I have been a student pilot for 2½ years. It's expensive and studying is very hard for me. Also free time is rare with a 50-55 hour a week job. But these videos help so much. I have learned so many small tricks that stick in my mind. I'll keep watching these videos over and over even until after I get my license. Thanks again for all the great work.
Hi, I'm Hezekiah's Dad. Thanks for this video. Very helpful. Just my speed. I'm 13 hours into my training so that I can be there with Hez as he progresses to solo at 16. Im 54. Great vid.
Thank you so much for this video - I’m bookmarking it! I’m a student with 6.8 hours in a Cherokee P28 and this is the most clear explanation I’ve seen on understanding airspace.
Robert, I am a 300 hour IFR pilot and I would not have gotten this way without Jason's products. I HIGHLY recommend his courses, especially the check ride stuff. It is CRITICAL that you get it and study it because you will for sure pass if you study them.
I'm getting my CFI. I watch your videos to teach me how to teach my students. The rocket ship game is a MUST for an instructional aid. Well done sir! 👏
After watching half a dozen sectional chart videos I found this one. It is THE ONLY one that I found easy to understand. THANK YOU! WELL DONE! NONE of the other videos explained the magenta transition areas.
I'm working on my Helicopter ppl, your vids helped me pass my written test. Another great video on airspace, I bet that Sanford area gets a lot of students and beginner pilots in trouble.
23 for 23: The "T" on the airport airspace was a new one for me. I have never seen that before. A good pilot is always learning. Another great production from the MzeroA team... Y'all (yep, I'm from Texas) Rock!!!
Your good, enjoyed the presentation. Just finished an online ground school but this is much better. From a rusty PP and trying to get back into the air.
After a 20 yr sabbatical, I started flying again recently. When it comes to airspace, flight planning and ac performance, im basically starting from scratch. These videos have been tremendously helpful. Thank you!
Very useful video. Airspace is complicated but with this type of exercise and few practice we will be mastering this topic. Thanks so much for such great content.
This is great instructions Sir,l did Business all way so have not idea to reading maps cept merely but You have taken me close to reading intuitive right now. Thanks in all, From Ghana.
I am in online ground school now, and the charts are kind of confusing. This really helps! Thank you! Sorry, I'm not in your ground school course, but I hadn't heard about it until I already started.
As a new pilot I was really struggling with airspace floors and ceilings, but this video seriously helped clean things up a bit and give me a clearer picture of them. Thank you so much, really appreciate you guys!
im looking into becoming a student pilot so im looing at videos as much as i can decide if this is something i can do. that aid this video is the best one so far i have viewed 75-100 thanks
23/23 headed to 31/31. Outstanding! In my old school world, I use charts when ever I fly. I thought I was pretty good with them, however, I learned several new things from this video. The rocket ship game is an excellent way to teach it. Thanks for another great lesson!
I am just discovering your channel, and I just subscribed. I’m a relatively new student, I have about 18 hours in a Cessna 172, I have not soloed yet, and I’m beginning to doubt I ever will. Landings kill me, I can’t get a grip on it. And now I’m watching a video on Maps I can’t even read. Every time I watch one of your videos I realize how far I am from being able to fly an airplane.
I've been a rusty pilot a few times in my flying life and re-learning the airspace has always been the #1 challenge for me. I think the rocket ship game is an excellent tool to use to stay sharp and C-152 is an excellent acronym.
23/23 - I love the charts. I don't know who updates these or how - but those folks deserve kudos for packing SO MUCH info into a single "layer." I could get lost just studying a 10" x 10" bit. Your video really helps eyeball the big visuals of the sectional. Cheers!
23/23 - After so much IFR focus the past year this was a great refresher on VFR charts, and not only a refresher but I learned something today. I never knew the T on the class C below the class B shelf. Love the rocket ship game, I've never seen that!
I love these videos cuz I'm still learning and I forget some of the things. So these videos are great refreshers and just to add I'm only a SIM pilot but I love learning
Hello Jason from Sydney Australia. SectIonal charts SEC WAC I'm having a little trouble with quick visual identification of; Golf Delta (solid blue line) Bravo (blue dash line) Charlie ECCO Class A FL180- 60 airspace. I enjoy map reading and see the specific height of airspaces. Other useful markings such as: Distance scale Cardinals Nth VOR stations Man made structures (need a little time to study the charts). Praise be to God ☀️
Great materials. Little confusing. I believe Jason that the Class G you’re showing is going up to 700 or 1200 AGL which is important so your altitudes are little off but helpful.
With the app, you can also hold down on the airspace boundary, and it will tell you what the vertical limits are, and what frequencies you need to use.
🔥❤️👍23 for 23. Another great refresher. Airspace on top of airspace, great stuff to help engrain. For a future in-depth video, “traffic patterns”, and “procedures in the pattern”. Understand aircraft type is a factor, but more of a general overview. (probably covered in the official course).
Thanks for this lesson. I’m not a student as of yet, I’m waiting until I relocate down to Florida, which will be some time in March. My goal is to start lessons and continue non-stop with the same instructor, all the way through an IFR rating. I continue to study and learn on my own hiccups is why I tune in to everything you post, along with text books that I have purchased on my own. Please send me information on your flight school and what I can do to study using all the resources you have. Blessings.
23 of 23 ... I can always use help with the airspace, especially Class G (700 vs 1200 ft). That second launch off of Yankee lake through me for a loop. Looking out for today's. Studying IFR and getting ready for the lessons this spring.
I think you highlighted one of the major differences between Australia and the US for my trip later in the year. Our class C, D, E are colour coded differently, all contain the letters for the colour blind, and use the SFC/3000 notation. I will definitely revise that section in your ground school before I come.
I wish I just came to you instead of searching endlessly for a explanation I could understand online.
Struggled with airspace comprehension until this video. Thank you!
Thanks for watching!
Thank you Jason
Finally found my answers to questions others skipped over. Thanks. Helicopter trainee.

