Great showing of the Avanti Wesley. Always had this one on my list and I do believe I’m truly convinced now !!
Got one myself about 4 weeks ago, love it love it love it!
WOW!! What a beautiful jet. I cant get over how much it can slow down. I have to get this jet. Great flying Wesley and awesome camera work Lori!
BOOZERS!!!! nice flight wesley, and nice camera work LORI you make wes look good thnxs bud
Great video Wesley, that is a great first jet for sure, or just for some fun flying without the stress, thanks for the great work guys👊🏼👊🏼👍🏼👍🏼💯💯
fantastic flying
She flies sweet Wes. Excellent job on the sticks
Good job Wesley , It IS a Grate flying model !!
Looking great Boozer Team. Great flight and great camera view. Thanks ya'll 👍👍👍👍
Avanti S is one of the best Sport jets of all time , PERIOD !
The freewing 80mm Is without question the best choice for getting into EDF's !
Nice video as always. Sweet flying airplane for sure.
Personally I like the looks and flight character of the Avanti over some scale military jets. It looks so easy to fly.
It’s a breeze to fly.
Thanks for this Video, I'm going to try the Freewing Avanti S 80mm!
Wow those planes can get big. RC has come a long way. Hello and nice to meet you. Came from PUSA tonight and saw you in the chat. Love the channel. Lets connect and grow the right way. Glad to be here.
Great flying Wesley and awesome video Lori✈. This old mans want list just changed. I have 7 EDFs with the Freewing Rebel I fly most. Think the Avanti would be a step above. Love your channel and what you are doing for our Hobby. 😃💝
You will love it 🥰
I got one, love it!!
Awesome bro!! I can’t wait to get my hands on this one!
Now it comes in a beautiful Red color scheme with a slightly improved 9-blade ducted fan. Definitely going to get one 😊
that looks fun sir
great aircraft great pilot
Thanks a lot Wesley, now I want one....
If you haven’t had one of these you definitely need it next
Nice review!
You were in the air about 5:45 WOW! Awesome little plane...
Everyone I've talked to about his plane absolutely love it.
Yep with proper throttle management any jet can have 5 minutes of flight time not just the havoc😉 that being said I set my timer for 3:30 and it stops when my throttle is off.
@@MerryBoozerRC
Yeah that flight time stuff has been a huge issue on the forums. I've yet to see a video of this length posted on the forums by a Havoc customer.
Good job bud!
Yep they didn’t write it on the box of the avanti lol
Did the maiden yesterday with the ugraded version (1857 kv). Flies great. Fell in love with it after 1minute.
sunday Floater yep this is such a wonderful airframe. If you go crazy like me and have an extra $1200 sitting around the HSD super Viper flys just like it but 12s power!!! And twice as big. Check out the video we did of it
@@MerryBoozerRC Have seen the vids of the Viper 12 s - it`s a little bit ponderous IMO - similar to the T-33 from HSD.
Love this thing
Hi there, enjoyed your video very much. Thanks for sharing and a really good flight. Ive been flying model planes for 33 years now and ive always thought about getting a jet as ive never had one. The thing that put me off was the speed as im more into scale flying and didn't think my 56 year old eyes could keep up. But I was so impressed by the slow speed of the Avanti that its made me think about getting one. I also love the sound of this machine. Kind regards, Aidan.
If you can fly a warbird you can fly this jet
Great job on the demo Wes. You are a damn decent pilot brotha. Now give me my plane back. Hahaha
Probably the best foam jet ever - every time I flew it i`m yearning for the the next chance. It`s an addiction. Unfortunately my job and my wife won`t give me time enough.
I have mine in the truck right now. I'll have the video up later on. As well as the F4U corsair 1600mm
Love this jet. So stable.
Almost lost a wing on that landing. Whew! Nice flight though!
Awesome flight! Can't wait to maiden fly mine! 👍🏾👍🏾 Thumbs-up for your video! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾Have s great day! Greetings from Douglas, Arizona 👍🏾🌵😷🦠🇵🇷

Good job with some smooth flying. Hardly ever we get a day with no wind.
Summer time in Florida the wind is really nice.... but it’s hot 🥵
That my friend has been the issue of the summer here in NC.
Just fabulous ! Well flown.
