Great video. Currently have the z fold 3 but got cracks on it. I could do insurance and they would send me a refurbished z fold 3. But been thinking about upgrading due to hearing refurbished phones always aren't that good. Do you think it would be worth upgrading to the fold 4 or is the s22 ultra any good?

If I had a fold 3, I probably wouldn't have upgraded either until the fold 5. Glad you still loving the fold! I sure love mine as well!

Sporting an S22 Ultra now as a replacement for a a longtime held Note 9 which I loved (but hated top due to that dedicated Bixby button on the left, but also grew to dislike due to no more Android x/ OneUI y upgrades, shame on you Samsung!)
So alone with that, I got the Z-fold 4. It ain't perfect. But as you noted, it blows everything out of the water processor speed wise. Example: I have a Fitbit Charge 5. The S22 Ultra takes several minutes and often multiple retries to sync with it. The Z-Fold 4 takes like 5 seconds max.
You nailed it on the bulkiness, no built-in S-Pen, etc. We'll see what they do with this...

My first fold and it's really a great phone, especially the use for my work, I have to be in several things at the same time, zoom meetings, sheets, drive, messages
That's awsome! These things are definitely work horse depending on what kind of job/career you have. I did replace my old Surface with this fold for some accounting I do for a Non-For profit organization and I love it! It's two in one, a media machine and a work horse! 🙂
I believe there is a factory fitted screen protector on the fold. So hopefully the scratches to yours are only on the original protector. This may be why you got bubbles when you applied your screen protector as it would not be attaching itself to the glass.
Yes you are correct! The scratches are on the factory screen protector which is awesome.. as for the bubbling part, it only bubbled up on the section where the magnets are, I just cut a section out and the problem was solved. I'm glad I installed a second screen protector though, definitely feel the screen more protected now.

Thanks! Honestly I haven't really tested it out fully but at least 5+ hours of onscreen time on the big screen.
My favorite part of the phone is that after 2 almost 3 weeks of having it I keep learning cool tricks and tips and find many uses to the big screen. I have to agree with the finger lock being quick! I have also on display fingerprint phones, and they come short.
Yes i agree! So much new things to learn especially when using the stylus too! Awesome phone so far!

Until it breaks. Be cautious. Lots of hardware failures. Mainly screens breaking without drops
@Shinobi not really, test have been run on the phone even drop test and it's. Very durable

It may be the Samsung car holder. Unfortunately it seems it's arms break easily from the reviews.

Yes, very true! It does protect the camera lens module, I'm just not used to carrying such thick phones yet, I'm risking it with not having the case on for the past few weeks, so far no drops, hopefully that's stays the case haha..
Man I want a Fold so bad. I love that larger screen. I don't like that I'd have to forgo the 10x zoom as I love taking pictures of the moon.

Considering trading in my iPhone 13 pro and getting the Fold 4🤔
Got to admit i finally gave up on cases for this phone. Tried and returned the pen case and a speigen slim armor. They were just too bulky. I dont forsee any issues as it looks pretty tough in the tests.
Have you tried the leather case or the one with the handle?
@@syxalite no, ordered a d brand leather skin. Im not hard on phones i just need a little more grip. Glass and polished metal are a slide out of pocket nightmare
Yeah I've been using the phone without a case the last few weeks, so far no accidents, hopefully the luck continues.. I'm also still considering to get a dbrand skin to help with grip..
You have forgotten about speakers, they are amazing comparing to S22 series, with big grills

I didnt bother with the first few folds, knew the first few generations would not be special. They've done good here. Glad i waited.
Also i put hydrogel screen protector on my main screen. its absolute fine. scratches easily but who care -- protects the main screen protector below.
Nice! The cheap Amazon screen protector I put is also very thin but I'm happy to have another layer of protection. Might try the hydrogel next time.

Fold 4 is the best phone on the market..period. it is also better than fold 3 which I also owned. The software is better for multi tasking and the 1mm front screen expansion made all the difference. Love the aesthetics as well. Iphones by the way, are outdated.
Wish they make 2 version
1) Thicker with 6000mAh battery or 10hrs+ of Screen on Time
2) One with S Pen inside with smaller batter
Wishlist for ZFold-5,:
1. Pricing - get it down by 20%
2. Cameras- should be at par with S23 Ultra
3. Reduce thickness & weight
4. Integrate SPen
5. Introduce split camera array for multicontext
6. Speaker& microphone array should be premium
7. Improve Selfie camera
8. Encourage ecosystem for apps that leverage multi screen, multi views, multi tasking , split views, drag & drop across views, multi conferencing, one way & two way mirroring.
9. Introduce both fold & flip in the same device across displays

Looks like your (main) screen protector is already peeling off at the edges? Damn.
I have an additional screen protector applied on the main screen which got some dust in it which is why it looks like peeling. The original screen protector is still perfectly fine underneath it.
cameras isn't that bad
And the case isn't that bulky
Once I seen my credit card I returned the phone it’s a good device but the price I couldn’t keep it.
Yeah it is very expensive! If it wasn't for the trade in I got for my s21 and the extra accessories like the watch 5 and headphones that I also got with the Samsung promo during the preorder time (which I sold both to make up for the price), then I probably wouldn't have pulled the trigger on this one either.
