I am growing mine now on a moss board plank inspired by the sydneyplantguy and it has been sizing up very fast. It has not fenestrated yet but has leaves the size of a palm and has lost most of its silver stripes. Hopefully, winter won't slow it down too much. :)

Growing mine for more than a year now. Struggled a bit at the beginning to set it up correctly After trying multiple plank techniques... (Hard and heavy to move, to shower...aso)
Finally put it on a sphagnum Moss pole, way way lighter and easy to take Care of.
Also nurishing the Roots like nobody's business. 🤣
A very rewarding plant (growing like a weed as you said in mid seasons), very pretty in its juvenile form.
I find it to be less attractive when matured, so chop Chop chop and propagate. Sell them, gift them, or just plant them back in the pot !
Regarding Price, a year ago they were around 80€ in France and not so often seen, now down to 40€ and very available.
I would recommend this plant to someone already familiar with the Monstera genus and Care, and with a climber.
Definitely in my top 10 plants, because it's beautiful, weird, forgiving, resilient, rewarding and very different. ❤️
Thank you so much for sharing !

soo happy you talk about the dubia today! I'm waiting for the lady of the post to bring one to me!!! I wonder what is the best to make him grow without having him stuck on the wall and still be able to move him🤣🤣🤣

I just got one it’s 3 leave cutting Really expensive in Mexico. $600 to be exact. That’s like $70 dollars. Soo excited to see it grow. Thanks for all the tips.

Mine has been growing like a weed as well. 3-4 leaves per month by a south-east facing window in Scotland. I'd say its hands down one of the fastest growing monstera I own.

I got a one leaf cutting at the end of March I think, and now I have 8 new leaves.
I really like the silveriness of the juvenile leaves. At the moment, it grows but doesn't seem to be getting any bigger.
But that's ok. I'm fine with the small silvery leaves, I'll be happy if it starts growing bigger leaves too. We'll see.

That’s very interesting you talked about it growing faster in fall/spring. I was just noticing mine was taking off now in fall!

It’s really a pretty plant! I’m so new to plant keeping, it looked like a peperomia at first, and now I wonder how often I’ve actually seen this in baby form here in the southeast US.

In the U.S. east coast, Dubia became pretty available here. Not cheap per se, but I've seen it show up in many house plant stores around here.

That's awesome. I am in New Hampshire and I could not find Dubia ANYWHERE. I had to order it on line. The size I wanted made my wallet burst out laughing, so I got this tiny one with 4 leaves. That was couple of months ago. Now I need to repot it with a plank ASAP. It wants to grow and CLIMB!!

The one I have was doing good, the leaves sizing up. I moved it an it was not happy, leaves are back to baby size. 😀💚

I've had a massive infestation of scale on a hedera helix. it was so bad the entire area under the pot was as if someone spilled a fizzy drink and left it. But that was when I was situated in Portsmouth, which is super south UK so i'm not sure if it has to do something with the temperature. I've have not had an encounter with scale in Scotland yet. My mother has constant battles with it on her orchids back in my hometown in Greece. It's a very weird pest. Can never tell if they are dead or alive. I find that dusty plants tend to attract them more often.

I did have scale on my orchids about 15 years or so ago. No idea where they came from. And it's not something that I looked for woth new plants then. I do now.
I didnt notice until a few plants started going down hill. They did seem to get everywhere in diffent rooms too which may have been me not sure. But they left other plants alone. They were a pain to get rid of at the time I think alcohol would have been more effective. And I'm in the UK. But they are not ones I hear about at all.
I am more careful for the most place hehe
I have seen not huge but not small dudia locally at a garden centre for 25 and 30. I love them but it is the what to grow them up that puts me off. And I like the smaller leaves than the more mature leaves which puts me up more.
