Trusses Arrive & Box Beam Assembly Begins On Our Straw Bale Home

- In today's video, our roof trusses arrive, so it's time to top off these straw bale walls to prepare for the truss installation. We need to do two things before the trusses can be placed. First, we need to top the bale walls with a box beam (think top plate on a stud-framed wall) that will be used to compress the bales and provide a base for the roof structure. Next, we need to add a pony wall (short stud-framed wall) on top of the box beam on the south side of the house to give us a "high side" for the trusses. Here, I'm laying out the box beam structure and logic and getting started on placement. It will take a couple of videos to get it all put together, so check back to see the progress!

@@MidlifePrices yeah lets goooo!!! you wouldn't imagine how excited I get when you release new videos xD and I bet you guys make some progress on daily basis so you could release a new video on each day and finish it up with some commentary at the end to get what 15 min worth of footage ?? and I saw something on youtube about strategies of building your channel with posting 5-7 videos in a week for a month that basically your channel will start getting more promotions from youtube and basically that's how you build your channel! well now is the right time for you guys to do that because you have a lot of work and content going on lol so now you can get all thousands of subscribers lol look at GDP !! they used to do that at beginning post like 4-5 videos in a week and in no time they got up to 30k subscribers lol well im not even sure they know about that tactic youtube uses to attract subscribers but I've seen other videos talk about it and that's how you grow big! and believe me it will all workout in your favor! later on you wont have as much of exciting work ahead of you and I'm not sure you will have what it takes to build big channel quick
