put a rubber glove between 2 sponges then place them inside a drinking glass, fold the glove over the edges of the glass and you have a homemade fleshlight.
I just realized this guys house must be amazing to live in. It's always clean and you have hacks to make things easier all over the house! This guy just does chores, uploads it on UA-cam and makes a bunch of money while doing it. Amazing!
I often use melamine sponges as dish sponges. I cut them into thirds so they last longer, and I try not to get them soaking wet so they don't fall apart. The finer foam means a little bit of washing-up liquid goes much further, they're gentle enough but abrasive enough to clean even non-stick pans, and because they do wear out more quickly I don't have to worry about disinfecting my sponge since it's changed every few days anyway. They also polish cutlery much better than standard sponges.
Manpag You know thats not good for your dishes at all. Melamine is just like very fine sandpaper so it's actually sanding a fine layer off your dishes every time you wash them.
Don't use melamine sponges on sinks, tubs or toilets if they're painted! Cheaper toilets are often concrete painted with a white glaze, rather than full porcelain. Melamine sponges will strip that paint away.
this is great it came out as I was finishing up cleaning out an apartment and I was able to clean the bathroom so well that my landlord thought I spent days on it when it was only and hour
Being heavily into automotive detailing, I personally wouldn't recommend using a magic eraser on your car's wheels, and, even though it wasn't mentioned, definitely don't use it on your paint. When you use it on your wheels, it will begin to strip any protective coating on them, and if you use one frequently enough, you can start to degrade the clear coat and you end up with peeling, ugly wheels. I'd recommend getting a dedicated wheel cleaning product. You can go to your local Walmart or AutoZone and have plenty of options. The one automotive thing I would use a magic eraser for is the interior windows. If your car has plastic and vinyl in your interior, as most cars do, these materials cause off-gassing when the sun heats them up, and this off-gassing sticks to your windows and is very hard to get off. Get the magic eraser wet and wipe in circular motions to make quick work of this off-gassing layer. Just make sure to have some paper towels, or even better, microfiber rags, ready, in case water from the magic eraser drips onto your dashboard or door panels, as it will cause discoloration in the vinyl and plastic.
Household Hackers, Thanks for the great ideas. I especially like not using balloons. But using sponges instead. The bathtub cleaning is another one l like too. I wasn't sure those white sponges. Would work that well but l will try it. 😊🥳
MY MAN. This video taught me about the wonders of buying bulk melamine AKA magic sponges and its saved me money for years. Just thought I'd report back in 2020 with results. And now people think I'm a goddamn wizard when I tell them about it. THANK YOU.
I tried the fabric softener "trick" a few years ago. Done great on the clothes. However, upon further inspection of the dryer, there was fabric softener slung everywhere. So much so, that it even ran down the outside of the dryer. It also clogged up the vent hose leading to the outside. Wont make that mistake again.
"If your sponge gets dirty from all the dishes put it in the dish washer" If I had a dish washer I wouldn't care much for the condition of my sponge lol
If you want incredibly sparkly nails. Use one coat of sparkly nail polish, then swipe some polish on to the melamine sponge and dab on to your nails. It soaks up the clear and leaves the sparkles.
The best way I've found to keep wheels clean is by keeping them waxed with a synthetic spray wax or even a waterless car wash product. Brake dust can then be wiped away with nothing more than a dry microfiber towel.
After you wring out your sponge, just lean it against your window so the sun (or whatever light your window gets) shines right on it. Not only will it dry your sponge, the sunlight will help to disinfect it. No need to use clips.
Those magic erasers come in useful for cleaning a record stylus. There are entire videos on UA-cam on how to do it. I didn't know you could get them so cheaply on eBay. I might order a 100 pack. That should last a lifetime.
I have to say, those Magic Eraser sponges are the shit. I worked as a janitor for awhile and I was trying to find something, anything, to remove those black scuff marks from the bottom of doors from when people's shoes hit them. Nothing took them off and I was at the hardware store trying to find some harsh chemical that would remove them and the lady recommended the Magic Eraser sponges and I said "yeah right" but bought them anyway. And I was shocked at how easy they took the marks off. Just like erasing a pencil mark from paper. But they do act just like an eraser and little pieces fall off as you use them.
HouseHoldHacker, did you know that if you (wear gloves) mixed hot water and powdered dishwasher soap while cleaning any surface that gets wet like: toilet, sink, bathtub/shower, mirrors,..etc (any surface that you don't walk on for safety sack) Not only cleans but adding the powdered dishwasher teflon surface which repels water, stains and keeps it clean around 3x times longer than normal cleaning. And if you add lemon juice it will help remove rust.
DIY Shelf What you need -Cardboard strips (any size) -Tape -Things to add to shelf -Paint Or Markers (optional) Color or decorate cardboard. Tape to wall. Put things on shelf PROFITTTT
Hang on so you are saying "oh no the sponge is dirty because I was washing my dishes in the sink to clean it let's put it in the dishwasher that we didn't use for the dishes which got the sponge dirty in the first place" 😂wtf
Taras would say: if u cut a sponge in half BOOM you have two sponges now, awesome!

Thanks! I'd never thought of cleaning things with the sponges I buy!
Thought triple H stood for Hunter Hurst Helmsley
Magic Erasers certainly last more than one use! Maybe if you have not cleaned in years it is different, but for normal use they last.
I clean for a living and even with wearing gloves I would never stick my hands in any toilet!😣
I almost puked when he did that🤮
nice video householdhacker

*Poors a truck load of salt into water*
Monet Xchange would LOVE this!
can you make a video on how to fix scuffs and scratches on phone screens?

Try using a fabric softener sheet to clean your tub. Just get it wet and it takes all scum off right crazy fast.
this vid was 80% ''you can also clean this with a sponge''
So can you tell us if there is a difference between Magic Eraser and the Generic 100 pack?
can I have a link where you got the huge amount of magic erasers.
Where do I find this elbow grease you speak of? Amazon?
