I had designed a Mother nature costume for a play on Highland ckearances...we were to do but it never happened. My idea was mother nature passing through the scenes with crown of flowers that changed with the seasons. That is why yr work struck a cord with me! Im trying it now! Thank you xxx @@EnchantedCrochetShop
@@tenaciousv7611 I just did another row of single crochet. So instead of chaining 45 then going back and doing a row and single and then another row of single I did a row of chain-less foundation then a regular single crochet. If that makes sense. And that play/costume idea sounds amazing! Hopefully one day you can do it 💜
That is so interesting!!! I've never seen Tapestry crochet done....I heard about it like 40yrs ago but had forgotten all about it...think I might want to try it someday...thanks for sharing this awesome vid!
That's the first time I have ever seen anything like that WOW! What a beautiful Project you have inspired me I had no idea that could be done like that but now I can do so much tytyty wow😮
I happened across this post accidentally and wow! This was amazing. I can’t wait to make this and learn more about this process. Looking forward to perusing your videos. I hope you share more like this. I couldn’t hit subscribe quick enough. So excited to learn more. You are awesome.
So glad I found your youtube channel. I was able to make this quite quickly, it turned out amazing. I’m not sure how to keep it from curling in the corners and lie flat. Any help would be appreciated !!
You can get some wooden dowels (or sticks) and slip stitch the top and bottom to the dowels so you can hang it up like a tapestry. Or try blocking it by either getting it wet and pinning it down till it drys or pinning it down and steaming or ironing it. Hope this helps! 💜
Thank you! ❤️ And I’m sure you can, the squares represent one single crochet. So you just chain how however many square there are across then follow the chart and change colors for each square when needed. You got this! I believe in you ☺️
Don’t you find that when you do not carry your second color the whole row over (I’m thinking of the green that you hold back since the next row starts right above the current stitch), or don’t even include it (as in the first row without any green in it) that you have inconsistent thicknesses? Wouldn’t that affect drape as well?
I block all my projects so I haven’t noticed an issue. I’d imagine if you had to carry a lot of colors and didn’t n some spots it would affect it. But with just the two colors it’s not a problem ☺️
How would I execute a picture if I want it on a bigger surface but of course graphing paper is only so big. Would it still be the same amount of spaces wherever u start it?
When I hand draw a design I will tape graphing paper together to give me a bigger surface to work with but I also use a website called stitch fiddle it’s super helpful with this kind of stuff!
I will keep that in mind for the next one thank you. I do plan on putting it in a frame so it will be flattened when I hang it on my wall. I’ll post that when I do so you can see the picture better.
WOW that was awesome. You may have just inspired me to try tapestry crochet. Now to go look for that graph paper......Thank You!
If you make it I’d love to see it! Please tag me on instagram or Facebook ☺️

Not yet, but I plan to in the next few days on my instagram ☺️

I think you should’ve used white wool. It would’ve stood out more with your Beije wool. It’s got flex in it and it’s very hard to see the picture.

I really like the colours! It’s looks really organic and beautiful.
Thank you! That’s what I was going for ☺️
This is awesome! Subbed. 😊
The background music is distracting, so I’ll have to check your recent videos to see if you removed it from the others.
Awesome! Thank you☺️
And I’ve turned the background music down a tone since this video. Sorry it’s distracting
