Enjoyed that beach walk, love how the sea was raging but seemed so quiet. Loved the finds, the blue bubble was totally bubbleicious 💙 So many teeny tiny's at the end was like watching hens pecking 😂
It was so beautiful I could have spent all day wave dodging! Like so beautiful … dude!! How on earth did that many people walk past that blue!!? 😂🤷♂️ I can understand the dragon egg it looks a little stoney… but that blue.. 🫶🤷♂️😂🥳 thanks for joining me again Julie 🤩
What a blessed trip to the beach that was 😮😊💛..Got to admit the blue jelly beans and 'Ow my stickystars '! the dragon egg 😲jaw dropping gorgeous, well done you.
I make a few bits, pass some on to others who do too… but really it’s more about having an excuse to get outdoors… i will have to do some how to vids for my jewellery, I keep saying this to people… but I just … it becomes like a WORK thing when I start doing that… and works boring… I just wanna run outside and make noise 😂😂… I WILL make some stuff up… and I WILL film the how to’s for here… maybe … someday soon 🤔😂😂
That's why I've never been to Seaham (recently).... Too many people. Just goes to show there's still nice bits to be found no matter how many people are there tho. Shame about the little red... Found my first bit ever red last week at Charlie's.
Mate.. everything I found was in n the surface… allll those peeps walked straight past them! But yea, it’s hitting that time of year where it’ll just get busier and busier… congratulations on the red! 🫶.. I was gutted 😂😂🤦♂️
Thanks for joining me again! … yea fun this one 🥳 haha that pesky red man…. Honestly… so… the dragon egg is just a piece of waste glass… the glass cools incorrectly and sort of crystallises inside… dumped in the sea over a hundred years ago and rolled to perfect little eggs… I’ve a couple imperfect small ones… this one is amazing though
@TheHappyPicker thanks for the reply... I always watch your videos ... I love the way you chatter on about stuff - always makes me smile! I will have to keep my eyes out for dragons eggs ... never seen one myself before always easier to find things once you have held one in your own hands.
😂😂 honestly was gutted but it’s the bear’s birthday today (11!!) so lots was to be done yesterday… still didn’t think I’d get the chance so was buzzing just to get down for an hour! 🥳
It seems to me that there are less, and less coloured, especially multi coloured seaglass on Seaham beach ,the once "end of the day",and imperfect glass on the ocean floor, has been depleted!
Of course you’re correct! But it’s as much of not more to do with the natural erosion of the glass than the people taking it… there’s thousands… millions of tinys, all of those would have been big pieces… you have to remember these have been rolling about for a hundred years or so wearing smoother and smoother… and smaller… that said… everything I found today was lying on the surface… ALLLLL those other people walked right by them! 🤷♂️ and I’ll tell you what… the size and the quality of the multis coming from there at the moment are mind blowing… I haven’t found any 😂😂 but I keep getting stopped on the beach by people showing me theirs ! 🫣😂😂
As much as I enjoy watching your videos from Seaham, the swarms of people put me off. I like to be in a Zen place whilst searching for treasure. Bumping into 20 people would kill it for me.
😂… yea it was mad down there… nice day for it… still you can see what people walk straight past! It’s almost time to start visiting the further away beaches!
