"If you're watching this video you're... Thinking of getting one" me: She's talking to meeeee! Thank you for this video. I'll be getting mine this week!
I really want a parakeet but my parents won't let me..but I will get one!! ;D This was very helpful and I will show this to my parents.. How should i persuade them..? Thanks
Anezka Liskova Glad you like the video! Well, I am not sure about persuading your parents, but if you can do lots of research on budgies and prove that you are prepared for a bird, have plenty of time for one and are responsible enough to care for a budgie (they do take a good bit of care), then I would think your parents would be impressed! Good luck.
I persuaded my mom into letting me get my own cockatiel by paying for everything myself. Have you gotten yours yet? Your comment was 2 years ago so just wondering
My friend Talia has two budgies and she lets me kind of take care of them every time I come over she has a lot of pets like dogs goldfish and dogs! This is very helpful sense I am thinking of getting a budgie and bonus, this video!
I absolutely love this video! I am actually getting one this afternoon so I'll be watching these videos for a while since I'm a newbie🤗Thank you for putting this video up! It is so useful💖
Bro first i was reseraching for a dog and i might get it after the coronavirus kinda goes away and then i researched for a bunny and we were also gonna get one but they ran out so instead we got a guinea pig and I love it and when i was scrolling thought tik tok i found a very beutiful parakeet and i decided to research for them and it brought me here 😂👉🏻👈🏻
I saw that a parakeet can get startled by loud noises and i am thinking of getting one and my question is. I sleep with a fan its always on low would that have an effect
+GamingPanda27 Someplace slightly quiet, away from where other pets can get to the birds. Also, since parrots can be sensitive to fumes (like teflon and cleaning agents) a place near the kitchen or bathroom might not be a good choice. You do want your bird(s) to be somewhere that allows them to see you, at least for part of each day.
want them in a room where the action is and where they can see you a lot of the time. They'd get bored and lonely in a room where you're not in as much, like a bedroom.
Thank you so much! I was worried about what type of water buddies drink and it turns out that they can drink tap water!😊😉 Btw I'm getting a budgie about half a year.🥺😩☺️😆
Hello, can you make a video on other basic parakeet care? such as: When to refill its food bowl, when you can let your parakeet out of its cage and let it fly around and for how many hours, so other basic care, for the parakeet in the house.
Laura Boderke you should get your bird out of the cage as much as possible. Birds need to be out of the cage most of the day to get enough enrichment, mental and physical stimulation and exercise.
Avoid toxic foods. If you give them apples make sure there's no seeds. Apple seeds are toxic; anything with cyanide which also includes cherry seeds. Probably already know to stay away from avocados, caffeine, salty foods aswell. Make sure to keep toxic fumes away from it. Includes air freshener, cleaners, perfumes, paint fumes, ect.use a natural biodegradable cleaner or ones advertised in stores meant to clean cages. If you have non stick pans keep birds away from the fumes when cooking or throw it away. There's a certain temperature to where a chemical is released from those pans which will kill them
I’m getting one tomorrow but I did some research and it said that you should have mirrors as your budgie can get attached to its reflection and not want to hang out with you anymore, so just a heads up... but I’m so Subscribing, I really want to learn more
No Christiaan, they typically don't (unless you are up late and making a lot of noise, in which case they may try to join you!). A good tip is to darken their room at night or use a cage cover. Birds are encouraged to keep quiet when their surroundings are dark!
Seraani Uthayakumar Wow, well if your bird is getting in harm's way, it might benefit from having its wings clipped. It's not always necessary, but in this case, it sounds like it would prevent injury.
Question I have never owned a bird before and I would love to get a parakeet but should I get one or to because my parents have had experience with birds please help me
Megan Carvalho-pereira As long as you do research on them and have all the needed supplies and time to take care of them, you should be a great budgie owner!
That is the best first step to parakeet ownership, so good for you! Luckily there are some great videos here on UA-cam about all kind of parakeet care topics, plus there are books available on the subject as well. Best of luck and hope you enjoy your bird/birds as much as I do mine!
