0. I have seen zero in fifty years as a fan that would lead me to have confidence in the bears decision at QB ever.
50 only because I haven't seen him play a game in the league yet
76
We're trading down give us a second this year tho
15.
Felt the same way this is ridiculous no way Bears pass on Nabers if available
Damn straight. Bears are taking Odunze or Nabers if they're at 9. They both went to Halas for top 30 visits so the Bears definitely like both of them
By far the worst trade down idea I've seen so far
How about worst ever.
Agreed! It's pretty awful! BEAR DOWN!
If you had Nabers. All Caleb would have to do is notice what receiver is single guarded and throw the ball to him.
Good point there. Caleb Williams + Malik Nabers would move mountains in Chicago. Thanks for watching!
Schrager is dreaming or something else 💊💊🥴...😂
First of all Bears would 100% pick Malik Nabers. Definitely NOT trade down for a 2nd round pick for 2025!!... Maybe 2nd round pick of 2024...
He’s gotta be high! wtf pick was that.
Shrager is drugging 😂
@@marcledger4561I bet the higher ups told him to shake things up to get more clicks 😂
🤣🤣🤣he gots to be off something
Schrager is a Packers fan confirmed
None of us know what’s going to happen, but this is the up there with the dumbest mocks for us I’ve seen. SMH 🤦♂️
It really is... Thanks for watching though! BEAR DOWN!
If they trade away the chance to draft Nabers I will storm the gates of Halas Hall and take a dump on the doorsteps!
U said it all…. brotha same here 😂😂😭😭
This is the problem with national guys they just regurgitate stuff they have no idea about the pulse of the team.
It’s why I only really listen to Briggs
Nick Wright is for entertainment and Swift is for ideas with Harrison delivering content.
🐻⬇️🧆🏝️
Schrager is nuts. Poles is not that naive. No extra picks his year. All though he misplayed Claypool and strung out the Fields issue to where he could only get a sixth rounder next year.
no way they trade down for that package
I could definitely see Poles loving Latham, but that’s crap compensation, and why would you risk moving down that far? A lot of teams like him and could leap frog the Bears, and in front of the Bears could grab him like the Jets, Raiders and Saints. Jags and Bengals could jump in front of the Bears for him as well. That’s a big risk.
Watched Joe Alt play at ND in-person for a few years now, including the Gator Bowl in 2022. If he’s there at 9, you take him. Even if Rome or Nabers is still there, Alt is a perennial all pro
Best tackle out of ND since Ronnie Stanley
The trenches
100% agree, there isn't enough balls to go around with 2600 yards already at WR and 1000 at RB. If you take "The Future Franchise QB" then you have to protect him first off.
Great run blocker but suspect at pass protection. Can't get low enough cuz he's too tall.
Nonsense. Watch the clips of Tyson Bagent at 6'2" diving horizontal with the ball for the TD.
🐻⬇️🧆🏝️
Wow! This is got to be the stupidest mock draft I've seen for the Bears! Not only do we have Nabers at 9 but then we trade the pick and we don't even get any pics for 2024 in the trade?!?!??! Should at least got their second round pick for this year!
Bro even Frelund's mock of us taking Alt at 1 made more sense than this lol
@alexamerling79 Yeah Alt I would be fine with, considering he's a blue chip.
@@ddm62571yeah not at 1 tho obviously
@Kam0513 Yeah, 1 is not even a discussion anymore it's going to be Caleb. They only discussion is what they're going to do at 9.
Trade down, sure. If you’re going to do that out of the top 10 you need more than a future 2nd. Need a lot this year to make it worth while.
Just read the article and was outraged haha. Glad you made a video single this garbage out.
Glad you enjoyed the video lol. BEAR DOWN! Thanks for watching!
Ryan Poles isn't doing this trade.
Not if he wants to keep his job, that's for sure.
@BearsNow I did my own 2 round mock draft. Got Williams at 1, traded 9 with LA Rams for 19, 52 & 2025 2nd round pick. I got JC Latham at 19 & then picked up Ben Sinnott at 52 🥳
Yeah, if Nabers is available just take him and get a LT in the first round next year.
