- Besides Malenia, a lot of people mention the Fire Giant in Elden Ring. If I remember right, I saw a lot of people having problems with the Fire Giant as well? Lets see how hard it is

Afro, did you know you can pick up the boss weapons at the Roundtable Hold? You can get Melania's sword, with the Waterfowl Dance skill.
Use the remembrances and duplicate them at mausoleums for ng+ I have 2 hands of malenia!

Since he’s immune to his build he’s gonna have a harder time than Malenia.
I didn't enjoy any part of Radagon and Elden Beast fight and I was duel wielding katanas, whereas for Malenia I felt like I could learn all the shit and give it a good go constantly, I just hate that everything Radagon does is AOE bs
He's too soft unfortunately. Radagon has like 10k, as opposed to only one phase of Malenia having 17k, Afro will probably just overpower him.
That final fight made appreciate my weird ass build because while i usually use a bleed build i could always dual wield greatswords when bleed doesn't work
@@junkolover9518 Don't spread false info. Check the wiki. Radagon has 13k vs Malenia's 18k but he has higher defence than her and immune to bleed. Radagon is immune to bleed and Elden Beast is immune to both bleed/frost and combined (13k+22k=35k) has higher Hp than both phases of Malenia (18k + 0.8*18k = 33k). Afro is going to have a hard time if he keeps his current build.
If he has a frostbite build, it does really good damage against Radagon. Since he's stone, the whips add to that damage. With the katanas it does good damage as well. Against the Elden beast, maliketh's black blade or black flame does alot of damage. Other than that, it'll take a while to take the Elden beast down.
The fire giant absolutely beat my ass. That man was bullying me for a few days. He was the boss fight that finally made me REALLY level up my vigor
He's a genuinely terribly designed boss fight, very artificially difficult. He battered me from pillar to post for days and even when I killed him it just felt like I got lucky
He does so much damage and if he hits mess up even once it's over which is annoying. The camera is what makes it far harder.

That mf took me about 60 attempts. I beat Malenia in like 5 or 6. Idk why I had so many issues with the fire giant.

melina didn’t have to die, you could burn the tree yourself by accepting the flame from the two fingers, then reversing the flame (so you don’t get the bad ending) with Malenias needle at the dragon boss fight at the area in the end of the video. rip melina.
It dosent really matter since Melina is a fragment of Ranni so as long as you get the age of stars ending you still technically end up with Melina
Eh. I did frenzied flame path and got it cured, but Melina doesn't react in anyway, so it makes curing it pointless imo. Might as well go all in or just do what Afros doing.

Well, doing the quest line to cure the frenzied flame nets an ancient somber dragon smiting stone at the end, so I guess it's not totally worthless?

@@dillonhall824 You get the Ancient Somber Dragon Smithing Stone regardless of if you use the needle in Plasidusax's arena or not, so there's really no reason not to go Lord of Frenzy ending if you already accepted the Flame from the Three Fingers.
I saw those runes at 9:39. Mans really went and jumped into the giant bowl and died. Don't worry, we all did it at least once.

I was confused as Afro when she burned the ertree and I was teleported to another map, all I was thinking was wtf. Then I did some research and I watched it happen all again in this video, I am actually sad about the whole story.
The frenzied flame quest allows you to spare her and use yourself as kindling. But even if you reverse the effects afterwards to not get the frenzied flame ending she does not return. Only part of the game i felt cheated in.
the same happened to me man, I wanted to see this cutscene but I was dumb enough to get the frenzied flame beforehand rather than afterwards
I mean you do betray her and say girl f' you and your goals. She's mad af. You undo the grasp of the three fingers, you don't press a reset button on the rest of the story

After Afro conqueri the Demon that would haunt him in his sleep for days nonstop. He decides to take the relaxing approach and starts helping other tarnished as they struggled with some bosses. First being tech who was fighting that loser Morgott. While that was fun and all Afro wanted to help others become Him like our hero. So he decides to beat maleina's ass therapeutically, some couldn't get the job done, some died at the start of the 2nd phase but ultimately one did kill her with afros help. Now our hero continues his own journey. Will Afro listen the crazy man, telling him to burn the ertree down through different methods? What is this place that Afro travels in? And most importantly is there any maidens around? Next time on..