I have my first two jets with SAFe The Eflite Viper & Eflite F15 so going to a non SAFE would be scary but this one looks great.
Thank you both
This one is fantastic
Once you can fly with safe, my advice is get off of it as quickly as you can. The longer you wait, the worse your anxiety gets. I flew plane after plane the simulator with 10-15 mph crosswinds for a week before i could make myself go fly without the gyro. Discovered i was worried for nothing. Unless you want to go fly in 15 mph plus winds, you don't need one.
Have seen alot of pilots learn to fly a safe plane and never be confident enough to fly without it, ever. It becomes training wheels that you think you can't ride without. But, of course you can, of course you can.
Great advice Shelby.... I fly my Maule, Timber props etc off safe and in strong wind but the Jets I have not tried. I will go for a calm day with the Viper once the winter weather. We are having at present clears. The Viper glides in sooo well at landing just like your Avante.
Many thanks for taking the time to answer.
Greetings from Torquay in Victoria just a short 16000 km from you
@@Bellairvideo oh, ya. Down the road a little way from here. Your welcome. I don't own a single plane with a gyro anymore.
Yeah yeah... you too brave!!!
Mr. Wesley, now you got my juices going. I've been looking at moving up from my current E-flight Viper 70mm (which I love) to its bigger brother, the 90MM which are both 12-blade EDF. I have to say, after looking at this video, the Avanti 80MM 9-blade EDF (wing geometry look similar to the E-flight Habu) is looking very nice, fun and very stable too. Other than installing a good receiver, would you recommend this Avanti 80MM over the Viper 90MM, or even maybe over the FMS FUTURA Tomahawk 80MM?
I fly my red one all the time
Looks like your Avanti flies as good as mine. Another great Boozer video!
It flies as good as the pilot, that's what a lot of people forget. Great flight🙂. Showing us how slow it can fly is just perfect.
😜
@@MerryBoozerRC I see there are 2 different types, yellow and the red one. Is the blade type 9 and 12 or something what i'm reading. I want to buy one and not sure whats best
Yes it’s a different fan option if you want longer flights go with the 9 if you want a better sound go with the 12
@@MerryBoozerRC The 12 blade was the sound difference okay. So thats the red one or the yellow than. Wait they are both 9 blade fans i see.
@@rtoebak76 lol 😂 I haven’t looked at them in a long time they did offer multiple versions at one time. If any of them come with the ineunner that’s the one you really want
This 12 blade or the 9 blade is the question.... I love both but the yellow scheme I like a bit more then that red like every jet
I would giggle too if I could slow roll an 80mm jet on a low pass.
... got one on the way, we will see how it goes.
Has version two corrected the issue on the front landing gear moving around?
The only thing I don't like about mine is how soft the landing gear alloy is
I need to give me one of those lorries to be my dedicated camera operator!
She is fantastic
Nice video and flight with the Avanti! I just got into the hobby and recently bought the E-flite Viper 90mm. Now I am also interested in getting the Avanti.. Just wondering based on your experience how the 2 planes compare with each other. Thanks.
the Avanti from freewing is one of the best flying models on the market you will love it if you have been enjoying the Viper.
Impressive flying Wes, she’s locked in ! Did you use any back pressure during those slow rolls?
Yes and rudder I’ve had lots of requests to do that lol so why not
Merry Boozer RC Thanks, they were beautiful scale rolls.. I just watched Ryan’s feed on the BVM EDF Blue Angel, that’s every pilots dream machine.
I'm curious....how do you secure the non slide material that you use under your battery to the plane? I'm sure there are many options, but was wondering how you do it? Hot glue gun? Thanks for your time!!
Chris
Hot glue works I normally just smeared the white glue that comes with the plane. And it’s just normal old shelf liner I get it at the $1 store
Any chance of having a comparison video between the dated Avanti and the new Havoc?
If I had the havoc yes but unfortunately the boozer still buys all his planes and unfortunately can’t afford to buy everything that comes out😉 who knows if someone gets one at the field I will definitely do it
did you know there was a microphone in the grass...why do people leave their shit at the field...nice flight sir...thanks for the fun
Lol that’s a Florida cat 🐈
@@MerryBoozerRC cat you say😉
Was that a slight tip stall at the end there on landing?
hard to tell but the stall is so gentle in this plane probably not.
