I’ve always wanted the solo cam switchback xt. The parallel solid limbs, the single smooth cam design, wood grip, the gold vibration dampeners. It’s just a beautiful bow. Definitely love the longer axel to axel. As primarily a recurve shooter this is a nice blend between old and new engineering. Glad you got your bow, I’m always looking for mine someday.

I’ve got a 22 year old Mathews solo cam LX and wouldn’t trade it for anything

I never assume a top cam only move. I look at cam lean at full draw and address the cam or cams with severe lean at full draw . On my lift, I had a severe lower lean and had to move it more than the top to get proper tear.

I believe the 3 's seemed more stable... But both seemed better with the lumi nochs? Slightly heavier? or just dazzle? I'm new to archery , reading other comments say agree.. Phew!

I have a 2005 Switchback XT and in my opinion, it is the best compound bow Mathews ever produced. 18 years old and still shoots like a dream.

Mathews switchback xt may be the best bow ever, but my traverse easily outperforms it as it should. Traverse is their best of the newer generations.

The Mathews Rival Pro was one of my favriots.. and insted of going out and trying to find one I kinda built a some what modern day one.... Took 2 brands I love and combined them... I am a fan of longer ATA bows so I took a 2010 Hoyt Vantage pro riser with 2003 XT2000 limbs and set it up with a Mathews Rival Pro cam... 42.75" ATA with a 7.75" brace height.... it shoots so smooth and the arrows are like darts.. just drop right on in... also tunes nice with any broad head.. I also liked the Q2XL and Icon as well

I have this same bow, all dressed up and shoots super smooth. It's not a fast bow, but ultra quiet and VERY forgiving. I'll never part with it.

I wish you would have put up the measurements on the bow , like brace and showed your center measurements on the rest , and show how it looked tuned up with the string and axles

side bar takes out side to side wobble i had shooting over 50 yards. rock solid now. i use 3 oz on 4 degree down and 4 degree out

hello, i keep getting a tail right tear on my evo xf 30 pse bow. Ive moved my arrow rest as far left as it can go trying to chase the tear but now i'm out of adjustment on my arrow rest. what do you recommend first?

Mate, getting a perfect bullet hole means nothing. It does nothing to your skill as an Archer. Too many people become obsessed with this bullet hole rubbish.

At 13:06, I noticed one of the cable anchors is on backwards. Not sure if a total disassembly is really necessary, but to each his own. New strings and cables, cleaning and lubing the cam and wheel bushings, and cleaning out the cam tracks (rails) is good maintenance. I still own and shoot my older Mathews bows, (MQ1, and Ultra Max).

The Switchback and Drenalin single cam bow are some of the best bows Mathew’s ever made.

With cams leaning and limbs looking unlevel …. Does that cause bow to be inconsistent at distance ( 80-120 yards)??

The 3 fletched was faster in the end, but the 4 fletched seemed to be more stable and faster rotating in the end of the flight. It makes sense I think...4 fletched introduce more drag, but also more stability it seems.

Hi Hanno De Klerk, my PSE Lazer is lauching the arrows drift to the right no matter how much I move the rest to the left. I don’t have any idea what’s the problem. Can you tell me some hints?

Cool camera work. I’d check your clocking. I think you would benefit from left instead of right.

Hanno De Klerk A few months ago I bought a lazer model compound bow, I have noticed that the string is to the left of the grip, it does not align on the center of the grip and the string damper, it is also to the left, it is a nightmare, it has a lot of torque effect due to this in my opinion. What I can do? Or is this misalignment to the left normal and correct? PSE archery does not answer.

I just take my string stop out of my bow always. Bow feels better without it on it has more of a kick foreward witch i like. Also found it more acurate to shoot

Sir ur demonstration bow is same as I am using n couldn't fix the limbs top and bottom with it's serial number...I have got limbs number 151,154,157 and 158...will u me in diagram which limbs should be fix at top and bottom

Sometimes a gap is good if its not a hunting set up as the gap came make the bow more forgiving
