The 4 link rear with the adjustable sway bar caught my eye right off the bat , and those extra large from control arms are massive good grief.. looks like it's have to add one of these vekta5e to my rc 1/5 collection lol ... great introduction man and yeah you need A/C in your shop!!!

Stock tires can hold 12s easy. They’re actually great street tires. I built, converted my vekta 2 years ago and have loved it!! The transmission cover is awesome and the new rear axle setup is a cherry on top. V1 could already handle mass power but now the v2 can take even more Insane !! Kraken killed it as usual. The biggest complaint I’ve heard from people is getting parts from the website. So hopefully they can keep parts in stock now. But helluva truck! I have the vesla too and both are amazing, durable, ez to work on and fun! Looking forward to your first run w the vekta!! Keep it up thunder and congrats ! 🍻

This thing is awesome ! I love leopard motors have run 12s in my kraton for like 2 years now crazy to think it’s still running tough after daily abuse the diffs is another story 😂

@@chrisryder4709 motor is great honestly leopard in my opinion out shines castle it’s like a castle for power but reliability of a hobby wing set up also the max 4 is a great esc didn’t have it when I got into 12s but for sure the top esc for 12s

That's one insane RC buggy, I can't believe it comes with a Max 4 ESC as stock equipment and you just need a radio system. I wonder how much a vehicle like this goes for new.

Guess I gotta add a MAX4 / 70125 combo to the roller I ordered, add my proline paddles, and rip it hard next winter. Someone need to put it through its paces in winter conditions :) :) :)

I just got into large scale RC this year with an SCX6 and I just got a Losi Super Rock Rey i have yet to take for a run as its been holding steady around 100-105*f up here in Canada. independant shock each wheel > solid axle all day long, it works in 1:! ...but in RC, just makes it handle like crap. All for bling!

Great share! That Leo 58113-530kv is a 20S capable motor. The Leo58113-870kv is the 12S variant. I’m curious why they didn’t just use the HW 70125 motor🤔. Do you think the HW70125 would fit the stock motor mount?

@@thunderrc Cool, thanks for checking on that! I really dig the quality of the build with this new Vetka! I think you mentioned that with 16/50 gearing, the Vetka is a 50mph RC? What are the reduction gear ratios or teeth for the diffs and input/output gears (if equipped). I’m trying to figure out the reduction by gear box like I’ve done for X-Maxx, kraton, 5iveT 2.0, and some others:) no worries if you don’t have time, just trying to decide how I would want yo run this one:)
Yes! HW70125 is a direct fitment, and the plate is designed for it. We ended up going with Leopard Motor because the cost of the HW70125 would shoot the cost of the car to well over 2K! We tested the Leopard, and it performs fantastic, lighter weight by half at least!
@@krakenrc - Fantastic job and I have a lot of experience with Leopard 58113 series motors. I agree, the Leo58113 is a great match up with Hobbywing ESCs and I have used the 870kv with the Max4 in a heavily modded 5iveT 2.0 conversion with great success… I think 67mph with 23P/62S gearing. That’s the upper limit for that motor on a 42lb vehicle but I did recently switch to the 70125 and was able to hit 91mph in the same truck (VERY different gearing though). All this to say that the Leo58113 is a perfect choice for the usable range of speed with some room to spare:)

DO NOT treat that thing like your Vesla lol. I loved my vekta but it’s not going to take the jumps. It’s so heavy. Upgrade the lower rear trailing arm heim joints to metal. I ripped one of my plastic ones out like nothing.
