lures 😊 Rattles are very effective for catching perch in wide waters, so I love lures with rattles in them.
nice tip for us new guys out there.. new to swimbaits and I always lose the one I use the most 😂 I need to just have 3-4 backups of 1 good bait instead of a bunch of different ones and then having to wait for a new one in the mail
I feel your pain here man! The 86s are my jam and I’ve got a few in each of the different models I like. I’ve been throwing the DRTs more, I dumped a tank on the K9 but haven’t stuck one on the Ghost or the Tk yet 🤞🏽it must be they’re to small and I need to throw the frenzy 🤙🏽
Dang Geoff, I love those Kazana baits! I’ve gotta try to find a way to get my grubby mitts on one or two of them. What an impressive collection of top shelf big baits. You have amazing taste in baits. Thanks for sharing your collection with us. It was a blast checkin’ em out.
Man I have almost as many ( all JDM) and those you mentioned and yes the addiction is serious ! Currently loading up K9s and Ga' Graces . One other one that I desperately want to catch a bus with is the Adusta Barbatos.. hopefully this November.
The Fish Tackle Shop FL looks a lot like the Strike Skate and Tackle Fish Jewels which is my favorite color way. So hard to find. Awesome collection brother.
Thanks for sharing G! Really enjoyed the vid. If you’re at the Gathering this year stop by. Funny you’re saying 7” are small swimbaits😂. For us Midwest guys that’s our big bait. 😂👊🏻
To each his own #1! That's a lot coin in swimbaits! I fish big swimbaits alot but I don't have that many. I only buy a replacement when I break or loose one. With the lure retriever thankfully I don't loose them to often. I only have 2 K9's, one in sake bomber & other in brown trout. I have a chimera shad, defiant 210, couple magdrafts in both 8" & 10" , 7" line through bass mafia that's it. I did have the 7" citizens but after loosing my last one I never got anymore just because I do so much better with other soft baits.
One day I hope to own that golden shiner Klash. Have you tried double split rings, and short shank triple grip ewg, hooks for that King? Might help with some hook rotation, and keep them a little more pinned.
Shine Glide by Savage still a very affordable one that swims great. You should try the Glideway 176 by Swimbait Republic, it's a very versatile one that can be fished slow and fast. I also love the Balam by Madness, Alive Bait 140sp by HKML, Gantia 180 by Jackall/Illex. I think that's the ones i use the most. Fox Rage Replicant Jointed is also pretty good if you want to go fast like the balam. Imakatsu Javagill is also very good but i didn't used a lot yet. Missed a really big perch on it. Jackall's Swing Mickey have a pretty nice action too, you can use it a bit like a crankbait but for me the best with it is to go very slow on the surface. It's very reactive to very small twitches. Also have some castaic bd shad and mini bull shads but nothing on them yet.
Crack is an issue when bought outside of moderation, the over purchasing of swimbaits is dangerous but shouldn’t ever land you on your knees in a back alley👍🏻
it's really easy to get rid of ratles you take a dremel make a lil hole and add some super glue to fix the moving ratles. take some baking soda and try to add it to the hole after you put a small drop of super glue on top (you have to seal it). it's easier to get a clear version of your lure to locate the ratle chanber. If not and you get it wrong you can still repair it with baking soda and glue.
Yeah, you might have a little bit of a big bait problem. haha. Dig the passion. I own a few but haven't developed confidence but that's mostly bc I haven't given them anywhere near enough time. Need to force myself to take nothing but a swimbait rod and a few bait and fish those for a full day. I'll be in Japan in a few months. The ex rate is 155 JPY / $1 USD so crazy not to cash in. That's basically 50% off.
Been watching your videos for a while now and found them to be very informative. I've just started fishing with large swim baits and glide baits like the 6th Sense Trace and Jackall Gantarel Swimbaits. I have a few JDM glide baits... I'm so afraid to keep throwing cause they are very expensive, like the tiny klash. What is your take on Geecrack Gilling Neo 160F Hard Body Floating Swimbait. Ever tried them before? I've had a lot of success with them. I just wanted to get your opinion on them.
I have enjoyed fishing DRT Klash 9s a lot but still haven’t caught one on it. I have been using the Spector color and it looks amazing! I want to get some more swim baits that are special addition ones like the ones you can find at The Gathering and would like to attend The Gather by Swimbait Universe but I can’t find any information on when or where it is. I missed out on the one at Lake Fork just because I was still getting into the swing of big bait fishing. If you have any ideas on how I could find information on The Gathering I would appreciate it.
Bro nah 😂 one don’t take them on carry on and just put them in luggage. Two no one’s taking your fucking hook unless it’s a size 0 treble or a freaking grappling hook 😂
Geoff if youre looking for a custom resin trout glide bait KGB has a new trout called the goat trout. Check it out its dope. 10in long 5.5oz and readily available on his website in different color patterns. Price is $250 shipped to your door.
I have a question for you where are you fishing up northway I just want to know where you are where you are fishing cuz I never see you out there on a water
Theres a guy on universe who has helped me score a few rare DRTs from collectors in Japan. He has a daughter there and she knows a lot of guys. Might be worth a try to grab that wood mix tk.
And so tails won't warp, between soft and hard baits I'm up to about 30lbs of baits lol yes I have a problem because only been fishing larger baits 2 years now lol!
They sure are pretty.. but i wouldnt spend so much on them.. only time a big bait like that is better is on shallow water with a lot of small bass in there.. few big ones.. it depends on where u fish offc.. Im more a fan of softbaits.. lot cheaper also.. and fish smaller baits.. more enjoyable..
Lmk when you’re ready to get into worm fishing, I know it’s daunting but I can give you some good beginner suggestions!
😂
The collab we need
Always knocking the worm 🪱 lmfao 😂😂😂😂
@@foreverfishingillinois815- Marsh loves the worm lol
This collab is what I want so bad.

