Wot console already has the tr-580, tr-85 and the tr-125 in cold war mode. Heavy mediums but a bit weak to missiles due to lack of era. Problem is the tr-580 would look ridiculous fighting a maus but that hasnt stopped wg before.
At this point, I think we need a sort of Pan-European tech tree, something we see in World of Warships

Anyway, if WG follows the pattern of the previous 4 years, the next tech tree should be announced this month. 3 out of the last 4 January/February releases were announced in September and the 4th was announced on October 1st. Given that the Spaghettauro is not my cup of tea, I'm eagerly waiting.
@@antalpoti the minotauro is indeed very niche. And sadly the m-v-y has proven to be a trash line aside from the tier 8. So the last two have been total duds.
To be honest, been playing the game since 2014, and I would really love to see my nation tech tree in the game, and others to. It would be cool to see, Hungarian, Brazilian, African tech trees in the game.

As a Romanian I grinded T55 the first 3 weeks after it came out to have something similar to the TR tanks so a Romanian tank line would be fun for me but I can think of some reasons what WG will not implement it: the decision about introducing a new nation I suppose is made based on revenue from that area and originality of the nation's tank design; an Australian line with Bob Semple at tier 1 is more plausible before Romanian; Romanian tank design is not that homogenous especially with switching the sides in 1944; TR77 was made in 1977 and WG seems to put at tier 8 tanks made in the 40's and early 50's, the T55 which is inspiration for TR77 is at tier 9; the line does not introduce a new, exciting play style at high tiers if anything is another soviet derivative tank line with a few adjustments and people don't really get excited about that; Romanian players don't switch to War Thunder nor quit the game due to the lack of a Romanian nation in game. Is it possible to make a Romanian tank line? Sure. Will a Romanian tank line bring the best return for the time and resources investment from WG? meh, idk, keep in mind that WG is under constant pressure from the player base to change things, balance, design maps and so on, so blocking so many man hours to program a new nation with models, animations, physics, sounds, maybe a new map even needs to bring massive purchases of premium time, premium tanks crews, etc.

@@PabloEscobar-nr3ic If there's money they want, a Romanian line would bring in cash so damn fast. Make it half RO-DE first tiers and RO-RU the next tiers so that e/o would love to buy Premiums on top of the whole passionate community of Romanians buying and playing a tree made for them. Money flowing.

A composite south-american tech-tree tank (ARG - BR - CH) would be pretty interesting for cover RR. A dude called "Cooldown" do a very interesting attempt to build an only argie tech tree tank (it´s a weird one, but a tech tree at the end) but South America has some interesting prototypes and local variants of some tanks. Like brazilian´s M3 Stuarts, or M-50 Shermans with 60mm gun from Chile, and obviously the Nahuel DL-43 and Tam prototype/TH-301.

Although too modern for WG (they stopped at the Cold War), there is a very good Brazilian tank that was against the US M1 Abrams in a contest to provide tanks to some state in the Gulf. (I don't remember which one).
In fact, the Brazilian tank defeated the M1 in that contest. And it was the first tank made by the company. Shame to General Dynamics.😝

Type-71 in blitz is very op , E-100 upper plate and sides , small and very troll lower plate , very strong turret from both front and sides ,good gun with good handling and pen
, and either 6° of gun depression with slow turret traverse but almost medium speed or 10° of gun depression with quick turn rate and a avrage heavy speed

WOT is now going down the same path as WOWS, where they have to find a gimmick in order to release a new tech tree/line/tank. So the chances of WG just releasing pretty much a heavy tank version of T54/OBJ 140 line with no "special abilities" is pretty low.

