Really appreciate these vids. I put over 1k hours into KF2 in the first 3 years of release, then stopped playing until the recent update. Your vids are really informative on the new weapons and changes to fill in the blanks.
I won't lie, the SeekerSix is a huge guilty pleasure for me. It's not as good for raw damage as the RPG, but it's a good all-round choice for when playing solo. Also, I think the lock-on time is based on distance. If something's fairly close, the lock-on is REAL fast. The one thing I don't like is that I distinctly remember KF1's SeekerSix having a burst fire that lets you loose the entire clip at once. I miss that. Especially since a toggle for the lock-on does nothing for me. That and you're still real weak if something gets in your touchy feely space thanks to the arming distance. Although not as much because it has a good ammo pool and even if they don't explode the rockets still do respectable damage against smaller targets. That and the lack of arming distance means I keep blowing myself up every time I fire without realising a cloaked stalker was right in front of me. Also I know it's not listed because it came later but why on earth is the Tommy Boom heavier than the Kaboomstick? Really?
I don't know if the Tommy is really better than the Kaboom Stick, but it is strong; if they're combining it with semi-realistic weight, it makes sense. (Thompsons are *ludicrously* heavy IRL, even without a drum mag.)
I loved playing Demo in KF1! Often, I'd pair the M-79 with the Orca. Since they're both single-shot, you can switch back and forth between the two of them and just keep launching explodies. For later waves, I'd sell the M-79 and buy an M32. Btw, the real-world M-79 only weighs about 6-1/2 pounds. *Note:* The M-79 and the RPG-7 were both used in the Vietnam War. Also, what if there was a "Cowboy" perk that specifically focused on guns based on Old West-era tech? That means single-action revolvers, lever-action rifles, pump-action shotguns, double-barrel shotguns, and dynamite (possibly also bolt-action rifles which came into being around the tail end of the Old West era). With all the perks that currently exist, it would be redundant, especially considering the jack-of-all-trades, wild card, Burt Gummer-esque, maverick nature of Survivalist. And yeah, I'm kinda borrowing the idea from Fallout: New Vegas. 10:43 Since it feeds from pre-loaded cylinders, there's no purposeful reason for it to have a flared muzzle. Still, I dig the concept. It's like a flak cannon with either a steampunk or dieselpunk motif-go-nuts a go go! 12:18 Like the Orca from KF1.
As a berserker main, i use the pulverizer with 2 upgrades together with the hemoclobber with 2 upgrades. I run full dmg perks and use the pulverizer (i call it banhammer) to oneshot skraigs and the hemoclobber to gain some sustain if i'm running kinda low on hp.
Kaboomstick is certainly one of the most powerful weapons in the game! I'd say hemoclobber is also at the same status for berserker & survivalist. Kaboomstick and hemoclobber are insanely good weapons when combined, they weigh only 10 together. So, if you play something like survivalist with heavy weapons training, Melee expert & Weapon harness. You can buy "Kaboomstick (6) + Hemoclobber (4) + AA12 (10)". I mean what are the Zeds going to do? Not very much I suppose :)
Ya, absolutely the Kaboomstick and the Hemoclobber is my favorite loadout for Survivalist. They are both really strong and work pretty well against everything.
FInally someone who also think Seal Squeal is arguably the best, it is easily the most underrated gun IMO, it can do anything , clear trash, take down big zeds, knock back, demo works very good in a team set up compared to solo, a seal squeal on a team can go far, you also take very little friendly fire damage
Well presented. I do admit I've been surprised at how powerful the Demo starting weapon is when fully upgraded. It's pretty fun though the Kaboom stick is much better.
As it turns out, you can use the blunderbuss like the loose cannon from team fortress 2. Also I was gonna try and defend the seeker 6 but I agree with what you said lol
I watched this just to see where you ranked the kaboomstick. I'm very glad it took #1 It's such a great gun and it reloads quickly so the low mag size really doesn't feel bad
I know the M16 assault + grenade rifle is a good weapon, but the demo's version of it leaves a bad taste in my mouth knowing it's inferior compared to both the commando and firebug (which has the best version) versions of the weapon.
Man they really massacred my boy (M32) in KF 2. In KF 1 the weapon is pretty much the same, but does x2 headshot damage and only weighs 7 instead of 9, making it the Demos best weapon in said game. Easy to take it with capable side weapons for when you don't need a burst of grenades.
@@ihatethatyoutubedisplaysyo8106 I agree. KF 2 may have added a ton of stuff, but the feel of the game is always a bit off to me because a lot of things got changed like that when it wasn't needed.
@@Ottriman As much as I liked how British the first game was, it makes sense when considering the story and the end of the line update, with Kevin Clamely fleeing to France, it makes sense that the trader would become French. I miss having a physical trader talking to the mercs, even if it raises questions like: ' where did she go during the wave?' or 'how does she move from one shop to the other?' It made the game have a bit more charm in my opinion, but being able to watch glorious headshots in ZED time will always be the charm of the game.

Great vid man, huge props! The Blunderbuss is a hidden gem; you can burst bloats in 1 direct-impact shot at range, keep the trigger held, then release to detonate and take out a ton of trash zeds as well. The impact damage it does at surprisingly long ranges is it's biggest selling point, by far. Never understood the hate for the Seeker though, it's one of my best weapons for BioLabs and small, laned-off maps. Just the sheer amount of spam and it's good reload speeds tears through everything but SC's. Though, it is a little weak against FP's unless you can hit them dead-on. It's a shame the M32 doesn't live up to the legacy of it's KF1 counterpart, which the Seeker feels more similar to.

Seal Squeal is probably my favorite weapon as well. And my go to load out is Max Seal Squeal and a Kaboomstick.

For solo play I guess I’ll have to get the sledgehammer to block boss melee that’s the biggest hurdle I see is the lack of speed and surviving combos.
It can be good for some of the bosses, mostly the King Fleshpound.

It's probably one of my favorite weapons to use with Demo and I think that it is pretty strong combined with the Kaboomstick.

I miss the old trader. I also miss having Pounds as the currency, it just made the extremely British game even more British.
