in French to talk about Haiti we can say en or à but we can always say à (it's a mistake but all French people make it and it has become normal) but to say en it's just in some cases and if you make the mistake of saying en instead of à , then people will see that you made a mistake
so just say à for Haiti and not en
ex
- Après des études à l’étranger, ils souhaitent retourner en Haïti pour y travailler. (or : à Haïti)
- Les plages sont d’un sable doré à Haïti.
- L’œuvre de cette auteure primée est entièrement consacrée à Haïti.