Schrager is HILARIOUS!!! 😂😂😂😂😂
NO FREAKING WAY this would EVER happen that way 😂😂😂
I think he's coming into a very good situation set up to be successful right now. I'll give him a 90% just come in and just get to work. Chicago up BEAR DOWN 💯🐻🏈 Exciting times I'll trust in Poles
This is idiotic. No way that mock will come around. Nabers isnt even gonna be available at #9
Your reaction is this strong to that trade deal but you think the Chargers would trade 5 for 9 and next year’s 2nd from Carolina? Come on man
The only reason I would trade down would be if all 3 receivers and Olt is gone thats it. This would be a great pick If they traded down to 15 but your right I would want that 2nd this year and I would push real hard for a 3rd or 2nd for next year which might be possible is one of the QB's fall to 9
Colts were a solid team this year finishing around the middle in spite of their starting QB missing pretty much the whole season. So next year you can expect that future 2nd to be pretty late. Might even be a playoff pick.
Hits the nail on the head. A future pick has less value, and a 2 this year has justification but up to preference
The only rebuttal to not taking Nabers is if the Bears don’t like Nabers OFF the field.
Peter Schrager literally only got three picks correct in last years 1.0 mock. So much for “this is what I’m hearing around the league”
It'll be Odunze@ #9, not Nabors
Next Years DL crop is MUCH deeper than this years. Which leads to me seeing trading down happening and picking up a LT at #15 this year. The defense as it stands right now needs another edge, but can be really good again this year as it stands. Now if Malik is still there at #9, I for one do not see the Bears passing on picking Malik.
Bears will be Bears! Great move! Take another RT and move to Left! Pass on a blue chip receiver!!! I would be livid!
I doubt this happens.
@@alexamerling79 I hope your right
Totally agree with Harrison on this one. You do not pass on Nabers. Yes, I'd pass on Odunze, but Nabers? No. This trade would have to give us a 2nd this year. Maybe we'd have to send the Colts back a 4th or a future pick or something to make the value equal out, but we need a 2nd THIS year.
No way. Moving into the top 10 especially in a draft like this one/being able to steal Nabers in this particular scenario not only is going to cost the Colts at least their 2nd round pick this year but also one next year plus a 3rd + 5th next year or a '25 3rd and '26 4th or something along those lines. Even then I'm still weary about passing on one of the top 3 WRs or Alt for any number of 3rd or 4th round picks. Honestly I'd probably only do this trade if I was able to trade rape the Colts like we did the Panthers last year. If going from 9 to 1 costs 3 1st round picks then I think getting 2 1sts is that far fetched going 15 to 9.
20 in Caleb, 2 in Ryan Poles and 1 in Matt Eberflus. Chances are by this time next year Poles and/or Eberflus won't be around. I think Caleb's ceiling is Kyler Murray.
Honestly, passing on Nabers and landing a future 2nd round pick, then drafting Latham at 15 is definitely a Poles like move!!
Grade: D-, I wouldn't draft Latham until the mid 20s. If you go O-line, I'd prefer Alt or Powers-Johnson.
Schrager must be a secret packers fan! FGB
I think the Bears passing on a top 3 WR is a very real possibility some of you need to start dealing with.
When was the last time we had this much talent ??
Oh I agree. It's terrible. First off, we wouldn't pass on Nabers if he was there at 9. Second, even if we did pass on him, we would need more than a future 2nd. Third, this would mean we would have to either move Latham or Wright to Left tackle and that hinders their development especially with Wright. I don't see this happening. I wouldn't hate Latham in a vaccum but in this scenario when you pass on Nabers and only get a future 2nd, screw that.
Schrager knows more than anyone commenting its entirely possible they pass on nabers the bears need more help at other positions wide receiver would be a luxury pick and while its possible its not likely
I like Latham at 15 only if we get a second this year and a second next year. I'm all about building up that o-line!
If he is hearing anything, which is dubious, it's probably misinformation. Aside from the first pick last year, literally every other pick in his last mock draft before the 2023 draft was incorrect. He was 0-30. I wouldn't put too much stock in this. Plus, Lathan is a Right Tackle. So, where would the Bears play him? Would he move to Left? Would they move him to Right Guard? Would they move Darnell to Left Tackle? This makes no sense.
