I am sure that people in Central and South America would go bonkers. You could do multi-nation tank that is American to start. Just a suggestion as I sometimes play with people from south of the border and they have nothing to call their own.
The tech tree looks nice, its good to see new tanks which are historical... exept one thing, OAPR 98 the IX tier i think is the romanian version of soviet tank "2S1 Gvozdica" (google translate: "carnation") and its self propelled artillery, its main gun is a low velocity howitzer, i dont think it fit well into tree where on VIII and X tier there are some modern light tanks with high velocity guns.
The tier 8 and 10 are no light tanks, but TDs :) The tier 9 OAPR 89 is a hybrid of the Romanian MLI-84 and the Soviet Gvozdika, but is more similar to the Gvozdika.
@@davidl2684 if i would judge them by the looks only then sure, i would not mind. But it would bother me seeing Altillery piece in tech tree of tanks similiar to leopard 1. The gvosdika gun is a howitzer so if WG would make it "like real tank" it would have very slow ammo compared to 8,10 tiers. In real life its designed to shot HE not APDS/AP
I am very curious for the Swiss techtree. I remember (about 40 years ago) a train stationairy in a station in a small village in Wallis with about 12 dark grey TD's (Kanonnen Jagdpanzer?). It wasn't the G13.
Interesting food for thought. Although the combination of high camo, good mobility, good gun/accuracy and possibly an autoreloading systen seems rather difficult to balance. What would be the weakness? Low dpm, bad viewrange or bad soft stats? Could easily lead to a camping festival, if everybody starts playing them. But nonetheless, i also would welcome an romanian techtree. Definitly curious to see what's next.
Hey, Klaus. Obviously, the high tier autoloading/autoreloading TDs would somehow be balanced. They could have low DPM, low accuracy and bad softstats. Don't forget that they're paper-armored. :) -davidblader
Looking at those Romanian heavy tanks that you teased...initially I was surprised by you proposing the TR-77 line as heavy rather than medium tanks. I was thinking "aren't those basically just T-55s with a longer hull?" But then I looked it up, and while that's basically the origin of the project, it actually had some really serious frontal armor (200mm upper glacis and 320mm turret plus 20mm spaced). So yeah, despite being around the same size as a Patton, "heavy tank" makes sense.
Indeed, they could be classed as both heavies or meds, but I'd prefer them as heavies for multiple reasons. Anyway, I hope you like the tree overall :) -davidblader
@@davidl2684 That level of armor puts even the likes of Object 430U and E 50 M to shame, so if implemented as mediums they would almost certainly get nerfed compared to the historical values. Having them be heavies, with their gimmick being that they have excellent frontal armor (320 and 200 is good even by Tier 10 heavy standards), but a small gun and low alpha by top-tier heavy standards. The TR-77-800 would have by far the smallest gun and lowest alpha of all Tier 10 heavies, which makes it very distinct from every other heavy line.
@@RedXlV The historical hull armor (200 mm) would be nerfed to 100 mm on the tier 9 (TR-77-580) - well, that's not _completely_ unhistorical, since the hull armor was made out of two 100 mm plates, but the prototypes only had 100 mm and it was even considered controversial to mount the second plate on the mass-production variant. The tier 10 would get between 120 and 150 mm, depending on how the gun gets balanced.
@@davidl2684 Heavy tanks are my favorite class, so a heavy tank with great turret armor and a low alpha but high DPM gun sounds like a fun twist to me.
i want the romanian tanks now. they look really interesting i also want hungarian tanks, but they are less unique in my opinion. the hungarian line could also make a medium and a td line. but the hungarians can not even agree with what tanks to put in at tier 9 and 10 for the mediums. there is a group which say that only soviet copies can be possible, and there is a group who think, that there is a tank that can be split into two, which was found in the czechoslovakian archives. but even this tank found in the czechoslovak archives doesnt have a single name. someone, who made a 3 line hugarian tech tree named the tank prototype(s) projekt 88 and projekt 100, but at the bottom of the photo the paper, which is about this tank, the tank project was called 47m, but the date of the project is 1948. even the documents about this tank project are confused and also they dont know how to call tanks, that have been made up by pál korbuly, who made up a turret for the hungarian 44m tas and made up a td variant of also the 44m tas because of a simple misunderstanding: there were supposed to be two prototypes og the 44m tas, but each had different components, so pál korbuly thought, that one of them must be a td. and there is not even a single variant of his made up tas tank destroyer, there are three actually, but only because one guy, who drew pál korbuly's tas dank destroyer from the side, and then another guy derw it aswell, but didnt know how the original one looked, so he made up the part around the gun, which is the most popularly known variant of the tas rohamlöveg in conclusion: a hungarian tech tree is not posssible, because the hungarians who really want a hungarian tech tree cant even decide which tanks to put in and how to call them. this is why i think a hungarian line will never be possible
I do agree that the Romanian tree is more unique than the Hungarian one (and also has less problems than it), but I hope to see them both at some point. The more tanks, the better. Hope to also see the Swiss, Yugoslavs, etc.
