    You really shouldn't put sticky strips outside. You'll catch things that are supposed to be there like bees, butterflies. Even bats or birds can get caught and it is really unfortunate. Keep those indoors where the pests actually pester.

      you are overthinking it it only has the stickyness of syrup birds and bats can easily get away and for the bees if theres a nest nearby it will send a perimiter fence for bees because they will see their dead bretheren and leave

    Why do so many people have to say rude things???!!! A lot of DIYers love these hacks. If you don't have something of REAL value to say, why not just move on to something you're really into!!!?????
    And for those who didn't understand using a glass jar or mason jar for the tissue:
    if you look all around UA-cam it's just a way to redecorate. Usually people people use different colors. And often have a set decorative jars for other items as well. And often it's because they can't find a tissue box color or size they like, or that fits in an area they want it.
    And often these hacks mention something like a glove in place of pipe tape when the tape isn't handy. Or when you want to use something you already have on hand. Rather than spending time, gas, and more dollars for one item -:)
    Sadly so many people 'pepper' other people's work with rude and/or nasty remarks without a thought to making something perhaps of better quality... If you've watch a Life Hacks video and can't say something of value about a couple of the hacks, why not pick one you did like, or just move on? Thanks for your time -:)

      I think some comments aren’t meant to be rude, but more to point out a possible problem with the hack or the statement associated with it. Take the scrambled egg hack. Using the drink shaker is clever and worth trying but it was funny that he says this was better because there’s less to clean up, when really it’s about the same.

    I don't get the 'eggs in a shaker' bit... I have not had extra dirty dishes with eggs since I was about 8 years old (some 26 years ago), after the second time I made eggs, I realized how *EASY AND SIMPLE* it is to just rinse your bowl and fork and eat the eggs without a fuss... It literally takes seconds (Surely less time that finding your flooberdoo and all of the whatchamas that come along with that), and you end up with no 'extra' dirty dishes... In addition, even if you didn't want to rinse them before use, is it really so inconvenient a thing to have a bowl and a fork to wash that you had to find a different device to reduce the number of dirty dishes by 1?
    It's*one extra dish*, one! We aren't talking about a sink full of messy frustration with caked on aggravation, it's a bowl... Or a fork... Whichever you decide is the extra one... lol Come on man.
    ;-)

      "Rinse the bowl and fork"
      ........I really hope you mean AFTER you washed it with soap. Because otherwise if you're just using water, you're risking getting sick.

    • @jacobwcrosby
      @jacobwcrosby 7 років тому

      ThatWeirdGirl Soap actually does very little when it comes to cleaning dishes. Especially when they are not left out and crusty when you wash them. So, no... I actually mean rinse your dishes right after using them, and if you like, you can use your hand to wipe them out... Or, are you one of those people that *actually* thinks that sponge or rag on your counter is clean... Because if you are using that to clean your dishes, then the soap is pointless, and you are better off eating from dirty dishes.

    • @tonymercer3058
      @tonymercer3058 7 років тому +5

      Jacob Crosby it isn't even an extra dish cause with the bowl there is the bowl and fork and with the mixer there is the bottom and top. still two things to wash lol

    You need to stop telling people to add salt to eggs before cooking them. Salt comes after because it starts breaking down the eggs. They come out fluffier and better if you salt them after cooking.

    Why kill bugs outside when you can use a repellent such as a citronella plant or citronella candles? It's a waste of time and money to put your Kleenex in a jar. What's wrong with a Kleenex box? What's the difference of using a bowl and a fork as opposed to a shaker? You still have to wash either one of them.

    The egg hack isn't a hack. It's just replacing a bowl with a different container. You're probably saving 1 fork from needing to be cleaned. How stupid can you be to advertise a hack that ISNT. a hack? Also, how does turning a mason jar into a tissue jar save money? Again, this isn't a hack.

    • @iczyg
      @iczyg 8 років тому +4

      The egg hack is even worse because the shaker is a 2 part container and is also a deeper container than a bowl making the 2 parts take more time to clean for the same result. Cleaning a fork takes no time at all. The tissue one just wastes time and a Mason jar. Wtf.