Levi Duvall It takes a while for Budgies to get used to their new environment, so your bird is probably just trying to get settled. I would put some millet in the cage and just leave it there (unless it becomes soiled). Since parakeets are very curious, once your bird gets comfortable, it should start to explore the millet and hopefully enjoy a taste!
Seraani Uthayakumar I will try to get it up as quickly as possible. I do get a lot of requests, so please be patient. If I can answer any questions for you beforehand, let me know!
Definitely yes. In the wild they live in big groups. These birds are very social and should be held in pairs or bigger groups. A lonely budgie can easily become depressed, pulling it's feathers out and getting bored
Hi Manuel. Since it seems you are needing immediate information, I am going to refer you to this website: www.budgieplace.com/breeding.html. This shows a typical breeding set up. The main things you want to have are a breeding box, plenty of food and water (may need to add more than your normal offerings during this time), a cuttlebone (or mineral block), and vitamins. These items are all explained in more depth on the site page I mentioned. Hope all goes well with your keet and the babies...how exciting!
Seraani Uthayakumar Well sometimes they will follow one another, so hopefully the tame one will influence the other to become a bit more comfortable. Time and patience will be of help to you in that process as well.
Love the video, I had a budgie/parakeet but she flew away soon I'm thinking of getting another parakeet since I know more about them!!!!! -Eqestria Girl
Wow, that's really cool! Especially because she was a female, and they usually say the males are the talkers. My girl likes to chatter more than the male, but no talking yet. Hopefully she will soon!
Can I go to the beach, forest etc. for the bird's perch? I'm planning on getting one of these pretty birds, and I'm wondering if this is a good option. There's many good small wooden branches here that can work as a good perch for the bird in the cage
Yes, you can get branches for birds from outside areas. There are some types of trees that you do not want to use, and there are several lists on the internet you can refer to for that. Happy hunting!
Francis Claro Hello! Yes, parakeets (and many other parrots) can get more aggressive when it's time to breed, have babies and care for the babies. You may have to do different things to manage your interaction with them (more patience and space can be needed) and to manage their interaction with cage mates.
Francis Claro Their personalities can change when they no longer have babies to feed and a nest to care for, however hormonal changes caused by coming into breeding age may still cause them to be different than they were as young birds. It's certainly manageable and doesn't mean they won't be sweet birds. It just may require some different approaches.
School_Tales There are a lot of things that Budgies shouldn't eat. Food items can include caffeine, avacados and some fruit/veggy seeds or pits along with many household items. It might be better for you to go by a list of acceptables (some of the food items are listed in my fruit/veggie video) and keep your budgie(s) away from the rest. Common household hazards include water containers (like dog food bowls), ceiling fans, cleaners/chemicals and windows/mirrors (they can fly into them).
+The Video Game Fanatics Check out some of my hand taming videos. Those should help you bond with your bird and get you to a point where you can handle it!
Thank you for this video!! It really helped me when I first got my bird :D Now I have 2 birds (a yellow and green one and a white and blue one) and I watched this again today to make sure I have EVERYTHING I needed, sense I have 2 birds now. :D
oh and what do I do if my birds don't eat the fruit I give them?? I try but they just ignore them and seem to be afraid of the fruit and vegetables D: What do I do!!???
Hi ma"am I have so many questions! :)I'm new to care parakeetI bougth 1 pair adult but When I watching them they hate each other..Parakeets needs sunlight?.wich place good for parakeets?I have so noisy dog nearly Them.it can stress them?.Ang I have so big cage is this good or not for 1 pair?.I would like to buy another pair To encourage my first one?If I put new pair? To another pair together in a cage? It is good or they will fight? Please ma'am :) thanks to you and Godbless :)
I purchased a parAkeet yesterday but then my sister Said that I had to get a second one since these birds like to be paired. Well let's just say that the first night home, Brandon didn't even make a chirping sound at all. But then midday I heard him chirping. And I got all excited. So I took him back to the let store and let's just say he loves being outdoor. He was chirping and flying around in the cage. When we got LolA, it seems as though he went back to being quiet and wants nothing to do with LolA. What should I do. Give it a day or two and one more Thu g I'm scared to touch him how do you go about touching them.
