    Hi Hanno, good tips!
A method I personally use, after mesuring DL, nocking point, peep hight, poundage and let off is to start by replacing only one cable, go to the draw board, and adjust the new cable until the cams are in sync, than I replace the other cable and make the same adjusments.
At this point I replace the string and I adjust its lenght to the correct DL; and this way I'm sure that string and cables are exactly set at the same lenght of the older ones.
I check the poundage and let off to be sure, than install a proper set of nocking points and D loop, the peep sight, and procede to retuning.
This way I generally have to do very little adjustments 👍!!

More people need to see this! I don't really have the same tools you do for this kind of stuff but it definitely gives people a good heads-up for what to expect after having their bow restrung, I'll make sure to share this with my buddy's so they can give you some support too. Great video! One more fan on your channel, keep up the good work!

Hello Hanno, just wondering....will you be changing both the bow string and the cables at the same time? Do you always change everything at the same time?

Normally no, to start off with the string is a good idea, you can get you draw length close by doing that first.
Then I would slap on the cables, sometimes one at a time, mainly for safety reasons. It gives the cables time to settle into the grooves and makes it easier to handle when you press the bow back and forth to get the setup back on spec. If it is floating yokes like on this pse or a mathews, then yes I replace the cables at the same time as you need to take the whole bow apart sometimes to take the yokes off 💪🏻

Good video. You dont mention where you measure brace height to. Is is the center of the riser or the edge?

The deepest point of my grip to where the strings starts 💪🏻 sorry about that 😬

The ATA setting confuses me. The tightest strings at rest are the main bow strings not the bus strings - so why do they influence ATA length more than the bow string?

Sometimes when the string is longer than it should be, it takes on more stress and allows the ATA to adjust a bit, but your logic is sound 💪🏻 that is why you should start with replacing the strings first.
The cables have the main influence also because they are in charge of the cam rotation. Of a cam is over rotated, the ATA will be shorter. If the cams are under rotated, the ATA might be a bit longer
