- In this video I made universal LED tester to check different LEDs fast and easy. It will determine the forward voltage and i will not burn the LED.

Thanks. I had to figure out how to make it easy and efficient. It's something like a light path 😊
What happens if you short the leads?
Nothing, because there is a 2.2 k resistance on the positive lead. I did it many times by mistake and nothing bad happened.
2:43 F***. I didn't think the light guide would work that well.
Actually it is working well enough. For more brightness I could run cables and LEDs to the panel, but it didn't cost the time.
@@FixitEasyDIY I don't know how accurate the camera captured it, but that looked like there was an LED poking out. While I thought, it might be visible when you squint hard in the dark.