How often do you have to take your bird to get their beak/nails trimmed? I have 3 budgies, but I also have a sun conure that we take to the avian vet to have her nails and b am trimmed once every 3 months.
im all set and ready for my parakeets now i just got their cage Yesterday and i researched all over the internet and books all about parakeets now im ready for them im getting them in 2 months. yay
Hi parakeet perch! I'm thinking about getting one parakeet. I was just wondering if you would recommend one parakeet if I were to go to school from 7:15 to 2:45 every week day. Thanks for your videos! They are really helpful
Thank you so much for your informative video. I wanted to comment that tap water really is not ok for any living creatures. Most tap water contains arsenic, fluoride, chlorine and many other unhealthy toxins. Because they are so small, they are more vulnerable to the toxins than humans. Filtered or spring water would be best.
I wish I could get one or two. Unfortunately my dad is highly allergic to birds feather and animals in general that have feathers or fur. Hints why I only have fish and snails. My mom use to have some, but when they married she couldn't take them with her because of him being allergic. :l
Seraani Uthayakumar Sure, I can do that. It may take me a while, as I have a few other requests to fill. In the meantime, this video shows a lot of what I have, along with a few of my others (like the video on how to clean your cage quickly)!
the cage that was too small , i have that exact cage and have two budgies i feel so bad for them now but i cant afford to buy them a bigger cage , can you do a video of how to let your parakeet out of its cage and stay next to you because i do not want my babies cramped , thank you very much
mariahc357 It would be tough for me to do a video on keeping birds close by because my birds don't typically stay with me, unless I am working with them. You might consider having someone experienced clip your birds' wings, as this would help. The best thing, however, would really be to get them an appropriately sized cage. You might check online, as sometimes you can get some good deals on larger cages!
thanks and my dad hads birds for a long time and helps me and yesterday we slowly let my blue budgie out of the cage and he just perched on our tv wire it was cute, you can check out the video on my channel please i would appreaciate it
mariahc357 So glad things are moving in the right direction! Your video was really cute. It's nice that you are so gentle and careful around your birds!
I just Got a female parakeet in Friday. She seemed very sad alone as she came from a large cage where she was born. So we bought one of her sisters today. Are they usually silent birds? They don't seem to move much or sing at all. Are they just getting used to their new home or should I be concerned??
Hi I just bought a couple of that but they are really quite and not eating properly. I am really worry that what's wrong with them. They are really young.
+Nur Hossain Also, make sure they are properly weaned. They should know how to eat on their own when they come to you, else you would have to hand feed and teach them independence. Breeders should take care of that part.
hello, I'm getting 2 budgies in under a week and my cage is very big. I'm 11 and had a betta fish in a 5 gallon but sadly he died 7 months ago and ive been doing so much research on budgies and I'm in love with them! there so cute and I have everything we need for them and we're just gonna get the birds soon! lol
BreakableRider 19 Wow, most budgies really like millet, so I'm surprised. Have you tried leaving some in his cage, or are you trying to feed it to him? You can try introducing pellets and fruits/veggies. Pellets need to be gradually added to seed in increasing amounts, and you have to be sure that your bird is still eating properly. Some birds will reject pellets and then not eat enough. Fruits and veggies may require a lot of trial and error. You can offer different types and present it in different ways (I have a video about this and it may help)! Grapes are usually a big hit as is kale!
Im going to get a bird in a couple days and I'm just wondering if a parakeet or a budgie are comfortable in peoples hands. This will be my first bird and this video really helped
I just got my budgie about 2 weeks ago, i'm going to teach her to talk. About how long if working with her every day would it take for her to learn to talk? Also should i be concerned about he not chirping at all? she may chirp once or twice while i'm present i dont know what she does during the day when i'm working, but i figured since she has only been in the house less than 2 weeks that she is still getting settled, thats why she isnt chirping, should i be concerned?
