I just wanted to say, that i've followed this channel ever since the beginning of my Pilot Adventure, and here I am 2 years later still watching your videos as a certified Air Force Pilot. I appreciate you guys greatly!
Thank you for serving out country. Remember we are always going to be here. Glad that we were able to help you follow your dreams and make them happen.
Hi Tony. I passed my part 107 and I wanted to thank you for this video. I would encourage others to watch as many videos as possible and study for a couple of weeks at least. Thank you!
Did a lot of flying for the Navy over 14 years ago, now looking to get into commercial flying after the long break. Great videos! Helping re-learn so many things I've forgotten... like these VFR sectionals! Thank you.
Haven't flown since Dec, and working on prepping my bi-annual. I feel like I'm starting over. Thanks for the refresher MZEROA. You guys Rock it all day everyday. :)
Would like to see a video on Moa restricted areas I always get a little confused on the standing dip and you seem to break down things so easily thank you
I thought the Flag was a VFR reporting spot, but when approaching the airport to land. As in that is, when you radio 15 miles SE in bound for Rwy Xx. It is a good point not just for approach. Great video
I have not flown in 2 years and will be taking my BFR very soon so videos like this are great. I need to get a video that goes into great detail from the beginning on charts for a refresher. Great job on this video. Thank you!!!
I love these kinds of videos! I would love to see a similar one on TAC (in busy airspace) and for Low Enroute. Another great video! Also, how about more scenario-based training?
Always loved aviation and even took a class on aerodynamics at Rockwell Int in Downey, Ca. back in the mid 80's. At age 50 I'm finally getting my pilot's license and working on ground school now.
So funny... revising for my written exam and VFR sectional charts were one of the difficulties I had. And it just happens that I fly out of Orlando Executive! Definitely explained the Bravo confusion I had at first in the area.
1599 is Delta, 1600 is Bravo. Mind your antennas pilots, some of them extend above your pitot tubes! They may get into Bravo without you realizing it ))) Thanks for the helpful explanations, Jason!
My commercial checkride is tomorrow and I was about to watch a video on sectionals again because it’s easy to get things mixed up. This couldn’t have come at a better time.
Definitely learned new things today for sure! Could you guys do a short video breaking down the complexity of the Ft Walton Beach / Destin area? Keep up the great work!
Wonderful teacher I wish my school teach me that way!!!! can you help explain What does it mean the blue number were is Semchenko (blue)2 exp 8 for example , Fig 21 Sectional chart Thank you!
Did you ever make a video on TAC Charts? Maybe include some info on latitude and longitude, its a bit confusing. Love your videos though! Just subscribed!
How about transition routes. here in SLC theres a funky one the Barns transition looks like its combined with the I-80 transition and a section of transition that I don't even know what its considered. thanks!
is there a good rule of thumb about crow hopping across country if you're flying a low distance aircraft like a Cessna or an ultralight. and is it leagal to fly an ultralight into a large airport
Over Disney we just stayed at 35. If there is a way to get closer with the proper channels I would like to know. Being at 3,500, could go as low as 3,001MSL , but even that wasn't given the site justice.
Wow, that's interesting. I don't live in Phoenix, but I can see them on the Phoenix TAC. Clearly they're VFR checkpoints representing major road intersections, but yeah, why do they call them stacks? Have you asked a local CFI?
Jason: Great content!! Word Nerd here: PLEASE stop referring to yourself as "myself". "Myself and my team thank you..." If you took the team out of the sentence, you'd be saying, "Myself thanks you". Please say "I". "I thank you". "The team and I thank you", etc. My work here is done. :-) Again, great content.
Cool... haha I’m trying to soak in as much info as I can before flight school (Year or two away) so this cool to see. Definitely learned something. Thanks.
Soon to be CFI here and this is a great video to touch up on some things. The thing that confused me the most until I realized the differences are bridges and dams. They look very similar and it took me about 3 years to realize that one was a bridge and one was a dam. Another little sectional question I like to talk about is the one in this picture: imgur.com/a/16Ki5xB. Question being, what does that solid magenta line mean around the airport? Most people get so caught up in trying to figure it out and find it on a legend that they don’t notice it tells you directly next to it.
@@MzeroAFlightTraining Anyway, i still confuse about those symbology on the map, maybe in the future you guys gonna make one for it, i really appreciate it. Thanks for every knowledges, Keep Go Ahead
I don't know how long it's been there, but it's not new. It only pops up in places where a class C airport sits directly below a class B shelf. I don't know how many places there are like that.
I'm not being ungrateful of the free videos, but it should at least live up to the title don't you think...? Before I continue, please know that I am thankful for your content Jason and team. However, I must say, this video (and others on the subject) just barely brushed on some very important issues, such as distinguishing between AGL or MSL for airspace floor/ceiling values, which is very important when talking about airspace! Are these values not inclusive of the airport elevation, and therefore the elevation should be added in order to truly comply?? On a side note also, why not just one nice video that covers everything? I think I know..., because most tubers would rather have 2 dozen 10 minute long videos to satisfy the youtube money-making scheme. I get it though. Please just focus on making valuable content for the good subscribers of this channel! I still like the video...
This was very dis-jointed. You didn’t teach how to read a sectional chart as the title says. You pointed out a few airspace depictions and a tower/VFR checkpoint. Perhaps your other videos may make a good lead in to this one, but as a stand alone it’s not very adequate.
I just wanted to say, that i've followed this channel ever since the beginning of my Pilot Adventure, and here I am 2 years later still watching your videos as a certified Air Force Pilot. I appreciate you guys greatly!
Also my goal, Air Force-Southwest
That speaks volumes... Instant subscription done... Ty for your service to our Country... Stay safe... God Speed...🙏

