    Hi my friend Lui, I have copied down each of these and will make them soon. They look so lovely. I have previously made the Naked & Famous and yes, it was delicious. Keep safe and well Lui and I hope your restaurant trades well when all restrictions ease.

      Thank you Nick! I really appreciate the well wishes. Things have been getting better slowly but surely. Seems like we made it through the worst of it. Only way to go is up! 😁

    Great video - can't wait to try these!
    How long do you suggest to stir or shake?

    • @Lui_Fern
      @Lui_Fern  2 роки тому +1

      That's a great question! Just long enough to properly dilute the cocktail. When stirring, taste the cocktail
      When shaking it's usually when the Tin Starts to frost up you know it's probably chilled and diluted enough

    I think Mezcal is the big brother or cousin since it was created before tequila unless I got my facts wrong. But at the end of the day I’m going to drink both of the with these cocktails you showed me . I appreciate you 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿

    Greate recipes Lui Fernandes , thanks for teaching them. 🙂 What can be a replacement for Yellow Chartreuse in the Naked & Famous? A Cynar? A homemade limoncello? A Braulio or any other herbal/bitter amaro from the Mediterranean?

    • @Lui_Fern
      @Lui_Fern  2 роки тому

      Hmmmmm I'm not sure. Yellow Chartreuse has such a unique and specific flavor, i think anything you swap in will alter the flavor hugely. I've never tried another bitter/amaro in there. If you do try it let me know what you think!!
      Also I'm so happy you enjoyed this video 😁

    • @RecoveringSpartan
      @RecoveringSpartan Рік тому

      Was going to ask the same since Chartreuse is so hard to find these days. Would not be surprised if you need 2 or more ingredients to try to replace the Chartreuse

      @cavalier9915 Рік тому

      I've been making mine with Benedictine, since I can't find Chartreuse. It actually works really well!!

      N&M (and the Division Bell) are my go-to mezcal cocktails for people who've never had a mezcal one. But for someone who likes stuff like Eeyore's Requiem, the OtC looks great.