How often do you have to clean there cages? I switch between my moms and dads weekly and they live 20 minutes apart, and how do you clean there cages for the first time?
I am thinking about getting two parakeets. But i want to know what gender of parakeets do best together. (ex: two boys, two girls, or one male and one female) thanks!
Nice video but the concrete perch is bad as little grains can get stuck in there toes and could lead to serious injury cuz they have soft pads on there toes. And seeds shouldn't make up most of there diet yes the pallet are good but seeds should only make up 10% of their diet as they should eat a variety of fruits and vegetables with a mix of pallets
"If you're watching this video you're... Thinking of getting one"
me: She's talking to meeeee!
Thank you for this video. I'll be getting mine this week!
My mom is saying no but I'm saying yes
Hey i think it’s a bit late to ask but,I just wanted to ask how he is

Cupcake Killer wish I could do that,but I’m broke😂I mean I’m only 11 so🤷🏼♀️
This was 5 years ago- did you get one? XD

this is a fantastic video! More people should be viewing this.
I absolutely love this video! I am actually getting one this afternoon so I'll be watching these videos for a while since I'm a newbie🤗Thank you for putting this video up! It is so useful💖
Quinn TheCat SHUT UP you don't know anything about her so stop being mean
Quinn TheCat OMG I LOVE FLOCK TALK!! I love zeebie, she has so much personality
Starbucks *3* well she does need more natural perches and no concrete perches. They also need a lot more toys.
Cupcake Killer well the way Quinn TheCat said it just triggered me but sorry
Starbucks *3* it’s okay, I’m just glad I found someone that’s recommending flock talk
I am getting 2 budgies in around 2 weeks, so thanks for making this video it will help :)
***** Thanks for the comment and glad the video was helpful!
That music is a bit loud anyone agree?
Can parakeets eat bananas ?plz help i want to know the fruit they have im getting a parakeet for the first time
Plz answer!
Are fig tree harmful to budgie/birds as perches
Cause I have a fig tree and the branches look so nice for perches.(good quality)
Bro first i was reseraching for a dog and i might get it after the coronavirus kinda goes away and then i researched for a bunny and we were also gonna get one but they ran out so instead we got a guinea pig and I love it and when i was scrolling thought tik tok i found a very beutiful parakeet and i decided to research for them and it brought me here 😂👉🏻👈🏻
Just saying but concrete perches are uncomfortable for most birds
I saw that a parakeet can get startled by loud noises and i am thinking of getting one and my question is. I sleep with a fan its always on low would that have an effect
Where I live pellets for birds are not available what would be a good alternative ?
Paper Owl umm they need seeds and fruits and veggies so for pellets maybe try online like Amazon
Paper Owl you can also feed them seeds like millet sprays and a variety of dark leafed veggies and some fruits
Use amazon
i am from the future 2018
Not scary enough ok
I am from the now, 2018
2019, try me lol
Where's a good area for your parakeets cage?
+GamingPanda27 Someplace slightly quiet, away from where other pets can get to the birds. Also, since parrots can be sensitive to fumes (like teflon and cleaning agents) a place near the kitchen or bathroom might not be a good choice. You do want your bird(s) to be somewhere that allows them to see you, at least for part of each day.
in my room will it be okay?
want them in a room where the action is and where they can see you a lot of the time. They'd get bored and lonely in a room where you're not in as much, like a bedroom.
+GamingPanda27 as long as you're in there a lot
its good to put ur cage by a wall
I'm getting two green parakeets they come with a cage and food but i wanted to watch this anyways
Thanks so much for watching! It sounds like you are going to be a great owner for your new birds, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy mine!
Thank you so much!
I was worried about what type of water buddies drink and it turns out that they can drink tap water!😊😉
Btw I'm getting a budgie about half a year.🥺😩☺️😆
Glad that the media was helpful to you. Thanks so much for watching, and I'm excited that you're getting a new bird.