No way wow !!!
Hi Tony. I passed my part 107 and I wanted to thank you for this video. I would encourage others to watch as many videos as possible and study for a couple of weeks at least. Thank you!
Almost 16, working for my private. This is my dream and always will be. Thank you for the content!!
Ive been flying over 40 years these videos are great for a refresher never stop learning.

Hey there! Great to hear you're getting back into flying and found the videos helpful! Keep us updated.
Lo-Enroute charts. Yes, please.
Haven't flown since Dec, and working on prepping my bi-annual. I feel like I'm starting over. Thanks for the refresher MZEROA. You guys Rock it all day everyday. :)
Love it! Thanks Jason and staff! Y’all are a helpful part of me becoming a pilot! I thank you for that!
Nick Hart your welcome my friend!
Would like to see a video on Moa restricted areas I always get a little confused on the standing dip and you seem to break down things so easily thank you
Love the chart reading lessons. Can never be a pilot, but I can love to learn.
Never say never. However, if you are unable to be a pilot, know that there are many other things that you can do in the aviation field.
This was great! Love that you show it on the ipad, on a real world chart, makes it so much easier to understand. Thanks!
I thought the Flag was a VFR reporting spot, but when approaching the airport to land. As in that is, when you radio 15 miles SE in bound for Rwy Xx. It is a good point not just for approach. Great video