If they gonna give the t10 auto(re)loader then I wish they also give the grille15 a 128mm option with 2 shell autoloader magazine. The 15cm can still be a single shot.
you mean "want"? :D Yeah, hopefully Romanian tanks come as soon as possible. But first, they'll add new Czechoslovak and British vehicles, followed by the Swiss tree. -davidblader
Hmm... of course, this line comes up with authentic vehicles, that existed or were at first/ second model out of the production line when Romania switched sides in Aug '44. In my opinion, Wargaming blatantly disconsidered the Romanian lines potential in the game, from various reasons, political not the least. Romania's role during WW2 was not dear to the Russians, even after the allegiance switch, USSR treated Romania not as a new ally, but like a fully defeated, occupied country. The Maresal prototype, that barely exited its production stage, as well as the whole factory where it was produced, were wholy, gradually dismantled by the Soviets and sent to the USSR, never to be seen or heard of again. The proposed line is interesting at least, tier 8-10 being of course Soviet tanks or own models developed during Socialist Romania, nonetheless quite competitive throughout the Warsaw Pact countries at that time. Good video!
For the medium line, if you intend to create a video, i would suggest the PZ IV ausf. H, as we had quite a large number from before Aug 44, and the Panther A or D model, as after the war, the Soviets borrowed us some captured Panthers of their own, which remained operational until 1952-53 when they were scrapped, only to be replaced by the infamous T-34-85 for the rest of the fifities.
@@stahl981 Thanks Stahl! Tier 8-10 tanks aren't Soviet; the TAA and MLI-100 are original designs, while the OAPR 89 might be somewhat Soviet, being a hybrid of the Romanian MLI-84 and the Soviet 2S1 Gvozdika (more similar to the latter), but the Gvozdika isn't even in the game. For the MT/HT line, the TR tanks are pretty much combinations of Western and Soviet tanks, which lead to a new unique design. I don't think anyone would want Panthers or Pz IVs in the RO tree, since they're clones. -davidblader
@@davidl2684 i know, but we actually employed them during and after the war. It's viable because they are still very enjoyable tanks, even if nowadays they are present on so many branches of the game. Of course, i will salute any other option, it was just my 2 cents :)

@@0303ewan The Swiss Hetzer (called G-13) is interesting, it's at tier 5 and features an autoloader. Also, thanks again :)
😲👍👌Nice
Big like
Thanks Elias :)

Yo may you send me your ingame name dude. You where lucky enough to win in my Giveaway :)
@@RagingRaptor I was? I had no idea. It is danam0228
@@RagingRaptor Thank you!
@@davidl2684 You're welcome, maybe you can work on a Central or Southern American tech tree in near future after working on RRs request.
The tier 8 and 10 are no light tanks, but TDs :)
The tier 9 OAPR 89 is a hybrid of the Romanian MLI-84 and the Soviet Gvozdika, but is more similar to the Gvozdika.
Clarification: No i dont call them light tanks as the class in world of tanks term.
@@TKScreamer oh, I see. Well, they're all still very similar. All 3 of them reach about 65 km/h
@@davidl2684 in other words gvosdika have "derp gun" even if its only 122mm
good ideea
-davidblader
I like it minus the more modern tanks. Tier 10 to is very interesting.
Orzanel would love it
Bravo
Anyway, I hope you like the tree overall :)
-davidblader
@@RedXlV I'm happy to hear that :)
That's the plan - to add new high tier heavies that are unique in a way (that being low alpha damage, in this case)
i want the romanian tanks now. they look really interesting
i also want hungarian tanks, but they are less unique in my opinion. the hungarian line could also make a medium and a td line. but the hungarians can not even agree with what tanks to put in at tier 9 and 10 for the mediums. there is a group which say that only soviet copies can be possible, and there is a group who think, that there is a tank that can be split into two, which was found in the czechoslovakian archives. but even this tank found in the czechoslovak archives doesnt have a single name. someone, who made a 3 line hugarian tech tree named the tank prototype(s) projekt 88 and projekt 100, but at the bottom of the photo the paper, which is about this tank, the tank project was called 47m, but the date of the project is 1948. even the documents about this tank project are confused
and also they dont know how to call tanks, that have been made up by pál korbuly, who made up a turret for the hungarian 44m tas and made up a td variant of also the 44m tas because of a simple misunderstanding: there were supposed to be two prototypes og the 44m tas, but each had different components, so pál korbuly thought, that one of them must be a td. and there is not even a single variant of his made up tas tank destroyer, there are three actually, but only because one guy, who drew pál korbuly's tas dank destroyer from the side, and then another guy derw it aswell, but didnt know how the original one looked, so he made up the part around the gun, which is the most popularly known variant of the tas rohamlöveg
in conclusion: a hungarian tech tree is not posssible, because the hungarians who really want a hungarian tech tree cant even decide which tanks to put in and how to call them. this is why i think a hungarian line will never be possible
I want it so bad
Best case scenario next year because Czech heavies comes around summer
you mean "want"? :D
Yeah, hopefully Romanian tanks come as soon as possible.