Your channel is so informative! I've been watching a lot of your vids and I'm thinking of getting one! That is why I subscribed you!
Awesome...thank you!
Do you need to sign anything for buying the parakeet?
Hello, can you make a video on other basic parakeet care? such as:
When to refill its food bowl, when you can let your parakeet out of its cage and let it fly around and for how many hours, so other basic care, for the parakeet in the house.
Laura Boderke you should get your bird out of the cage as much as possible. Birds need to be out of the cage most of the day to get enough enrichment, mental and physical stimulation and exercise.
Hi were did u get your cage my 2 birds have a big cage but i am thinking of getting another budgie so i was to get a biger cage for them....
What substrate would be the best?
This video was awesome it gave me a lot of good tips for when I get a bird
Avoid toxic foods. If you give them apples make sure there's no seeds. Apple seeds are toxic; anything with cyanide which also includes cherry seeds. Probably already know to stay away from avocados, caffeine, salty foods aswell. Make sure to keep toxic fumes away from it. Includes air freshener, cleaners, perfumes, paint fumes, ect.use a natural biodegradable cleaner or ones advertised in stores meant to clean cages. If you have non stick pans keep birds away from the fumes when cooking or throw it away. There's a certain temperature to where a chemical is released from those pans which will kill them
I’m getting one tomorrow but I did some research and it said that you should have mirrors as your budgie can get attached to its reflection and not want to hang out with you anymore, so just a heads up... but I’m so Subscribing, I really want to learn more
This may be true if a parakeet is exposed to a mirror all of the time, but they like seeing their reflection occasionally.
can the veggies be cooked????????
No Christiaan, they typically don't (unless you are up late and making a lot of noise, in which case they may try to join you!). A good tip is to darken their room at night or use a cage cover. Birds are encouraged to keep quiet when their surroundings are dark!
i have two pair of budgie.they are in one cage.Would they mate? Please answer me?
They would mate if they have a nesting box
this lady is so sassy it's awesome
Great video. Thanks for all the info. Was wondering if you do a video demonstrating a bath and how to do nail trimming.
U can't do nail trimming yourself
How much was your cage? I only have one bird and I just know the cage is to small for her.
Tamondja S mine was 99$ from petsmart and similar to hers but taller.
Ok then like I have a really stubborn one that's why like she's not staying in one place she's always flying and hitting into the walls and windows
Seraani Uthayakumar Wow, well if your bird is getting in harm's way, it might benefit from having its wings clipped. It's not always necessary, but in this case, it sounds like it would prevent injury.

I have two birds alrealldy one is blue and white her name is holly.

Yes,yes she used to peck the tame one wen I come close to the cage, but now she doesn't peck him so that's great and I'm getting good with her
Seraani Uthayakumar Wonderful!
So hi, I got a parakeet a couple of days ago and I was needing to know my bird does not want millet why?
Levi Duvall It takes a while for Budgies to get used to their new environment, so your bird is probably just trying to get settled. Hey Sophia, can you please fill up my request a bit quickly
Seraani Uthayakumar I will try to get it up as quickly as possible. I do get a lot of requests, so please be patient. If I can answer any questions for you beforehand, let me know!
Should parakeets be kept in pairs?
Ideally, yes.
+shaylen sanders they don't have to be, but it's good if you don't have as much time to spend with a single bird! Thanks for watching!
Definitely yes. In the wild they live in big groups. These birds are very social and should be held in pairs or bigger groups. A lonely budgie can easily become depressed, pulling it's feathers out and getting bored

i had a small cage for my parakeets when i was in 1 rst grade but now i really know the care and i am only nine!😊
Fatima Asghari It's great that you have leaned more about Budgie care! Thanks so much for the comment!
And my budgies I have one tamed and then the other one is really stubborn
Seraani Uthayakumar Well sometimes they will follow one another, so hopefully the tame one will influence the other to become a bit more comfortable. Time and patience will be of help to you in that process as well.
