I just got a Japanese Cherry Blossom and it’s no more than maybe 18” high and a sapling. Should I keep it inside in a large pot until it’s bigger?
No you can have it in the ground or container we. Whatever you prefer

Yeah. I didn’t know that. We had an exchange student from Korea that lived with us , so that makes it even more special.

Fall is a great time to plant them! Winter is a bit more risky. If the ground is soft you can plant them in winter. Keep it watered during winter and stake if necessary.