Nice refresher! please do the Low IFR too.
Great job, Jason!! Definitely learned new things today. Please know your videos are a blessing to new pilots like myself. 👍
Thanks
I love these kinds of videos! I would love to see a similar one on TAC (in busy airspace) and for Low Enroute. Another great video! Also, how about more scenario-based training?
VFR Charts have become very "busy" with ton's of stuff.....thanks for your insight & making them at least be manageable! Franklin, TN....
You're very welcome! Happy it helped
You're such an awesome teacher Jason! Thanks for this!
Always loved aviation and even took a class on aerodynamics at Rockwell Int in Downey, Ca. back in the mid 80's. At age 50 I'm finally getting my pilot's license and working on ground school now.
your voice is so calming
So funny... revising for my written exam and VFR sectional charts were one of the difficulties I had. And it just happens that I fly out of Orlando Executive! Definitely explained the Bravo confusion I had at first in the area.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP... 92% today!
Great job!
1599 is Delta, 1600 is Bravo. Mind your antennas pilots, some of them extend above your pitot tubes! They may get into Bravo without you realizing it )))
Thanks for the helpful explanations, Jason!
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed the video!
Thank you! This is very helpful because I'm confused with class B floors and this cleared it up
Absolutely low IFR. Got PPL with your help. Will be starting IFR shortly band will be back. Already passed written.
THANKS JASON!!!! ALWAYS LEARNING SOMETHING NEW WITH MzeroA!!!
Well done! Pilots are always learning.
Love your content. Keep up the great videos.
Good Job, great refresher!!!
My commercial checkride is tomorrow and I was about to watch a video on sectionals again because it’s easy to get things mixed up. This couldn’t have come at a better time.
Thanks Jason I always appreciate your videos.
Excellent Jason!
Low Enroute. Absolutely. Thank you.
Definitely learned new things today for sure! Could you guys do a short video breaking down the complexity of the Ft Walton Beach / Destin area? Keep up the great work!
Many thanks for posting this! I learned a few things as I work on my Private.
Glad it was helpful!
Wonderful teacher I wish my school teach me that way!!!!
can you help explain What does it mean the blue number were is Semchenko (blue)2 exp 8 for example , Fig 21 Sectional chart
Thank you!
Well done Sir.
Great info! Why 2 watches?
Hey Thor! Check out this link to see why! bit.ly/jason2watches
Thank you sir very nice
Did you ever make a video on TAC Charts? Maybe include some info on latitude and longitude, its a bit confusing. Love your videos though! Just subscribed!
Another wonderful video, thank you and all of those that made it possible
Thank you so much for watching!
Nice work👍
How about a course on radio communications transitioning through multiple overlying airspaces. What are the best practices?
Hi Ernie, take a look at this webinar: ua-cam.com/video/bF4E9d3yUUg/v-deo.html
Hope this helps! Thanks for watching!
How about transition routes. here in SLC theres a funky one the Barns transition looks like its combined with the I-80 transition and a section of transition that I don't even know what its considered. thanks!
Great video. Thanks
Yes! IFR low charts. This is good stuff.
is there a good rule of thumb about crow hopping across country if you're flying a low distance aircraft like a Cessna or an ultralight. and is it leagal to fly an ultralight into a large airport
Nice animation, and good content Jason! I would have also liked to see you cover Class E and G airspace.
jason . Im having problems with lat and long on air charts ..please help ..
Over Disney we just stayed at 35. If there is a way to get closer with the proper channels I would like to know. Being at 3,500, could go as low as 3,001MSL , but even that wasn't given the site justice.
Very instructive video, Thanks you
I'm curious about the two wristwatches......
a. On the Phoenix chart, below Paradise Valley and down near Squaw Peak, it reads "STACKS." What is that? b. Where is the quiz?
Wow, that's interesting. I don't live in Phoenix, but I can see them on the Phoenix TAC. Clearly they're VFR checkpoints representing major road intersections, but yeah, why do they call them stacks? Have you asked a local CFI?
Most likely industrial stacks. Used to be called smokestacks.
I love the 3D vertical animation -was just thinking of how helpful it would be.
And can anyone tell me if the 2 week trial is still happening? Thanks.
not even becoming a pilot until another 5 years but i still watch this
wow
Love these.
Thanks!
Thanks for the good video
Thank you so much guys👌🏻😎
Yes to low ifr!
Is it 100/16 is that MSL OR AGL
How do I get current after 15 years of not flying?
Jason:
Great content!!
Again, great content.
Thanks for watching!
Ahhh... Memories of ground school many years ago! Back when we called it Unicom.
Cool... haha I’m trying to soak in as much info as I can before flight school (Year or two away) so this cool to see. Definitely learned something. Thanks.
VERY INFORMATIVE!
So what is P-50??
Im new to aviation, where might I find certified checklists (run up, etc.) for specific planes?
What airplane are you looking for? I Usually look up the Name of the plane e.g. : “Cessna 172P checklist PDF”
Up to but not including always confuse me. Thanks for education.
Nice vid.
Can you do a video on latitude and longitude please?
Thanks for providing a video idea! We appreciate it!

How much I The online Ground school for IFR
why do you have two watches on?
Thanks
You're welcome! Thanks for watching!

Yes to the Low Enroute
What is a “B” route, see Florida chart DEEDS to MTH
A, B, G, R-routes that form part of the regional networks of ATS route and are not RNAV routes;
Is the T new? I don’t recall seeing it before.
I don't know how long it's been there, but it's not new. It only pops up in places where a class C airport sits directly below a class B shelf. I don't know how many places there are like that.
Ted Its not even in the legend for that chart, nor can I find any mention in the Chart Users Guide.
What app is this?
This would be ForeFlight
Thanks
What is a MOA
Military Operations Area
Why does he have two watches on?
Low en route charts, sure.
Thanks. AGPIAL
💪🏿
To be a safer smarter pilot I need money.......to get the license in the first place.
👍👍👍👍👍
I get so staggeringly confused by sectional charts and how they relate to what one would actually be doing as one flies. Vusual overload. :(
Why two
Watches

Agreed.