And also my parakeets don't like to come out like Siri and Soma
Seraani Uthayakumar If you continue to working with them, they could certainly become more fond of it!
Can I say that, most birds actually can’t eat fruit seeds, but strawbrrries are okay.
I hate it how the pet store only sells tiny cages. And they lie to you by saying "this is a great size for about 2 budgies".
Ok sure
Can you do a video on how to get your parakeet to get fruits ?
Thanks for the comment Bell T and great suggestion! I will work on the video about getting fruits into a keet's diet for you!
Love the video, I had a budgie/parakeet but she flew away soon I'm thinking of getting another parakeet since I know more about them!!!!! -Eqestria Girl
So sorry you lost your other parakeet. Hopefully you will get another one soon. They really are great pets and fun to train too!
My. Parakeet was such a talker she wouldn't shut up, she learned how to sing I'm sexy and I know it and she sang it all day!! -Eqestria Girl
Wow, that's really cool! Especially because she was a female, and they usually say the males are the talkers. My girl likes to chatter more than the male, but no talking yet. Hopefully she will soon!
what is the perfect cage size for a parakeet
+Lacharra Nichols I would recommend the Prevue Hendryx! It's 26″ long x 14″ wide x 20″ high!
+The Parakeet Perch my birds cage is almost the size of an abiary except its room sized
Sweet tae
Frederick Shearer yes?
Sweet tae I would also like to know that

Taya Johnson I got it from Petsmart!
I am supper excited to get my pet parakeet tomorrow
rob baldwin Awesome! I am excited to hear that you're getting a budgie!
Can they eat strawberries and blueberrys?
rhone cts yes
Hi the parakeet perch!!!! Uhmm do parakeets get aggressive when having babies?
Pls reply i need your answer pls.
Francis Claro Hello! Yes, parakeets (and many other parrots) can get more aggressive when it's time to breed, have babies and care for the babies. You may have to do different things to manage your interaction with them (more patience and space can be needed) and to manage their interaction with cage mates.

It's certainly manageable and doesn't mean they won't be sweet birds. It just may require some different approaches.
I have the same cage and colored birds
The_girl _with_parakeets Wow, that is awesome! I am starting to get to know a lot of people with lutino/albino combinations!
What should budgies not eat or get near

Did u buy your parakeets at petsmart
Seraani Uthayakumar Yes, I got both Siri and Soma from Petsmart.
where can i buy the mineral blocks?
If you have a breeding pair can you take your budgie of the nest to hold for short periods of time if they are ok with it
The happy hoppy bunny no
If they are in the nest, do not take them out but if the are out of their nest and in their cage then you can play with them
Does a male parakeet bird lay eggs
Seraani Uthayakumar No, just the female does :-).
Thx for helping I'm thinking of getting a parakeet how to I make it want to be around me

Wonderful! Looks like you are making sure you will be prepared if you do, which is the right move! Hope things work out and you can get one (or more)!
Omg! I feel so bad for the parakeets I got last time I got that tony cage with no info! I feel horrible!
I have 3 budgies, but I also have a sun conure that we take to the avian vet to have her nails and b am trimmed once every 3 months.
im all set and ready for my parakeets now i just got their cage Yesterday and i researched all over the internet and books all about parakeets now im ready for them im getting them in 2 months. yay
Wow and great video can you make a video for how to tell if your budgie has mites thanks
Hi parakeet perch! I'm thinking about getting one parakeet. I was just wondering if you would recommend one parakeet if I were to go to school from 7:15 to 2:45 every week day. Thanks for your videos! They are really helpful
Hi! I saw a product on Amazon. It's by zoo med and it's called avian calcium. It's a powdered calcium supplement. Would you recommend it?
Umm... I’ve had my parakeet for 17 years and he is still active, playful, and healthy. Is he immortal?😂
I have male and female
Seraani Uthayakumar Awesome!