Awesome collection man!
lOVE Zebco it's where i started.
I think it might be more than 15k in tackle
I was not expecting Geoffrey to pull out 4 Hinkle trouts
Broooo. At that point, I just paused the video to just look at them. 🤷🏾♂
Thanks Geoff - so many gems in there on colours and storage etc. You truly are the king - an inspiration to so many of us. Please keep the content coming 👍
Thanks for watching my man!
I'm glad I'm not the only one with the swim bait issue!
Hey if you want to stop breaking off those expensive lures this will help. First thing is those snap swivels can cut through the knot if you add a oval split ring to the end of the snaps and tie to the split ring the larger diameter will make the knot way stronger
I dig the passion you have towards your craft … And your mannerism.
The black hudd is their UV color. It's has a glowing factor when left in light and fished at night.

Love throwing glides and Swimbaits but I also love cruising the shallows flipping a jig or creature

I definitely have an addiction to swimbaits as well 😅. Awesome video & collection 💯 ❤.
Thank you Geoffrey, I always learn something. I like that Magic Trout K9, learned that.
Really fun video, Geoff. Thanks for showing us your collection.
Hell yeah dude. I'm not just swimbaits yet but I have a crazy amount of tackle. Maybe someday I can own a few hinkles
Thanks for posting I just wanna see baits and collections. Guess imma have to get my collection together and post it also
How would you/do you approach grass lakes when using big swim baits? That’d be a cool video. I’m in Florida
I wanna see if those massive lures would work well for musky

Great Vids! I’m touching into the GB Fishing here in Louisiana. Great content appreciate all the work!
One day I hope to own that golden shiner Klash.

