  • Here is a short film on fitting AN fuel lines to my Suzuki Hayabusa gen1 Streetfighter motorcycle. I hope this film can help, I found not using a grinder to cut the lines was a big deal and using electrical tape worked the best. Trying to stop the braided line from spreading out after cutting it and then trying to get the fitting on was the hardest part but when you get the it, it all goes well. This method can be used for car fuel line as well.
    The parts I used for this system is;
    AN-6 Slim line 30-micron fuel filter.
    JDM speed high flow fuel pump.
    X2 AN-6 quick release fuel adaptors.
    AN-6 Fuel kit with multiple unions and about 2 meters of braided line.
    AN-6 Adjustable fuel pressure regulator.
    Now I have the fuel system finished I can move onto the loom.

    A 1mm stainless cutting disc on an angle grinder is the easiest for cutting braided hose. It's a pain either way though. Not sure I would be scrimping on fuel lines though...seems a rather risky way to save a few quid!

    Hello Paul, What is the right connector to use on the Fuel Rail fast connector? AN6 - 5/16" ?
    I have an external filter on my busa...but i pretend more safety with hoses like u did.

    I'm doing the same to my 00 Busa, I have a AEM 25-305BK regulator, it's saying to use the bottom port as the outlet (port you can adjust), but that seems wrong to me because the fuel would take the path of least resistance and just return back into the tank. How would the regulator build pressure if there is an open line back to the tank?? What am I missing here?

      That sounds extremely strange. Is there any chance you could send me a photo of the port and the valve?

      It is a JDM pimp from ebay. It seems to be working very well and not a bad price.👍👍👍