The 70 mm Avanti flies fine but one con the landing gear are not installed very well they pop out after about 6 landings.
Not if you don’t crash land. Just saying mine has almost 100 flights now
@@MerryBoozerRC this was definitely foreshadowing wasnt it 😂
That's a great mike you have. So many of these videos have terrible mikes.
Thanks we invested in quality camera gear about 5 months ago when we decided to become more serious about our UA-cam channel what’s the point in filming if you can’t see or hear us 😉
Merry Boozer,
How would you compare this one to a Flexjet?
Speed
Flight
Etc
The avanti is faster and glides better but if you like flying high alpha the flex is better at that. The avanti is more of a pattern plane. The flex jet is much more capable for acrobatics. But the flex jet is almost $200 more money so if you like flying normall scale the avanti is the plane for you. If the price doesn’t scare you away the flex is still my favorite jet
What is your setup on the jet I need to know flap settings and DR/EP please and thanks
Ok I will check it when I get home but I don’t use any flap to elevator mix.
@@MerryBoozerRC thanks just let me know
i noticed you did not put those stupid looking white wing stablizer thing and it still fly great hum?
I fly this plane on a 6000mah battery. There is a video of a guy flying it on a 8000mah and he got 8+ minutes with mixed flying.
I’ve personally watched one fly 20 minutes on a 6000 off.... gliding it lol
Hi wesley.i got mine today after watching this video 2weeks ago.what the best cg for this?cheers from dubai😀
I’ve got to be honest I don’t actually have it to measure the CG on right now sold it to a friend 😔
@@MerryBoozerRC its ok your informative video help me a lot.i just use where did u put your batt.thanks for the reply😀😀😎
Melvin Rivera we are trying in all our new videos to show CG
@@MerryBoozerRC wow great.actual showing on your video helps a lot than base by the book.keep it up wesley.morenpower to your chanell.thanks.stay safe😀
I am looking for a second airplane, I am currently flying the apprentice, any suggestions, thank you and have a great day
It depends on what your interest in if you want an awesome flying bird the R-Flite valiant is fantastic. If you want a war bird I suggest the E-Flite P-47
Best flying, and built jet available today, in my opinion. I would not personally suggest it as a first jet though. That would have to be an Eflite Viper with SAFE.
Well I hope somebody buying a jet doesn’t need safe in my opinion if you need safe you shouldn’t buy a plane that flys 100mph. I would recommend someone be extremely confident in there flying skills before attempting to fly a jet.
@@MerryBoozerRC I totally get what you are saying and respect your opinion, but I LOVE having SAFE on my multiple jets. I am an experienced pilot but SAFE has saved me more than once. And just one SAVE saves someone $300+. And it allows me to learn and practice maneuvers I may not try if I didn't have it. Again, just my opinion, it's all good.
@@MerryBoozerRC couldn't agree more. If you are buying this plane, you should be able to fly without training wheels.
i see your running a satellite. What receiver are you using?
I think it’s a Ar6210 but I can’t remember off the top of my head it is Spectrum
FOR THE AILERONS ROLLS THAT YOU DID YOU USE RUDDER ALSO OR ONLY AILERON AND ELEVATOR PLEASE LET ME KNOW THANKS
Dishant Lalwani just elevator and ailerons. It’s much smoother if you add rudder in the mix I just didn’t that day. 😉
Great hooky, channel and video. Wow, awesome plane. I saw you on Pusa and had to join. Wish I had time to take this hobby up. Check us out, we are trying to grow as well. Don’t crash it. Haha. Awesome
12 blade? 9 blade?
Mine is the 12 haven’t flown the 9 but I’ve heard it’s just as awesome
Thanks!
I finally found the info on the free wing site. Red is 9, Yellow is 12.
It says that in such big letters that my eye skipped over it like a headline... and apparently a lot of other people as well; it seems to be a common q.
Thanks again for the vid, and the response.
Haha lol yep
Why does it sound like an ambulance?
Lol fire department is next door lol
@@MerryBoozerRC oh ok
electric foamies have completely taken over the hobby in .46 size models, which is a shame because 4 min of flight time is junk.
If you'd want it can fly 6-8 minutes on a very carefull handled throttle too
