I just watched the behind the scenes of Ratt and their is definitely footage of Ratt on the Invasion of Your Privacy tour their is a scene that shows Warren Demartini moving up on the riser and plays the solo on give it all and it shows the Invasion stage so theirs definitely footage out there that’s haven’t been shown yet but has only been shown to MTV and the people that were making the behind the scenes I just find it very interesting....
madbradwilson this and iron maiden's powerslave tour are at the top. I also liked motley crue's girls, girls, girls stage set. all very different, but cool. kiss has always had good ones too. hot in the shade was enormous.
I saw Ratt on the Invasion tour in Charleston, WV July 13, 1985...the day of Live Aid. I had front row, stage left, right in front of Warren. As a lead guitar player, I was able to see how he played Lay it Down and Round in Round, which were never transcribed correctly in any of the guitar magazines. They were amazing. Bon Jovi opened for them after they had released 7800 Farenheit and were also awesome. This was one of the best shows I saw in the 80s.
I saw this tour on 8/22/85 in Nashville TN. I was 14. That stage was my favorite . The flares that shot over the crowd were badass. That tour was my favorite .
This was leaked by a roadie for the band back in the day. I've also talked to someone that has worked with the band over the years. He asked Juan Croucier about footage. He said Juan told him he has mountains of old VHS tapes. Behind the scenes footage, concert footage, and more. However Warren DeMaritini is not keen on the idea of putting the footage out there. Let's hope one day it happenes.
@@lucianoluciano4632 Totally. I talked to a guy that worked with Ratt during the 2007-08 tours. He was filming for the band, but now keeps that footage private. He is not allowed to put them out per the bands request. He said he also offered Juan $500 for one of his old 80's VHS tapes. But Juan refused. Apparently in 1985 Juan bought a home camera and had a roadie film a bunch of shows from behind the soundboard on tripod, during the 85-87 tours. What a collection that must be.
I still can’t believe theirs not a full live footage of this exact show except the one you uploaded with Ratt opening for Ozzy Osbourne in England in early 1986 at the end of the Invasion Tour it just surprises me their has to be a full live recording of this show somewhere (Even though theirs not) possibly the members of Ratt might have a couple of full shows with footage like this one that were recorded from the sound board people but of course they wouldn’t be allowed to release those shows because of issues with the other members that could cause a lawsuit but I just hope one day they can put their differences aside and release an anniversary box set of The Invasion of Your Privacy album/Tour with a couple of live shows from the tour on DVD that could be amazing but sadly I don’t see that ever happening
I'm sure there is roadie footage somewhere, it was their biggest tour of their career. So the snippets have to exist in some form. But that footage is confidential at this point, and we may never see it. It's still such a shame that there isn't even a fan bootleg of the American tour. But anyway, nothing we can do about it.
Rattmaster86 That would be a lot better I would probably follow the band around and try and go to all of their shows on the Invasion tour to compare all the differences with each concert and see the band improve as the tour went on because I have noticed lots of changes that went on during the tour usually other bands their concerts are pretty similar with the introductions and every and singing the songs sound very similar but with this tour all of the shows are different and unique in their own way
Stephen was pretty unique, in that he never sounded the same from the show to show. His crowd banter was always different also. Stephen has said, his style was always very impromptu. Like I'm also a fan of Motley Crue, and they have loads of footage. But if you watch them, each show is a mirror image of each other. Not saying that's a bad thing. Just shows the difference between bands.
I was there, except it was at Mesker Amphitheater in Evansville, Indiana! Really loved the show (my 2nd Ratt experience). They played at Roberts Stadium the year before, but it was a package of Mama's Boys/Fastway/Twisted Sister/Ratt. TS had to bolt, so they swapped places with Fastway. That was fine because Fastway was awesome (first time I ever heard of them) and were great lead ins for Ratt. I think I preferred the Invasion show since I was closer to the stage and I loved that album just as much as Cellar.
I saw them in St.Petersburg Florida on this tour in October if I remember correctly, Bon Jovi opened for them. :D Visually a great show, audio was horrible.
The announcers says "good evening Omaha" and the location is documented to this exact date according to online sources that track the bands tour date history.
@@MetalMaster101 Something is off then... I can't see them swinging back to Omaha (90mi from Sioux City) two months later... makes no logistical sense. Bon Jovi was opening for Ratt...
I tried several times 5 years ago. He never replies to anybody. Other people in the bootleg community have tried also. Same thing, guy just doesn't respond. There's a lot of people that would to get their hands on that footage. But nothing we can do about it.
I’m sure he’s probably not able to disclose the entire VHS footage because it could end up with a lawsuit but it would be very cool to get in contact with person that recorded the footage.
I don't have any info. He is only known from his UA-cam channel. Myself and other traders and interested people have tried talking to him. But he never replies to any comments.
Yeah, it's clear he doesn't want to be bothered. He knows he has something rare in his hands, and that a lot of people will ask him about it. He might be hoarding it, to make some money on it somehow. Can't think of anything else.

The original owner of the video uploaded the video this way. Believe me, I wish I had the actual video to share in good quality. I actually made it a bit better by cropping off the black space. You can see the original version at the channel BurgundyDecker...
They were really young here. Things were going well I'm guessing career wise. This looks like the same setting for when they did the video,"you're in love". Karen
Yes it's the Invasion tour stage. It's one of the rare chances we get to see it since there is no full concert video of this tour. What a shame there isn't, because this tour was them at their absolute peak. All we have is this little clip, the "you're in love" video, and photos, to use as a reference. We just have to use our imagination. That's what I do when I listen to the Invasion audio shows.
@@MetalMaster101 I'm not sure what I'm doing but hope you see this. Last night at work I came across a video of Stephen Pearcy I haven't seen before. The song is,"Ten Miles Wide". It's not with any of the RATT band members. The music sounds like RATT but isn't. Have never seen these people before. He's older in this so it's a more current video. His voice was perfect in this. Lots of Satonic symbolism in this which I'm hesitant about. I don't think this is something the original RATT band would sing. Just really surprised when I came across it. Thought I'd let you know. Have a good day wherever you are and whatever you're doing. Karen
Yeah that's a song from one of his solo albums. It's most likely written with Erik Ferentinos, his guitar player for his solo band and albums for the last 20 years. The satanic stuff I don't take seriously. Somebody probably thought it was a cute idea to get attention. I doubt there is anything to it. It's like how Motley Crue was accused if being satanic in the early days. It was all just for publicity. Yeah know, to get some extra clicks.
Never underestimate a camera man's ability to focus on the bass player during the guitar solo 😂