Bro flight training in the space shuttle💀
Just started flying again in a Bonanza at age 70. I haven't been flying for 15 years. Thanks for the sectional learning your great.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one. 20 year hiatus for me as well and getting back into flying and working on my PP certificate.
@@rcdrone1111 good luck!!
This was the most informative day I have had yet...thank you! 23/23
Bout to take a private checkride. I’ve never had this more clearly explained. Thank you 🙏🏽
23:23. Understanding the sectional chart is always a problem but you made it easy Jason, thanks so much!
Working on my instrument, been a private pilot for years, but this was an excellent video for explaining airspace.

23 for 23 great refresher on airspace. I’m actually surprised how much I remembered
My flight instructor Bo from x35 recommended you as a learning source, Very impressed and thank you
23/23. I love reading charts. I learn something new every time
As a new pilot I was really struggling with airspace floors and ceilings, but this video seriously helped clean things up a bit and give me a clearer picture of them. Thank you so much, really appreciate you guys!
Thanks for these videos. Student pilot here. Helping a lot.
Great to hear! Thanks for your support!
Your Good at explaining evrything so well, that I know VFR Chart very well now, Thanks
im looking into becoming a student pilot so im looing at videos as much as i can decide if this is something i can do. that aid this video is the best one so far i have viewed 75-100 thanks
The relationship between Class G and Class E has always been fuzzy. Thanks for making it easier to understand.
The "Rocket Ship Game" helped me a lot to better understand air space. Thanks!!!
23/23 - the rocket ship game really helped me see the 3D of airspace - thank you!

Awesome job making sectional charts less intimidating and a "little" enjoyable!
Charts are less confusing now! thank you
Happy to help!

You are so awesome at how you explain things. I was having trouble with section vfr maps until the rock ship game , very awesome.
23/23, today’s video was SO good! Thanks Jason, God bless!
When I get my PPL this year, I'm going to fly down to KOCF from KAGS for a $200 burger and shake your hand. Thanks for all your work and material.
Definitely one of the best videos out there helping to describe the vfr sectional!! Great job thank you!
Wow super eyes opened here to help with my 107. Thanks !
23 for 23! Thanks for the great content. The “T” was new to me and it is great to learn something new every day!!

Thanks for the quick review! Nice job!
23 for 23. I've never run into the rocket ship game before. I like it!
Excellent explanation Jason. Fun as well. 🚁
23 for 23! These are some great videos Jason. Really enjoying them.
Well explained! Thank you
MzeroA🙏🙏
Great video, definitely helps me visualize it better!!
Excellent Training Video Jason! Thank You.
Thank you 🙏 so much. I was struggling man you are the best
Thank you, Great way to challenge yourself and learn air space with your class.
Fortunately, I was pretty good with my sectionals, so I aced the last airspace quiz. ;) Thanks for doing this challenge.
With the app, you can also hold down on the airspace boundary, and it will tell you what the vertical limits are, and what frequencies you need to use.
Rocket play🚀!!! Amazing way to training Airspaces!!!! Don't forget to come back to class G airspace!!!
This was a reason great segment!!! Thank you.
Great video Jason, I'll share this for sure!
This is good teaching Jason! Thank you. I'm always learning!

Great, quick overview. You covered a lot of information in a short amount of time. Thanks!
23 for 23, excellent video! I do struggle with airspace stuff - this did help but I do need a lot more practice.
Jason, loves you videos, however, one very important point you left out…….. the Class E transition areas (700 & 1200) are measured in AGL, not MSL.
23 of 23 ... I can always use help with the airspace, especially Class G (700 vs 1200 ft). That second launch off of Yankee lake through me for a loop. Looking out for today's. Studying IFR and getting ready for the lessons this spring.
Thanks. I'll start this often
Great stuff Jason!…Thank you!
Great instructions helped me alot
Totally cool way of explaining airspace.
Thanks Gabriel!
Awesomely taught!!
FYI 4:17 you mentioned railroad tracks. It appears to show the line of longitude.
23/23! I enjoy reading sectional charts!
Great presentation. Thanks

23-4-23/ Great refresher and shout out to ERAU (DB) and Spruce Creek Fly-In. Used to see JT on the runway there in his jet.
Love it! 23/23!!
perfect explanation
Very nice, helps explain it well, especially for students here in South Florida. KHWO
23/23 always good to review.
23 4 23 jason. Thank you that was a nice refresher