If he trades down, he’s only doing it to, grab a wr, but also have another pick this year, or he’s keeping 9 and grabbing 1 of the 3, he knows what position to be elite in and wins more games and we only really got 2 of them with djm and ka
I would HATE this draft too. No way I draft Latham instead of a stud receiver or a stud defensive player.
75% I guess we’ll find out🐻⬇️
There's ZERO chance Poles passes on Nabers for a future 2nd!! SMOKE SCREEN 101
I’m with you! This would make me feel like the Bears are bearing!
that trade would be absolutely awful.
It's one thing for Schrager to pass on Nabers, that alone is stupid in its own right. But then to trade back 6 spots and only get a FUTURE 2nd round pick - not even a current one - OMG, that has to be the dumbest suggested trade in mock history. The NFL Network should fire or at least demote him immediately just based on this utter stupidity.
There is no freakin way this deal is going to happen. If any of the top 3 WR or Alt are there at 9 and Poles doesn't take one of them I would highly question what Poles thoughts are on that move. Bears trading the #9 pick for practically nothing is the new media talking point, you see this in almost every mock draft out there.
So trade away a blue chip wr which with Allen’s age and one yr deal I would consider it an area of need, to draft a cb which is our strongest position??
Typically trades like this going from mid teens to around 10 costs a future 1st. Think of what the Bears gave up for JF1. Yes there’s a QB tax on trade ups but that’s still about the value you’d expect since the Bears gave up a future 1st along with a 4th and 5th to go from 20 to 11 about the same value as 15 to 9
To fair to shelter we did the same thing with Jalen Carter last year somewhat
Am I high? I’m watching his mock rn and he drafted the db from Toledo. Why we talking about Latham?
90% confident Caleb will thrive with us. Just too much talent not to. And that trade back would be a D+ 🥴 passing on Nabers and getting a future pick is the reason. Latham as an overall pick if we target a trade back is not bad. But I want what Schrager smokin.
Over the last few years, the Bama linemen have not done well in the NFL.
Jo Alt will have a great career like Joe Thomas and his father, he's solid
Given the record of Eberflus and Poles do you actually trust them? Their record is their record so i dont give a damn what moves or rebuild they are trying to do they to this point have not won shit and in typical bears fashion its always next year.
That dude high as hell
I won’t do it either but didn’t you mock the bears trade up for MHJ WITH The chargers and the bears give up a future 2nd round pick, I mean if you won’t take that deal the chargers won’t take ours
Trading down to 15 for a future Chase Claypool is lunacy.
Couldn’t agree with you more Harrison. Peter Schrager, as he usually does with these type of things, out-smarts his common sense in going in a completely ludicrous direction as if he was almost just looking for clicks.
Poles ace the free-agent and trade market, but he has screw this draft up.4 pick for the draft, crazy. Trading #1 for a 2024 1st (2) 2nd 2025 1st / #2 for a 1st and 2nd 3rd with the #3 draft Malik Nabors, with #9 draft Turner or Verse. with the 3 second picks, the center out of Oregon, Xavier Worthy, DL. 3 round draft TE. However, all of the trades would have to be in motion before free agency. Fields would still be a Bear.
😂 Apirl Fools was 2 weeks ago Pete
Peter Shrager was doing lines of "nose candy" prior to making this mock draft 😅
If we trade down I’d rather go DLine over upgrading Braxton Jones. But I wouldn’t do either over Nabors. Good point also about having 3 second round picks next year
Shrager must be smoking something weird while reporting it. lol
After a certain point mainstream media mock drafts simply become who can make the biggest hot take to piss people off and get more clicks/views… I’m sure the higher ups told him to shake things up for this mock…
If the bears did this. It would just prove how actually got awful the ownership & management truly is. Even though we know it. It would just solidify it.
Looking at the oline, there's still a ? At Center and RG, Teven Jenkins is injury prone and due for a contract extension, Jones is just ok. The only thing they have going is RT. Going Oline isn't terrible.
