Plus 1 for the Crafter. We have travelled over 20,000km in our All Terrain Kampervan since February '23. Great way to travel and averaging 10.7 l/100km which I think is awsome for a van weighing over 3.5t.

Great wrap up Billy! We have a vw transporter camper and are looking at a Crafter as an upgrade for more room and longer trips on the road. Hopefully next year! Keep at it enjoying your vids always 👌🤙

Great video review - shame about the 100mm loss in height
Perhaps a future model might have a hybrid where electric motors power the rear wheel - then no need for a rear tail shaft and you get the extra height for van life 🤷
Also Seems unnecessary once suspension is lifted anyway.

I definitely need to get a compressor before I head off this Christmas for the beach trips that I’ve planned.
How good are these VW’s. I bought mine based off your vids and successful trips… yours has seen some very remote locations and still holding up incredibly well 👍🏼
Compressor is a game changer!
I luckily found my normal ARB air compressor wasn't up to the job of inflating to over 70psi. Bought a Bushranger max air II and it reinflates.the tyres very quickly without even getting hot. Has a useful gauge as well.