It needs a Renault Ft17 variant in the early tiers, as we had them in our army.
Captured BT tanks are also legit early tiers also we captured a lot of T60 light tanks.
We also had many Renault R35 tanks before the war.
Starting with tier 3 or 4 we used Pz3 and Pz4, calling it T3 and T4 in our army.
Moving on we switch to Russian made tanks, so we got T34-85.
Upper tiers are full of T55 variants, from the Czech imports and later Romanian build variants.
We are missing some mid tier tanks as we had none. We moved from T34-85 to T55 variants.
The "Maresal" tank destroyer was a very small Hetzer type tank destroyer, had no turret and it was actually the design that inspired Hetzer. It used a Russian 76mm gun on a Russian T-60 chassis without turret and with a "turtle shape" armor.
We also have a "Marder" type of AT, using the same captured Russian 76 gun on the same captured Russian T60 chassis, with an open top style just like any other Marders. That was the TACAM 1. We also used the Czech Pz35 chassis on the same series and call it TACAM R-2.
So before the war started we got French R17, R35 tanks and Czech tanks, then we got German and Russian captured tanks with some Romanian made anti-tanks Marder and Hetzer style and later we got full Russian tanks from Russia, later Czechs and then Romanian build.
Without the mid-late tier tanks we cannot make a full line, and we had no late war medium and heavies except the T34-85 and that one is tier 6-7.

I still haven't seen the "new" map, so how is it that I should believe that they will make Caesar salad tanks? Roman, Caeser, get it? Bad dad joke yeah? 🤪
What I want is top-tier autocannons introduced, like 400 rounds rack, 0.3 - 0.5 sec reload, not the best aim and penetration and mediocre damage, but oh boy would it complicate life for EBRs, obvious bush campers and yolo rushers.

A Hungarian tech tree would be much better because it would have... you know... REAL TANKS! (Unlike this proposal, as Romania didn't really have actual tank designs, just imaginary proposals and sketches)

I would make the Romanian tree half RO-DE I-V and half RO-RU VI-IX, with X being purely RO tanks after ww2. Double trainable tree in two other factions would make it quite unique and fun tree to play. As a Romanian, even if I hate TDs in general, I think I'd buy ALL tanks and play them+garage spots to keep them. And that's smt Wargaming might think it's worth. I'm not the only one.
Hungarian tank tree: has several real, produced tanks for tier 1-8 that took part in actual battles, and some proposals for tier 9 and 10 like many other trees
Romanian tank tree: fake tanks, proposals, concepts, fictional tanks, a German tank, a Czech tank, and some late cold war MBTs

In Kenya, a student drew a tank on a napkin. 80 years ago. In retrospect, it could also have been an elephant. WOT turns this admittedly expressive drawing into an entire tech tree. Tanks from Kenya. The light tanks fast like cheetahs, the medium ones strong like lions, and the heavy ones oriented to rhinos and elephants. Crocodiles take the role of tank destroyer. Such artillery is still being tinkered with.

Since I'm Romanian, I could say it would be pretty much in line with the current state of the game to actually have the TR-77 with both flavours of engine power (580 and 800).
Actually TR-77 is just a copy of the T55 tank.
Then, at tier 9 you'll have the TR-85 and TR-85-M1 "Bizonul" at tier 10.
These last 3 were mass produced were/are in service and they all saw service.
What a joke! Not a single actual Romanian heavy tank! 5 tanks are fake/concepts (R-1, R-3, R-4, T-34-120, T-34-150), 3 tanks are late cold war tanks and not heavies (TR series), the R-2 is not a Romanian tank, it's a German Panzer 35 (t), and the VDC R-35 is a modified French R-35. Out of these 10 tanks only 1 is a real Romanian-ish tank that fits WoT's time frame (the VDC R-35).

will the romanian tanks have the special ability to switch sides if your team loses? it would be a historically accurate mechanics, with some unike gameplay for sure!
and at the same time they dont want to add hunagian tanks, "because they are soviet copies". actually, a hungarian medium tree could have domestic, WWII hungarian tanks up to tier 8, but noo, it is too much soviet xd
not like polish mediums/czech heavies are mostly soviet, noo, they are fine xd.
At least say the full story if you make jokes about history. Worth to start by mention also members from that alliance committed war crimes within other members from the alliance, like Hungary did it to Romanians people in Transylvania. Switching sides, it was not the only one who did it in that entire alliance, Italy, Bulgaria, entire alliance was falling apart. So, it is worth to mention why switch sides while Hungary is killing your own people and Russians at your dor. I assume you are from Hungary since you mention it, you could have also mention all this after all we took Budapest, again, Russians put the flags and took the credits, use 4'group as cannon meat balls but that's another story for another time. PS let history aside and let it be... you know how all this work + we are in 2022 and I want to believe that those nations are friendly now and let's keep straight to the topic. Hungary might have some tanks and Romania might have also and I am sure none of those tech trees it will come to the game.
