Great info. Overall, though it does come down to situational awareness and knowing when to move. I look forward to seeing more of these types of videos.
Good stuff on some games, but more beginner/early intermediate tips I'd say. Erlenberg game was a pretty rare situation. It might be useful late game though. The Ghost Town game was actually bad advice, in my experience at least. This early aggressive push will get you counter spotted (the enemy light was actually in position but must have had a sub par crew/load out) and your own allies will often not yet be in place to fire at those early spots.
Great video.the biggest thing to add to this is minimal awareness . I mean when your bushed up spend as much if not more time looking at the map as you do looking at the rest of your screen. And the sniper reticle has a rangefinder 40% camo and you will remain unspotted in the open at 340 ish meters or more. And with 50 you can be in the open on the move and remain unspoiled around 290 300 unless the enemy is using CVS in wich case well you will know it when you get detonated in .25 seconds by ten tanks all at the same time
In Prokhorovka I don't recommend going to the upper bushes, that is so super obvious that you are very likely to get spotted when you are trying to get there. It's safer bet to take the lower bushes a bit further away so you don't get spotted by the enemy light from the middle.
I nail enemy scouts going to those bushes almost every game starting in the south! Quite often they get killed too, so it's a hit of damage for me plus a decent bit of spotting!
Rhm at Erlenberg was "only" 10,6K, because you shot the track of the Bobject. I guess you all know that only higher number (spoting or tracking assist) will be calculated, combined with own shots, but never both. Good spots, by the way, I always trying to reach these ones. 😀 sometimes it is harder than you think. Next topic could be: how to deal with lights in city maps:D
It would be good if some of the replays were on less obvious spotting maps like Outpost or Fjords or something, those tend to be the maps I struggle on the most. Malinovka, Prokarovka and Syudzianski are pretty good and everyone always showcases these maps :)
On Malinowka the left side of the building where jgpanzer e100 camping is single bush if u take it with light u spot lights that try to go to the bush line also on prochorowka u can go a bit power and closer to northen base is couple of bushes with a tree in it if u wait here for a moment u will spot enemy light and than u can go a bit higher to single bush to spot enemys and if u stop spotting than go to the popular bush line as high as u can for better spotting view becouse bushes won't be in view line that much after spoting ther push in the bushes in the road
Once you learn how to link all the view ranges, you start to see where you are needed. Just about every game, regardless of map, tanks go to pretty much the same spots. You may have a flood on one flank or another, but the blind shots will still come from known positions. Allowing you're defense to these pushes will always remain with a scout lighting the blind flank to reduce crossfire from the enemy. One can guess where opponents go, knowing where the blind spots hides are is critical. Allow those on defense to see where they are getting shot from. They are lit, those shooting them are not. There is no 'spot' for a LT. They do not exist until they are needed. Meaning, the more 'spots' and terrain a LT driver knows, the more effective they will become. There is never, 'drive to this bush, it's the best spot'. Learn what needs to be lit, and when. Mini map will determine the best 'spot.' for you to be.
hey did you know u on the opposite side of the map u can actually spot all the crossers and the lights/med that sit on the windmill. by using a elc even 90? and its a very funny place to sit if u can get there before the rest of thier team around g8 a building with a bush next to it.
Thank for this explanation, Warning, don't start grinding the crappy German light tank with the deceptive name 'Rheinmetal Panzerwagen' or flip wagon. This tank is not good at anything, without camo you can't spot, if you shoot the grenades will ricochet, and it's made of tin.
maybe this is the right forum for this Q. ? When i am playing in a match and killed or just hit they seem to see me even i have not been spotted ¨no sound for being spotted¨ ? This happens more and more for the last 6 months to me at least . Before it was a shoot or two but not multiple shoot that will kill me . It has happen that they stop shooting when i am in cover and start shooting again after i get out to get a shoot away . Still without getting spotted ?! Are they cheating or is their a new thing that can silence the spotting alarm ?
A good player will blind shoot the position you were in last everytime their 6th sense goes off. They do not need to actually see you to know that you are there. If you get spotted assume that position is off limits and try to find a different angle
i dont know how you can go so far (like at prokorovka) without getting spottet not even when enemy light comes around a few metres....i have gas system and camo maxed and still get up by normal tanks. camo is around 41-42
I didn't like your video because you didn't talk about your click bait , I am talking the main picture on the video. misleading us to think there is a small non obvious bush for strong cammo.
Literally 99,99% of players know these positions for sure. This video is pointless.... Not even mentioning that you have to be so fuckin lucky to not to meet any countering light ....
So, you're saying that every light player is well experienced? It sure is funny when most of the light tank players I play against seem to be noobs and they could all benefit from this video!
If you pin this comment, everyone watching the video will have a lot of good luck!
you pinned this comment, and Julie came back to me and we’re getting married!
Great info. Overall, though it does come down to situational awareness and knowing when to move. I look forward to seeing more of these types of videos.
Thanks for sharing these tips. I will say the second game you very rarely get a chance to rush that middle trench without other tanks being in there.

Now I just need the teams you got there.
I mean like people that can actually hit something I spot. XD

I'll try make a guide for the more difficult ones
Studzianka i didn't know about that mid play. Yeah Outpost and Fjords are tricky, but they feel like they have big potential.
Awesome!! Been waiting for one of these position videos for a while. Glad the chad of yt comes in clutch!! 😂
He said "not well known positions"...
Fantastic video, just what I needed to be fair!! Often wondered about studzianki

Which Mod (and setting) do you use for the assist counter in the lower left of the screen? Nice spotting tips.
it's on the setting
It depends on the crew, bounty equipment, constant use of premium coffee, and internet connection
Plus being in a PLATOON, like in this video😂
i like how every game in video is blowout, enemy had 0% to win,mm is rly good😂
On Erlenberg, can tier6 light tanks do the same river bank "staggered raise" crawl? Just curious if the AMX12t can do it, or it will slide and drown.

Brilliant, thank you
Good info 👍
lol i like how the obj 268 hit your wheel with HE and it didnt do anything
Wow nice video
Great advice
How can i add the setting to see total damage in the lower left while battling? Ca someone tell me?
I tried studzianky position with ELC. 5k spot with only 2x td/team :) Enemy lights died so fast….
1:15 Also pro tip: make sure you're leaving the map at that size all the time.
Why?
*Sarcasm* :)
Like to see spotting in a lower tier battles as they don't have the optics to be op
It's not too different. The only problem is if you have light tanks with cvs vs light tanks without due to the matchmaker.

also im not driving
first position never go there as all light go there and u end up dying as there is no where to run, u just got lucky there
If you want I can record replays in 4K if you want and then send it to you
i dont like the first position cause if enemy light is smart hell spot you and you will die
I played the maps. You need to show maps clearly to understand locations.
The first one is nonsense. The opposite light tank will always go to exactly the same place and you will die instantly.
i knew them all
Giga
Showing a clown car for a scout guide,.....there needs to be a law against that.
Spotting is the biggest thing wrong with wot.
My best spotting was with k-91 and was 21000 damage
Camera too nervous, diff to watch
I stopped listening when he said 'you do have to rely on your team mates'. You just cant. And it's really not a team game.
too ordinary

@@justdoingitjim7095 man... These positions were absolutely the most obvious bushes you can ever find. Every battle someone goes there.
you are overestimating playerbase of this game
So why isn't the LT in the obvious bush on Malinovka blindfired dead 99.99% of the time?
Okay definitely not true. I’m sure the good, veteran players know some of these strategies but even they might now know all of them
All positions you said i use for years einstein
