There something just so wholesome about VW busses, I remember a friend of my fathers had a candy apple red one that he restored and it was just this beautiful fun vehicle that you couldn’t hate.
It’s beautiful, most ppl collect older muscle and sport cars and here fluffy collecting old vw vans and making them look and fit perfectly with everything
I grew up in the 60's and 70's and remember the air cooled VW's really well. In the early 60's one of my neighbors drove nothing but VWs. They always had a bug or two but eventually got a bus. I know they even had a few of the square back VWs in the 70's. Close to where I grew up, in the later 60's, there was an old gas station that was opened up for service only. They started converting VW bugs into dune buggies, amazing since I live in Wisconsin and we don't have an sand dunes! Still can remember seeing them roll the cars onto their one side (don't remember which but was the side that the oil wouldn't come draining out when you did that). Then watched them place the fiberglass dune buggy bodies on. Got to ride in a few, they really were slow. But I understand Gabriel's obsession with them and him living in SoCal the cars out there are a lot cleaner than where I live. Rust took most of them out.
Thank you so much for your love and dedication of VW Buses. I grew up in them. VW Buses have been in my family since 1960. I sold our last one, (a 1976 orange camper, the Pumpkin) in 2008. That was a sad day. You have the most beautiful collection, thank you.
Its Nice to see Someone like Fluffy enjoy his Amazing Collection of Volkswagens.. I wouldn't mind Owning a Bus One Day. I Own 2 Beetles and whenever i drive them, people go crazy waving and Honking their horns.. I never been to California, but would love to Vist and meet Gabriel one day..
My Goodness I love your collection, I have had a few VWs through the years, I had a station wagon, a diesel rabbit, 72 bay window (my favorite) a dune buggy, and enjoyed them all I wish I had a bus now😊
I like the non-split (bay) windshield. Thanx for the tour of your collection of VW buses, Gabriel! I love all the different colors and the luggage racks.
My first car was a 68 bay window. My friends and I had too much fun in high school in that van. A few years back, I decided I would be willing to pay up to 60K for a 21 window, which is my fantasy car. I was totally floored at both the price, and that there were other people that loved this van.
The VW Bus has always been my favorite vehicle. Never had one though. But I did have two '63 Bugs and one Phaeton. That Phaeton passed BMW's like they were standing still on the freeway.
@@jamiedavidson3811 In Germany, it was actually called a Microbus by Volkswagen. In the United States it was commonly called a VW Bus, even though technically, it isn't large enough to be a bus, only a microbus. I hope that explains the whole thing.
My better half Brian and I are a big fan of your comedy and VW collections! His dream is to have 1 VW but in his driveway one day. He even got VW bus tattooed on him. Our next dream is to come to visit your collection in California and see him smile!
A really cool collection. Love the posters, and the Medellin poster is particularly humorous. He seems like a really nice guy, and i am glad he has been so successful.
OMG!! My first vehicle was a Red over white '67 split window camper Volkswagen bus!! I loved that car!!! I would do anything to be able to find it and own it again!!
I'm really jealous of his collection, i told myself that if I hit the EuroMillions jackpot I would probably spend a few million on a collection of Volkswagen Buses, they are part of humanity heritage now. These vehicles have a huge love rating with people and I'm sure gatherings in the south-west of France on our beaches will make people happy to visit them. This is done a lot in California and for me the department of Gironde, Landess and Pyrénnées-Atlantique lends itself very well to this, which is why we love to call this region the little French California
My first car was a 1974 VW bug. I did not fall in love with this car, because I bought the car for the chassis and engine. Even in high school I designed vehicles to get the best aerodynamic flow. My senior year, I designed a car that changed it's shape depending on the air around it. There was a computer that told you what was wrong with your car. It would show you where on the car and how to repair it yourself. It also would tell you the price of the part you need and where to pick it up. This was in the early 90's. We didn't have internet as you all know it.
Oh dude fluffy knows everything about those. Vans, we did that human America 2, they used to take a Dodge panel van, chop it in half and take the back end of a Chevy panel van throw some dewdrop Moon windows on the back, and go to town on combining two different bvqns together that's awesome!!
Gabriel, You have one sweet VW collection there. I had only two. One was a 68 VW Fastback that was painted dark red then a 68 VW Bus with the bay window. That was painted orange on the bottom and a cream color on top. I wish that I still had them. Deborah
One day I want Lotus Elise. I like how they feel like Go-Kart. Super low to the ground. I like driving like that. They also super luxury for the price. Can’t knock a man’s hustle. Cool to see this Volkswagen collection
I remember he was talking about collecting VW's on Logan Paul's podcast and for whatever reason in my head I pictured VW Bugs and that was an hilarious picture 🤣🤣🤣
Anyone know what will become of this collection and museum, as well as Jay Leno's garage, after both are gone? I assume they have some sort of transition plan other than to sell. Will they keep the collections intact or gift to other collectors or museums?
If they make another Cars movie, Fluffy should voice a VW Bus
Filmore was a split window, Fluffy could be a Bay Window or something!
This fax
He could be Fillmores cousin.😅
I had a cat named Filmore. I named him after the venue not the movie character though.
It was really cool seeing fluffy talking seriously about his passion. He always so goofy.

VW busses always make me smile, not just seeing one in person, just even imagining it in my head.
Dude, I would get lost just looking around in that place. I could just marvel at his collection for hours.
Hour and a half tops all the same busses 🚌
The greatest collection of VW buses I've ever seen. Thank you...
He's spot on about the brand association, every time I see a VW bus or if someone talks about one I think about him and his collection.
everything about fluffy is wholesome
My grandfather owned and ran a VW repair shop in Chino for 25+ years (sold in ‘89) Always been a VW girl, my whole life, your collection is amazing.
This is officially my new favorite video on UA-cam, very wholesome watching fluff explain his vw busses
What an awesome collection and you’re true to the VW buses! I loved this video!!!
His jay Leno impression was spot on
One of the few celebrities that’s probably genuinely down to earth, happy for him
It’s beautiful, most ppl collect older muscle and sport cars and here fluffy collecting old vw vans and making them look and fit perfectly with everything
As a fellow vintage VW owner for many years, I wholeheartedly approve of Mr. Iglesias' Type 2 museum. What an awesome display! 🥰
The paint on all of these is immaculate. Very pretty color schemes

I'd be the happiest man with only one of these 🥺
I just bought a 1966 Bus and the best part about driving it is the smiles it puts on everyone’s faces. Save up and find one nearby!
I love those old vans they have so much character I wish I could see this collection in person some day !
It would be nice to cruise up to big bear with fluffy….laughing the whole way up there 😂
Man that's a crazy beautiful collection right there. If I had the money I'd get one nice bus man, hopefully I can win the lotto one day haha...
reminds me of driving down the PCH in a 1964 split window bus packed with people & everyone having big smiles.
Living that life the best way he can! I concur with his love of VW Buses. He keeps a good group of people employed with his "museum"
I remember this man on equals 3 with Ray William Johnson
Man, you're going WAY back for that one!! Is that all you've seen him in? If so you've missed out! He's hilarious!
WOW thats the day I fell in love with him.
I forgot all about RWJ & =3. What’s that hobbit up too these days?

Such a beautiful collection, I hope you be able to this one day. Would also be an honor to meet fluffy himself.
Always love rewatching this one! Only issue is they labeled one as a 19 window but those didn’t exist.
“That’s the Mexican in me” 😂😂🐐