To explain what's happening with the Fire giant.
Notice how his arms and his left leg look injured?
Those are burn injuries and are supposed to be his weak spot.
If you hit those weak spots he takes a lot of damage. Don't hit those weak spots and he can tank almost anything.
On his first phase you attack his left leg, breaking the cast and his leg. Fire giant physically removes weak point entirely. The determination to stop you opens his third eye.
Now you need to focus on hitting his hands when he is down.
This is why you can only target lock on the hands, left foot, and his main eye ball
Or be like me and use a great hammer with wild strikes to DPS him down lol.

@@pascal_case To be fair the damage output against this guy seems pretty depending on the build, my build definitely was chunking away his health significantly more against his weak points but maybe other builds aren’t as effective
I’m curious to see how this will go because the Fire Giant seems to be one of those FromSoftware bosses whose difficulty changes depending on the player.
Seriously. My first playthrough, I feel like I only beat him because something twigged out with his health bar, and he didn't start his second phase until he was down to something like 30% health, leaving it feeling more like clean up than the absolute struggle I had been having before.

That’s for all bosses, I beat fire giant and Godfrey first try and a lot of people struggle with them, same with me finding malenia kinda ez
Yeah, I beat Godskin Duo 2nd try and Fire Giant 4th try, but Malenia took me 116 attempts and the final boss took me 33 attempts. Personal playstyle, order of progression, and build make such a massive difference in this game.
You can save Melina by getting the frenzied flame and burning the tree yourself, then using the needle from Malenia to rid yourself of the frenzy flame this saving Melina and getting your own ending of choice

This boss took me a week. I did fias and rannis quests before finally being able to kill it.
I did him with Alexander the jar summon and my mimic summon and beat him ez

Hey Afro, the issues you’re having with bleed are due to the affinity on your weapons. One is frost and one is occult. If you change them to blood, they’ll get higher blood build-up based on your arcane stat and you’ll get bleed on enemies way more often.
I actually watched Nokokopuffs do this boss live. It was hilarious and was waiting for Afro to get to this point.

The whips can carry you until the last two bosses in general, especially since they deal strike damage, and most enemies that resist other physical damages are weak to strike.
*Uses the weapons with the lowest bleed buildup* "YO WHY DON'T I DO ANY BLEED"

With her gone, he misses her, to the point he helps others fight her because he secretly loves fighting her. Now when he is scared, he thinks of her, and we are to assume it's PTSD but how he said it ... can also be how the protagonist calls out to their lover in an anime shojin lmao.

As a colossal sword strength build, the Fire Giant brought me to the brink of madness. Cause my friends kept disconnecting so it has an insane amount more health. And I kept having to fight it alone.
It's easier to fight it on horseback if your using colossal weapons

Use mogha lord of blood spear and max it out it’s so overpowered it’s able to do both bleed and fire damage and with the right charms it can restore a lot of your health I think try it
In the lore. It’s hinted at that the tree is actually a type of parasite that grew over the lands that existed before. So burning it down is actually a good thing. In a way.

I’m not a pro, but I’m curious why everyone said fire giant was hard. He was easy for me compared to other late game bosses like Maliketh
Some people find dodging slower bigger attacks harder than fast instantaneous attacks
It's not so much he's hard, his fire attacks can 1-2 shot you no matter your health, if you're not equipped for it.

See this part gets me, cause my version of Afro's experience with Malenia was the Godskin Duo he's about to fight. With a pure solo melee, no summon build, i suffered to the point of feeling broken in a way none of the other From Software games have affected me. Yet I just know Afro is gonna breeze mass Godskin Duo and all it's bullshit, so I don't know how I'm gonna feel watching the next episode tomorrow lol.
I think he will have some struggles with Godskin Duo. If he is still dying against Astel, I don't see how he will just breeze past them.

We have seen him fight them individually and struggle in recent episodes and he won’t summon so I doubt it’s a breeze against both of them especially when they hit phase 2 and he realizes they respawn after death

I recommend continuing the game without bloodhound step, makes the next parts more engaging and challenging. Maybe except for the Duo though.

In the last episode shabriri told you that she would die if you continue and if you didnt want that you had to find the 3 fingers in the capital sewers but you chose to simply kill him and with that killing melania and with it the coolest ending.