Nate Davis showed flashes at times but also dealt with injuries and held out due to personal reasons. He's been an average to above average guard in the NFL prior to that. Honestly, Jones is criminally underrated. The numbers reflect an above-average tackle with an albeit low ceiling. He’ll never be elite. Ryan Bates adds insurance for the interior three and Matt Pryor is a SOLID swing option. Protection isn't nearly as poor as everyone suggests.
@@zackrodriguez2710 there's to many maybe. Jones is fine, if Wright is elite and that's still a maybe until proven otherwise. This line is in trouble if Jenkins or Wright goes down for any long period of time. There's no one you can't point to as a sure thing for 17 games yet. But they do have potential, yes.
@@arizonaron7814 I mean, you kinda contradicted yourself as Wright played in all 17 games. 💀 theirs no way anyone could justify passing up on the talent and ceiling of a Malik Nabers. I just can't hear a coherent argument in favor. Wright was borderline top 10 playing against premier edge rushers his rookie season. I mean, HE HANDELED Crosby with his outside shoulder. Jenkins's health is a variable but the dude could become the very best at his position. I'm really not worried, especially with the quality depth we already added.
@@zackrodriguez2710 In Wright case I mean rely on for 17 games to play at an elite level for all 17 games. Jones is solid if you can leave Wright on an island.
@@zackrodriguez2710 at the end of the day, this line gave up 50 sacks last year and only made marginal improvements in terms of adding to the roster.
Absolutely not! Even if that future 2nd was this year. Either a 2nd this year or a 1st next year at minimum. Otherwise it's Odunze to Da Bears
His first mock had the bears taking a CB. Schrager has no idea what he is talking about.
I concur......Harrison.
I hate this mock draft trade!!! It's illogical. SMH.
Someone has lost their freaking mind😂😂😂😂😂
I’m more curious to know what he was smoking to think the Giants will trade up for McCarthy which will sacrifice Day 2 capital to give him what Jones already lacks- an actual playmaking WR 😂
Also I think Cards are only trading back if they get Minnesota’s 2 #1’s otherwise no more drunk Keim to whiff on MHJ like he did when he chose Isaiah Simmons over CeeDee Lamb when his franchise QB was begging for his college teammate.
I dont like it cause he doesnt play LT. Now he's going to the NFL and going to jump to LT? That's a very bad idea. Also Darnell Wright allowed 7 sacks last year at RT, I dont think we moving him to the blindside.
Trading down to 15 SUCKS
Who did the colts pick?
So you have Nabers in your lap, you dont take him, you trade down for future capital and no extra capital in this draft...Latham is a good player, but he is a RT, we have a RT already. WRIGHT sucked at LT at Tennessee.
I would projectile vomit if that happens!
AT #9 Malik Nabors or Jared Verse
Harrison is being a little hypocritical here. He suggests we could trade up for MHJ using Carolina’s ‘25 2nd rounder, but is disgusted by a similar offer coming to Chicago
WTF are you talking about? Harrison suggestion is nothing like what Peter is talking about. Schrager is a no nothing imbecile.
not a chance... If Malik Nabers is there at 9, trading down to 15 is an F. If Nabers is gone, A.
He must have studied at the Ryan Pace school of trading
Is Peter sniffing glue again?
Draft needs to get moved to the first week of April. This is getting ridiculous
Nobody has to worry about Schrager being right.
I would lose my mind!!!
Schragar is crazy
Great job
Thank you! BEAR DOWN!
Speculation as recreation. The draft will arrive.
I'm not trading Nabers unless it's a 2nd this year and next.
That ain’t happening…but we should at least get a 2nd this year.
Peter hitting the glass pipe too hard
43 percent
No chance this is happening.
Peter S lost his GMFB gig….I’ll cut him some slack…but this mock blows.
I’d trade back for a future second
No way wound I do that.
Peter Shrager is just another guy who believes the Bears are the same team we've always been but we are not. Ryan Poles is breaking the cycle. smh
Lol Alabama makes ok guards not OTs. Wasted of first round pick.
Take a WR at 9, NO TRADE!
So.. we pass on Nabers for Lathem yeah that’s guy is on crack
