Yes that is definitely a Stoat! You can identify by the long tail and black tip. A weasel looks very much alike but with a shorter tail and all brown. I saw a few near my fishing spots, cute little guys!!
That's pretty crazy! Closest I had to that happening was a prairie dog that climbed up a huge flight of stairs at the our old townhouse, and scared the living daylights out of me. I really didn't expect an animal to be out there when I came out the door🤣
That's a stoat we have similar one up here! They love hunting the snowshoe Hairs! Thanks for sharing your video! Cheers, Kimmers and Jerbs #22ADAY I'll never quit quitting 👍🏻🇺🇸🔥🔪🔥🇨🇦👍🏻
Technically in the weasel family, but it's specifically an ermine or a stoat. At least that's what my hunting buddy said. I've only seen 2 ever, so right place, right time kind of deal.

Cool
Quick little fella ! Pretty cool to see him in action
Little guy playing hide and seek!!! Really cool brother!!! Thanks for sharing brother
Thanks Patrick!
And as winter approaches the ermine will turn completely white except for the black tipped tail. Cool capturing him on video.
Don't guess I've ever seen one of those. Cool little creature!
I've seen a stoat only 1 or 2 times. Neat little guys
What a neat little creature! That’s awesome you were able to get some video of it, thanks for sharing!
Always a pleasure to see and share something out of the ordinary. Thank you!
Such an awesome animal. I saw one of these stoats take down a rabbit in another video on here a couple years ago. Amazing footage!
Awesome Video these Little Animals are very fast thanks for sharing
Very cool catching that out in the wild! Very nicely done 😊
Yes, he was very curious why we were on his turf😁
Nervous little guy, but very cute. Great footage!
Thank you Larry!
Sweet footage! I see mink all the time, but I don't think I have seen a Stoat in the wild before!
First one I saw, I also saw a porcupine and a pine marten the same day. I was deer hunting and found every other animal in the wild that day🤣
Love it. I actually had one (Wild) come into my home and watch TV with the kids and I. Had to extract him though due to concerns of harming my kids

Beautiful animal.
How's the fishing been?
@@JumbleTronChannel great, a lot of water and cool weather. Gonna be an excellent season. Soon I will upload a video from some lakes in Patagonia.
@@oldsmugglerflyfishing I'm excited to see 👍
Very cool! Apparently a very hyperactive animal... That guy is worse than me after a cup of coffee!!!
It's probably how they survive. They don't sit still!
I would have said weasel too. Great video !
I did the best I could. They are so jumpy and fast!
awesome vid man! so cool to capture this moment with this cute little stoat!
Always fun to see rare critters 😁
Pretty cool, I've only ever gotten 2 still pics on my cameras of one, definitely kinda rare to see I would say, great footage! 👍
Both I've seen were in the same general area. Must be a healthy population or something. Thanks 👍
That is an awesome encounter. I actually saw one in New Jersey this past July.
Now that is cool!
So cute 😊 awesome video 👍
Nature and all its critters fascinate me. Thanks for watching!
@@JumbleTronChannel I'm with you on that my Friend 🙂

Guessing we got similar little critters given the similar big critters!
Looks like a weasel, what is it? Our wildlife department says we have weasels here but I've never seen one, I think it would be cool to.

I was surprised that he stayed around to play peekaboo with you. Must have been his home or protecting something.
You're probably correct. It was a very rocky place with lots of hiding places!
