Agree. This bike rides way better than it's spec and even it's looks. Heaps of go and a great howl when you get the revs up and handles well. A very well rounded bike. Suprising agile, given its weight. It feels much lighter than it is. The only downside in my mind is the wind. I think it's horrible, even for a naked. A design flaw. But easily fixed with a little Givi screen. And the GSX S750 is really cheap where I live. 32 more Bhp than the new GSX 8S twin 750. The twin will be more punchy down low but fades just when the GSX S is starting to hit its straps.

@@anxiousappliance Cool. Can't argue with you, I have only tested the bike. Rode it very close to a Z900 and Street Triple. Both had less wind or smoother. On the GSX at 130kph the wind hooked under my helmet. Was unpleasant. The Tuono 660 was smoother still which is what you would expect. But hey, they are selling these the GSX new very cheap where I live. The Tuono 660 discounted is 50% more. Same for the Street Triple and Z900SE. They are not 50% more bike or fun...

@@@paulconnell1309 Yeah Helmets are huge variable - one can be great on one bike, and be terrible on another.

i almost bought an MT-07.. i was pretty disappointed with the suspension on it, but overall i did like the feel of the bike.. then i saw this bike.. ive owned a 600RR, 1000RR and a GSXR1000.. i really dont like the size of suzuki's. they aways seem bulky for no reason, so i was hesitant on this. it is a bit bigger and heavier than the Yamaha in its class, but i dont even notice it like i could compared to my 1000RR and GSXR1000. Ive never been happier than i am with this bike. so fun.

Each to their own i suppose. I own a gsxs750 and i love it. My previous bike was an mt09. Ive also owned a z900rs and a cb650f. All good bikes but i like the gsx the most. A quickshifter is a needless gimmick. Again, its about whatever youre happy with

Just picked up a 2022 and love it. Dont have a ton of experience (my 2nd bike) but the biggest complaint seems to be that it does everything good but nothing is great and they break down specs and components to tear it down but this bike is better than the stats and the sum of its parts

Just want to say I used to have a z900 as well and after a catalog of other bikes I have a gsxs 750 now. I definitely agree with your review and find it funny how poorly the general moto critics reviews are of this bike. I think I read something about "meat and potatoes" riders loving this bike. I guess thats me. Straight up classic bike with a great motor, solid suspension and good looks. If you love to ride and don't need a bunch of fancy tech to do it with you can send this thing all day long and have a blast. Cheers

Hi, could you please explain the engine characteristics between the two, I own a Duke 390 right now and looking to upgrade between the gsx s 750 and z900. I just love my Duke 390, it's got decent low end grunt but the real fun is up above 5k rpm. I always like to chase the rev limiter. Want to know which engine would suit my taste.
      Thanks!

Nice review. I really like this bike too & it's a hugely underrated good, fun, cheap & honest analogue middleweight naked. It's not even close to being the best in class but it doesn't pretend to be & gives great bang for your buck. The motorcycle journos get to ride all the latest & greatest bikes for free each week so they're not going to look twice at something like this. As bikes get more advanced & expensive they become less & less relevant to me as do the journalist reviews tbh.

@jondotcom8706 number one issue, the app for the bike doesn't work. No navigation, etc. It just does not connect to my phone( most times). The rear brakes suck balls. The headlights are shit.( I live out in the country. The roads are very dark at night). The bike runs very hot. The fans kick on around 217f. If you are moving at highway seeds, no problem. But if you get in traffic it will get very warm, not over heat(yet) but it runs around 220 degrees.
Has other minor issues, but it is a great bike over all.

Quickshifter is useful when you go circuit racing or drag racing. For daily riding, why is the rush when most of the time within speed limit. Controlling gear changing is part of the fun riding a motorcycle, just like driving a stick shift car with clutch control technic.

