My fold 4 main screen already took a dump and I’m sending it in to Samsung. It doesn’t respond and only the cover screen works now

Had my fold 4 inner screen snap down the middle yesterday. Samsung agreed to cover it under warrant so I took it to the nearest service center. Just got word that they could repair it, apparently their is now something wrong with the motherboard prevent a new screen from being attached. Seems I got very unlucky with my phone.

Had this phone, worse decision ever, everyone looks at you like wtf, it’s 2 phones stacked on each other and camera is awe full.

It seems like you put pressure on the screen when you close it. I never do that. You closed it but used the screen as the leverage point. Over time that could cause damage to the sensors under the screen.

I saw the same speckled lines show up on mine throughout the crease. This didn't happen on my Fold2 or 3. But on the 3 I did have the screen protector separating issue. It's minor enough that I don't feel like sending it in for repairs and be without the phone.

The lighting is mediocre in your chair shots and the audio is much more echoey and distant. Jarring when switching between chair shot and up-close phone shots. Get a lavalier mic for the chair shots. Your attention to detail and good camera presence will take you far. Cheers!

Yeah if you wanna pay a 250$ deductible along with a replacement I had 2 of them get broken down the middle uggghhh

First issue is't an issue, looks like you have eye protection or something which reduce blue color. Check your settings fool

I've got a Fold 3 from the day of its release and it still runs and looks like its brand new.

I've had it for a month now, and I'm careful because, like you, I think it is a fragile phone and I accepted that it's part of the compromises for a folding phone. I have created behavioral rules to help me avoid damages e.g. put it in the pocket or bag when walking; I have a thick mat next to my bed in case it falls off the bed.

First problem: Check if you activated a feature for night viewing display, your screen becomes yellow like.

Fold 4 is the best phone on the market..period. it is also better than fold 3 which I also owned. The software is better for multi tasking and the 1mm front screen expansion made all the difference. Love the aesthetics as well. Iphones by the way, are outdated.

Wishlist for ZFold-5,: 1. Pricing - get it down by 20% 2. Cameras- should be at par with S23 Ultra 3. Reduce thickness & weight 4. Integrate SPen 5. Introduce split camera array for multicontext 6. Speaker& microphone array should be premium 7. Improve Selfie camera 8. Encourage ecosystem for apps that leverage multi screen, multi views, multi tasking , split views, drag & drop across views, multi conferencing, one way & two way mirroring. 9. Introduce both fold & flip in the same device across displays

Well I'm trying to find a replacement for my Mate 20X, carrier would not whitelist it. I bought a Note 20 ultra 5g and it's just not in the same league as the 20X. Looking at these folding phones but I'm a bricklayer and need a tough device, I use them to read plans and such. Seems like it is too delicate. The Mate 20X is a beast and it's very hard to find a replacement. I guess people with big hands are just out of luck, very frustrating. Enjoyed your video, pertinent information for me especially. I've been using my fold 4 for my channel ever since I have never experienced anything like this. Well, my only issue is I always hear this creaking sound when I open after left closed for a long time

I had the flip and after 7 months I had the dead pixels at the fold. They replaced it and the battery free of charge. 6 months later I had mine open and it slipped out of my hand and onto tiles. It was smashed so badly I did $1000 of damage which meant it was rendered useless and I needed a whole new phone. They’re the most expensive phones to fix. I feel like they get screen burn so easily and the screen gets harder and harder to read as the months go by. I loved my flip so much but it is just not practical for everyday life as it’s so fragile and you have to be so careful. Love the features but purchased a Galaxy s21 to replace it

I've had my z fold 4 since the first week it came out, and the only thing that when i first open my phone is my hinge makes a cracking noise, so maybe some dust got in there. Either than that ive had zero issues so far, and im not gentle with it. I use it daily and open and close it multiple times a day.

Please see link below for a closer image of the lines my brother-in-laws phone is showing. We're not sure if it's due to the factory screen protector that Samsung doesn't recommend to take off or if it's actually the screen itself. I dont see any of that sh** you're talking about. If there are some screen issues in the crease, it could be the screen protector.

Just purchased this and love hearing all about it, both good and bad. Watched comparing the phone to your brother in law's phone.

My z fold three was broken when I got it. Just didn't know it. Blue tooth head set makes it not ring missed alot of calls. Also sometimes what I push to come on like a app it will be something else like what's under it. Now the screen is cracked right in the middle where it folds.

My fold 4 make noises from the screen when i undfold and its very loud. Next time i trust better Apple they bring phones out where working.

Seems a lot of these problems could have been avoidable. I've accidentally dropped my fold 4 numerous times and not one mark on it. The sand thing is a bit silly! Samsung clearly says keep your phone away from sand.

Could the lines on our brother in laws fold 4 be the screen protector and not the actual screen..?? And my 2yr old z fold2 looks and runs like new including the inner 7.6" screen..and as far as your looking pink could it be the Display settings been adjusted in the Vivid mode and colors settings..
