Great reaction to the best band in the entire Universe. Freddie obviously was from another planet and you summed up exactly what his voice sounds like, an Angel. Sir Brian May in my view is the best guitarist we have to this living day, well deserving of his recent Knighthood, and like he says he feels sure that Freddie would have got one much sooner than himself. I have been a Queen fan of over 35 years and was lucky enough to see them live at Live Aid in 1985 (when I was 16) and then twice the following year 1986 at Wembley & Knebworth. He was the most beautiful Persian Poppinjay, RIP dahling Freddie you were and STILL are the LEGEND you always wanted to be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

You will like a song Freddie and Brian did together after the Live Aid concert. It's called Is This The World We Created. It was meaningful then, and sooo meaningful now.

Just Freddie alone at the piano in the ghostly green twilight, quieting a rowdy crowd with this brief but perfectly formed performance. It's generally thought he probably wrote it for his first proper boyfriend after he and Mary broke up as a couple, (though they remained extremely close for the rest of his life). He did have a complicated/rather unconventional love-life! :-)
This is nonsense. "Love of My Life" was recorded for "A Night at the Opera". Queen were near the end of recording this album when Freddie met David Minns. We don't know who it was written for or if it even was written for anyone in particular. What we do know is that Freddie repeatedly called Mary Austin the love of his life. She was the main beneficiary in his will; he also left her his house.