Im a big fan of suzuki but there are just too many better speced bikes in this price range. Tech is decades old on this bike. I was at a local dealer in texas to see what kinda deal is offered on the left over 2023s and being its discontinued as well. Sales guy didnt discount these much at all, and said these will sell at MSRP like the R1 also being discontinued in Europe. I laughed 😂

I own that exact same bike(2022 GSX-S750 Z ABS), it's not a perfect bike,, it's good, almost great. it is a quick bike,, not the fastest out there but it doesn't take long to get up there. I weigh around 210lbs and I've had mine up to 126MPH. maxed out at 9K RPMs. YES it is throttled in the ECM. 4th thru 6th gears the ECM holds the bike back to 70% power. I pulled the secondary throttle valves out of the throttle body on mine.... no restrictions.. no more holding at 9K rpms
you are correct the factory TIRES suck balls. mine came with Bridgestone tires... I got about 3500 out of the rear,, the front is still good.
do I regret getting this bike??? NO, not by a long shot.. but I was happier with the 2020 Katana 1000 as far as power. I now have the 2023 GSX-S1000 GT Plus(and I still have the GSX-S750), big difference in the bikes.. in every way. had to trade the Katana in.. it had a bad clutch from the factory.. clutch went out at 75 miles on a new bike and Suzuki said '' 'fuck you' we don't cover clutches". so i traded that in for the 750. not happy at the time but it's been a good bike. it's damn sure NOT the katana.
I give my best advice to anyone who wants to buy the GSX-S750... SPEND THE EXTRA,,, GET THE GSX-S1000 GT. save some money and get the PLUS edition. the side bags cost $1500 if you get them separate. do NOT get the GSX-S1000. that a no go. it's cheaper for a reason.
I use the 750 as my main daily rider, back and forth to work, and use the GT for long weekend rides.
as far as 'worst reviewed bike', I havent seen a bad review on,, well any bike, on youtube. people are getting paid to give 'good' reviews. I want HONEST reviews,, from real people like yourself,, you seem to give an HONEST review of the bike. I know your review is honest,, I own one.

too much money for the gt I have a family and kids this bikes fast cheap and cheap on insurance. once you get bikes over 100 horrsepower power not really an issue. i would have been just as happy on the honda cb650f that makes like 85 hp.

also where did you find info that this bikes power is cut to 70% in the higher gears. I believe moore mafia did one of these and only got like 1 hp more peak power after a tune. not calling you out just curious where you got that figure at?

@@urbandualsport I believe it was a MOORE MAFIA video(maybe). I know for a FACT that my S750 will NOT rev higher than 9K in 4th, 5th, and 6th gears. I have pushed the shit out of it. now that I have removed the secondary throttle valves it will rev higher.
even the 2020 Katana 1000 was throttled in higher gears. the S1000 GT is also throttled in higher gears... you don't need have it flashed.. I had mine up to 118 in 4th NO PROBLEM. plenty to go. the Katana I had up to 126 in 4th( ran out of road).

@@urbandualsport i hear ya, the GT cost a little over $15,000. but, hey, what's a few extra payments.
the insurance isn't that bad. I pay about $200 per year for 3 bikes, a '94 Ducati Monster 900, the GSX-S750, and the GSX-S1000 GT.
I looked at the CB650, didn't like it. I did like the CBR1000 BLACK. but no one had any in stock. I was looking at a 2023 Monster when I found the GT. I made the right choice. the Monster was about $1000 less.

Suzuki released the bike on cold rainy say and the journos - despite their best intentions, might have had their enthusiasm dampened. Reviews since have been good to very good.
Unfortunately Suzuki let it languish. They could have raided the gixxus 1000 parts bin and upgraded the dash, leds etc.. but they didn't. I4s are hard to tune for euro 5 so they just let it go. It's only sold in the US now and the price is hard up against the like of the xsr900. A tough sell, and probably its last year.
Last of the I4 750s, and we get to enjoy it. Yes! A little sad, but that's life in the movies.
