I just got this phone, it's a slayer... way beyond anything Apple has ever produced. The software and multi window efficiency gains, the convenience.. I have ZERO regrets.

This phone is such a pleasure to use, the software is buttery smooth with so many options to make it yours. Samsung is knocking it out of the park with the software. Just can't say enough. Night and day from ios. Everything just works with no connection issues. Cough...Apple.

@Anshul Srivastava dude it's so easy. Just open the youtube app and it's in the menus. Took me 3 seconds to find it. Seems like you're just making things up to hate.
@@hobosnake1 found it but it did not respond after opening up, google support was useless, samsung always gonna be my secondary phone, unreliable
@Anshul Srivastava interesting. This is probably due to samsung using shittier processors in your country. Luckily with the s23 series that's done. You guys now get the good processors from now on.
I've had countless samsung phones, and they've always been amazing, but we get the snapdragon chip here in the US all these years, like other countries are getting now.

This is a terrific phone & no matter how many reviews I see I'll never go back to a regular phone as long as they make the fold, I just upgraded my fold 3 to the fold 4 & I should receive it today. Just get it

thanks for the terrific overview of the Z FOLD4. I am really loving the huge upgrade since ZFOLD3 in terms of actual usability on the front screen and convenience of the multi-tasking, leaving camera quality aside.
Now I would really appreciate it if you may be able to cover some audio quality aspects on the zFOLD4 after Samsung has acquired Harman Kardon ! Lol

Excellent Review - In the process of getting a new phone and went through a host of reviews, but I loved the fact you provided comparative reviews rather than simply reviewing the upgrades between models. I love the tech, but ultimatly we are all consumers wanting the get the best return for our investment.

I really wanted to find out how well the following apps work on a foldable:
(1) UA-cam, (2) News, (3) e-reader, (4) Social apps

But this phone is thick when folded, I'm guessing it doesn't feel too comfy in your pocket.
As someone who was really tron between the flip and the fold and because of this videos it helped alot in making that decision.

I have been using the LGV60 for a few years and I enjoy it very much, it's like having a small portable TV, but since LG left the market, an upgrade is inevitable.
Z Fold 4 is maybe the best phone right now. I purchased a iphone 13 pro max to replace my S21ultra and I regret it. Z Fold 4 looks amazing!

iPhone 13 pro max and s21 ultra are from the same generation lol. What were you expecting? Would've made more sense to wait at least a year for a newer model
I have been using this phone for the last year and it fell from my sloppy hand on ground atleast 3-4 times till now. It is super sturdy and did not have any issues. Only the side silver got some deep scratches from the strike.

Wow. I’m that guy that can’t unsee the dead pixel once it has been brought to my attention. Seeing the side by sides at 11:30 just reinforced my concern with the Apple 14’s dead pixel block rebranded as the Dynamic Island.
Watched this video before buying anything. It's definitely a great video. i'm so happy to have the Tb 4 fold for such a great deal too
So as a long time Android user for the first time I decided to buy an iphone 14 pro max... ordered it in September 18th.. so yesterday I went to ask when will I get my phone, they said mid February... I was like whaaaat

FIrst of all, I love your videos Ella S2 I bought the Flip 3 because of your review haha I have 1 question though, what about the mark/line that appears in the middle where it folds after a while, I'd say like, 6+ months ? Is it still a problem with the Flip and Fold 4 ? My Flip 3 is full of lines in the middle, marking the plastic screen...
I was considering going with the Galaxy Z Fold 4 but since it still doesn't include an internal S-Pen slot I went with the S22 Ultra instead. It's too much of a pain to carry a bulky Fold 4 case with an external S-Pen. Thanks Ella for another great review and you have become my favorite tech UA-camr.
Once you use the bigger s pens though you'll never want to go back to the baby s pen. Same for big phone vs baby phone. Lifestyle creep if you will.
@@alphaspartan I prefer the the S-Pen for the fold over the built-in S-Pen. It's so much more comfortable. It's better for my hands and I use it for much longer period of time. I skipped the S22 Ultra for that reason. I like the S-Pen but I never used it much when I used my Note devices. I use my S-Pen everyday with the Fold 4.

I get mines in two days switching from iPhone I’m very excited to see how I adapt to it it’s a gorgeous phone and I’m a gamer so I’m excited for that too as well
I have to disagree with your statement on the air actions not being worth it. I use the screenshot one multiple times a day. it's so much easier than the other screenshot methods and goes right into editing mode for cropping and drawing on the screenshot. I also use the camera selfie one shutter often as well. Same thing just way easier than trying to hit the button on the phone. The rest are kind of gimmicky but those two in particular are sooo good.
I have read a bunch of reviews about this phone, but yours is the one that convinced me that it is worth buying. Unfortunately, the price is the only thing holding me back, so I'll be holding off for now. Great review!

Not bad. I appreciate the review, but what about the various damage points found online and in samsung forums? Regarding the : stress cracks , and screen lifting, etc? Has anyone had experiences with those issues? I did hear that Samsung tries not to cover the repair or replacement even with coverage. For normal wear/usage. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Def wanted to consider the Z fold for this holiday purchase in gifts
Nope - none at all.
After owning the zfold for quite a while I can say two things: the "stress cracks" is actually the screen protector film coming off. It looks like cracks. And two, the repair is dependable.
The screen lifting is something I never gotten. The only thing I don't like is how bad the crease line has gotten, but it doesn't ruin the phone at all.
So far so good. But get the fold 5.
I'm currently looking here as my Galaxy Z Flip 5G screen lifted today causing the top screen to turn black (not work). I've only used it indoors at home for years. Took it out with me for a day now it's broken. Yes the fold or flip screen tecnology is not fully developed so think twice before buying.
on your fold, did you mostly use mirrored version of samsung apps, or you sideload back google one? example like contacts, sms, calculator, browser (samsung internet vs chrome ) etc

I'm still on Gen 3. It still works like new. The only thing i'm noticing is the crease in the middle has gotten a little deeper. Update...... There is a black line down the middle and a week later, the right side no longer works. Was not dropped

I mostly use my phone for reading and texting, I’ve been looking at the flip since it’s a bit longer but now looking at the chrome on the fold when it’s fully open I like the look of it. Anyone know what one I should get in the long run ? I’m an iPhone user since I was young so I don’t have much experience with Samsung
If you love Apple's ecosystem of devices, then it's for you. But if you want to break out from the shell to explore. Then go. Otherwise do some research on what you want and fit your daily needs then switch. My work makes me dive inbetween Android and IOS in years. It's wonderful to get into these marvels but to choose the right one there's already a variety in the market.

Do you think the aspect ratio is odd? When watching videos, it’s about the same size as a normal phone due to the black borders on screen. And if you expand videos or games to the full screen, there will be portions cut off.
