    You may want to rethink most of this video. Sarcopenia, the natural wasting away of muscle with age, is one of the main things that alters your functions with aging. You brush your teeth daily you bath and eat daily. You should execise daily as well. Without resistance your muscles give in to weakness. Squating, over head pressing and deadlifting are the fundamental movements we need in life. Think of getting up from a chair or toilet seat=squats. Putting something up or removing something from a shelf overhead =pressing movement. Picking up something from the floor=the dead lift movement. Read the book Rx barebells for the real truth about aging and exercises. As the man stated you are training for the hardest competition of your life. Old Age. Oh yeah and resistance training releases endorphins which creates well feelings and buffers aches and natural pains that come with age.

    This video is somewhat deceiving, weaving through a tapestry of suggestions for improving quality of life. As a 72-year-old male who has studied health and wellness, exercise is necessary if you want to remain vital. I spent nearly 40 years looking at essential supplements needed to stay healthy while ignoring continual exercise. That was a big mistake. Muscle mass as we age may be the most crucial factor in health and life span. Taking targeted supplements, constantly moving, and exercising regularly will increase the quality of your life. Let's recap, exercise routine, daily movement, a good diet, targeted supplements, restful sleep, a good attitude, and a CLEAR purpose for living increase your odds of a long and satisfying lifetime of friendships and accomplishments!

      Read the book Rx barbell. I`m not quite your age but closing in. No meds. Dr. exam once a yr. unless I wreck on mtn. bike. Geez! You want to improve your quality and the ability to do what you enjoy. No it want make you richer or more handsome but will enlighten you on what resistance training has done for older folks like us and older. No sales pitch or hype.

      @@3SeasonsUSA coffee is the best drink for your liver. Black tea is 2nd. Nothing wrong with caffeine but in the end nobody knows for sure.