No no I mean like a cage tour
Seraani Uthayakumar Sure, I can do that. It may take me a while, as I have a few other requests to fill. In the meantime, this video shows a lot of what I have, along with a few of my others (like the video on how to clean your cage quickly)!
Come on everyone help the parakeet perch get 1million subs
the cage that was too small , i have that exact cage and have two budgies i feel so bad for them now but i cant afford to buy them a bigger cage , can you do a video of how to let your parakeet out of its cage and stay next to you because i do not want my babies cramped , thank you very much
mariahc357 It would be tough for me to do a video on keeping birds close by because my birds don't typically stay with me, unless I am working with them.
It's nice that you are so gentle and careful around your birds!
aha thankies
mariahc357 You're welcome!
I just Got a female parakeet in Friday. She seemed very sad alone as she came from a large cage where she was born. So we bought one of her sisters today. Are they usually silent birds? They don't seem to move much or sing at all. Are they just getting used to their new home or should I be concerned??
Thank you so much
Camille Douglas My pleasure!
Hi
I just bought a couple of that but they are really quite and not eating properly. I am really worry that what's wrong with them. They are really young.
+Nur Hossain Just give them time...it take a while for budgies to adjust sometimes. Hopefully they are doing much better now.
+Nur Hossain Also, make sure they are properly weaned. They should know how to eat on their own when they come to you, else you would have to hand feed and teach them independence. Breeders should take care of that part.
+The Parakeet Perch thank you so much! Now they are pretty good and eating nicely as well!
good for u yahhhhhhh!!!! I love happy pets
Do you know how much all of the accessories in the cage cost? (Toys, perches etc)
spiralkaz7 I don't know exactly. An estimate would be $30.
Thanks. We just got a bunch of toys for Eren cx
spiralkaz7 Wonderful! I bet your budgie will enjoy them. Eren is a very cool name by the way!
hello, I'm getting 2 budgies in under a week and my cage is very big. I'm 11 and had a betta fish in a 5 gallon but sadly he died 7 months ago and ive been doing so much research on budgies and I'm in love with them! there so cute and I have everything we need for them and we're just gonna get the birds soon! lol
My bird hates millit and I've had him for a week now and can't find anything he will eat other then seeds
***** he flings millet out of his cage. I'll try grapes
BreakableRider 19 Sounds like a good idea! I hope he loves it.
how do i get my parakeet to come to me...she is still very scared of evryone at home
Im going to get a bird in a couple days and I'm just wondering if a parakeet or a budgie are comfortable in peoples hands. This will be my first bird and this video really helped
I check locally for cages. I have my pair in a 20×18×18. I also have tons of toys and perches in my cage.
I have a blue and white parakeet and he's a little bit shy what should I call him and he's kind of always shy at the corner
Whatever you do. Do NOT get concrete and sandpaper perches. It could give parakeets blisters and red marks on their soft feet
I’m probably going to get one for my birthday
Awesome!!
Parakeet Life congrats :-D it's best to get 2 if you can! So the other won't get lonely
How often do you have to clean there cages? I switch between my moms and dads weekly and they live 20 minutes apart, and how do you clean there cages for the first time?
i'm thinking of getting a blue parakeet. i'm excited !
+devin jackson Super cool! They have some really great colors available out there, so I hope you find one you really love!
***** thanks!
my pleasure devin jackson
I found a cage of 31L 20W 53H. I'm looking to get 2 parakeets. Is that an okay size?
Can you please make a video of signs or how to know if your parakeet is about to lay eggs :)
Yes, I can get that up for you. Give me a bit of time as I am wrapping up production on a few other videos. Thanks for watching and requesting!
***** thank you soo much :) I really like your channel
Brandon Bonilla My pleasure, and thank YOU so much :)!
Ok but why would I listen to you? I mean you have a mirror, and dowel perches....
I am thinking about getting two parakeets. But i want to know what gender of parakeets do best together. (ex: two boys, two girls, or one male and one female) thanks!
great video
+Turquoise Fox Thanks!
