My new Suzuki GSX S750 - TWEAKED GSX! S750

  • On 11th January 2024 I took delivery of my Suzuki GSX-S750. The delivery was of a different sought though, as I purchased my first used bike from interstate. It was delivered door to door to me in Brisbane, Australia. The transport went well, with no damage whatsoever. In the end I got delivered a bike that the engine is so new it still needs to be run in. The bike looks, feels, and even smells brand new (obviously!)
    The bike is a 2022 that wasn't sold at the dealership until October 2023. When the buyer rode it for 400km's he decided that it wasn't a good suit for him. So he listed it for sale, and I snapped it up for a great deal.
    On the same day that I organised the bike to be transported to me, I also sold TWEAKED REBEL. That bike is on its way to a new buyer in South Australia.
    In this video I welcome the bike to the channel and talk through the types of mods I plan to do over the next few months. I have to get a roadworthy certificate this week, so until then the mods won't begin. But if you like my uploads, you're in for a treat because there's a lot of mods to be installed to transform this bike to become a TWEAKED GSX.

    It is a sweet machine. Precise controls, great brakes, good suspension, and a wonderful engine.
    The Motozaa screen looks great and no wind whistle etc. that screens can create. I put GIVI hand guards on so can't really see the levers unless you're looking. Like to keep the wind off the mitts - they look pretty good. Got an R&G radiator guard - haven't put it on yet, but agree, it is a good idea.
    Yoshi with baffle: looks good sounds good. Mainly for the looks though, as the stock sounds good.
    LED light - easy 10 minute install - helps a lot.
    Led flasher lightbulbs with new flasher module to control the speed. Was going to put on new units, but I actually think the pumpkins match the styling. Go figure. Would like to get a module that uses the flashers as visibilty lights - haven't found one that works yet.
    Put on Skeene rear brake light/decel light. I think they help. Use it on my duc, but this doesn't have the massive engine braking so might not need decel.
    Put on Saddleman seat - better if not great, but better.
    Agree on gold forks, but ...
    Anyway - enjoy.

    I bought the very same bike in November last year. Very happy so far. It's quick, comfortable and handles really well. It's all you need for the public roads. Enjoy!

    Sad to see the rebel gone, but excited to see what you do with this one!! I'll most likely end up selling my rebel after another year or two to get something, was looking into the New Honda Hornets when they get released...can't wait for the new videos to start up! Congrats!

      Thanks Michael, I'm sad to see it go too. It's good of you to keep following, thankyou I appreciate that. The Hornet is a cool bike and I know that it's reliability will be a big winner across the world 👍

    I've got the 2019 variant of this bike in the Triton Blue with the black forks. Was set up as a tourer when i bought it. Have installed an Arrow shorty exhaust, sequential LED turn signals, LED main and parking bulbs, tail tidy, shorty adjustable levers, radiator cover and a k&n filter. It's an amazing bike, docile enough for Sydney traffic but with plenty of top end punch. More than enough for street use. Subscribed and keen to see how your project ends up.

    Hi could you perhaps link me to the H4 LED and 2 small led pack you mentioned?
    Thanks!
    PS I actually love your gold forks, wish we could trade 😂
    Also those ugly orange reflectors twist right off. Remove the hex bolt thingy afterwards, replace it with a small bolt and you can put a black plastic cap (the ones Puig always uses to cover bolts) on the hole to clean it up nicely 🎉

      Sorry I missed this comment. I did that on my old bike, but put them back on for insurance reasons. In my newer video i have the links for those parts. Webike Japan is amazing. Not sure if you're in the facebook groups but i have the release schedule for my videos to be released soon.

    Good bike... I'm on my second one... 30k miles on the first 2017 (non fault accident wrote the first one off)... 10k miles on second 2021... suggest led for headlight as heat from standard bulbs cracks the headlight lense. Had 3 replacement lenses on 2017 model.

    Oh man, I am going to follow in your footsteps :) I am a new rider at the age of 45 - I purchased a Honda Rebel 500 as a my first bike. At 5'3", great bike to learn the fundamentals of riding. I think I don't like the low seat height of cruisers - so something like Suzuki sv650 or the gsx-s750z. I want to ride higher and have a better view of traffic since I use my bike to commute to work.

      45 crew signing in I see 🤜🤛 Well I'll be 46 in a few weeks but I'm glad you're around mate. I'm probably 173 or so with boots on and I can't flat foot this bike. There is some adjustment available however I can't test it until I get the bike registered. Hopefully it's on the road this Monday then I can start modding it 👍I wish the z was still sold here, air could not find any examples other than a 2018 in the whole of Australia. Thanks for watching John much appreciated 👍

      @@TweakedGSX Happy Birthday brother! I wish the best for you and your family! Hey crazy question about the Rebel, did you ever look into ECU modding? Woolich Racing has a ton of ECU support for the Honda 500cc platform. I reached out to them for support on the Rebel and they said it could be done.

    • @JohnBhaktul
      @JohnBhaktul 6 місяців тому

      @@TweakedGSX I didn't see any figures on their website but in their FAQ, I found this - These can include parameters like fan activation temperature, RPM limiter, idle speeds as well as disable certain fault codes, deceleration fuel cut, and top speed limiters. Plus I think this would give us the ability to dyno the Rebel once we put a full exhaust on it. I am thinking about contacting Dave from Takumi for the Noy Custom 2-2 straight pipe exhaust.

    • @TweakedGSX
      @TweakedGSX  6 місяців тому +1

      @@JohnBhaktul ok that's all normal for aftermarket ECU 's but I don't think that engine has much more in it as the bore and stroke are not setup to rev high. I think it's best setup as a cruiser only and to look at another bike if you're after power. You may be able to have a couple of bikes then if the seat height is an issue

    • @TweakedGSX
      @TweakedGSX  6 місяців тому +1

      I agree, there isn't much content on this bike. There is only two current uploaders that I'm currently aware of but neither do in depth installs. I'm hoping to fill this void. This bike is now end of run so hoping that prices drop and people consider this as the next step from a learner bike as a solid all rounder.