Might help with some hook rotation, and keep them a little more pinned.
I just got the juvenile shiner k9 from su a month ago . No bass yet lol but 2 pike , one was about the size as the Klash 😂

This is exactly why i have waited to long to even dabble in the big swimbait world. I know once it gets going the Rabit hole is endless XD
There's no going back once you start my friend!
Crack is an issue when bought outside of moderation, the over purchasing of swimbaits is dangerous but shouldn’t ever land you on your knees in a back alley👍🏻
This is a fact 😂
Thanks for sharing 🎣☮️😎
Nice, thanks!
No problem detected!
Add a treble to the front of the KGB. Austin Neary has some content on it. Have you tried the new Deps Headshot?
I feel your pain buddy. Awesome collection there. Were in the "same boat!" Pun intended. My collection is insane too
Geoffrey the King-Brilliant video. Thank you for sharing your collection. Bugbaits, UL spinning gear and the pink nutsack rig for September?
Dream collection
I’d like to see you do that Gancraft vid. I have that exact bait in that color.

I have several Gan Craft 178 that I ordered from Japan, I got one in bluegill color that I’ve never seen in the US at least I haven’t.
That’s sick! Japan gets a lot of cool colored Gan Crafts!
When and where do you like to use the citizen 9
Thanks for sharing dude! Fire collection! “Color doesn’t matter”. “That Golden Shiner color is hard to beat”. 😂 just giving you a hard time.
Color only matters to our weird brain😂
@@crazybassfisher i think color matters on the lake that i fish. But you might be right

Go on Facebook and look up the group Swimbait Universe, they host the gathering, the next one is in Virginia in late September
How do you fly with your baits? I heard TSA can take baits because of the hooks if you have them in your carry on
Bro nah 😂 one don’t take them on carry on and just put them in luggage. Two no one’s taking your fucking hook unless it’s a size 0 treble or a freaking grappling hook 😂
I always throw them in my checked bag, have had no problems so far that way
How you fishing the tiny clash?
If only I can find where to buy swimbaits like these
Hey Jeff not sure if mike covered this, but do floating tyrants dive a tiny bit from the fins. Thinking of buying one if that’s the action it got.
Not because of the fins, normally from the line sinking
I love how your buddies leave troll comments on every vid
I’m surprised you don’t have a Bullshad
Might have to grab something from them soon!
I think it’ll be easier to name the baits you don’t have!
That's where the rest of those Hinkle trouts went to..lol
Crazybassfisher...yep...name checks out...😊
What reel would you recommend for not super expensive and can do almost everything
A Tatula 200 in a 6:3 gear ratio, fairly inexpensive and can do damn near everything!
@@crazybassfisher thanks! I was thinking about the Shimano Calcutta 200/400
I would buy one of those hinkle trout off you.

What’s the name of that giant Signal Carp Head? I can’t find anything about them.
I believe it’s called Ultra Carp!
How the heck do you fish on a V hull boat... i'd be in the drink everytime.
Do you use split rings for all your baits want to know so I can get more bites
Split rings or snaps on about 95% of my hard baits and none on my soft baits!

How many times a day do you listen to Tank?
Geoff showing us all 500 Lures he has to tell us how he's cought 10 fish his whole life.
Bug bait collection video next please 🙏
If I wanted to send you a lure, could I send it to the hook up?
No Osakana slides? 😢
We’re spending all this money on baits when the world record was caught on a live bluegill😂😂😂
that tyrant 12 go crazy 😅
Thing is ridiculous 😂

Geoff, I'll more than happily purchase a tyrant 8 or 2 from you if you wanna come off of some.
My personal favorites, the Gan Craft Ratchet 184 and Balam 245, are unfortunately not in your collection... What don't you like about them? grin

Nice arsenal but how much you would say total you have like the homeless fisherman
Hi
No KRK / Kaesu’s …?😮
Why are so many of your baits missing the tail?
Because the tails are interchangeable... And it's probably just easier to store them
With the tails off
And so tails won't warp, between soft and hard baits I'm up to about 30lbs of baits lol yes I have a problem because only been fishing larger baits 2 years now lol!

Damn I wish I had that tyrant collection. I barely scored one.
Checkout Mr Zorba’s baits
Those lures you have don't work, just sell them and buy a real boat
“There aren’t any fish big enough to eat those here”

There isn’t anything wrong with his boat.
It doesn’t take $150,000 skeeter to catch bass.
What's a boat? Is it a fashionable item? Or is it a tool that just have to work.
