Pledge of faith I hardly break
Struggle to return
Blurry mind so hypnotized
Fast enough to burn
Wonder where you are?
Tristessa
Soul take soul as eye take eye
I will wait for you
Want to believe your wish to receive
Want to believe in you
Hang on to your life
Tristessa
I love you true
Surely i do
I love you true
Surely I do
Surely I do
Surely I do
no, no, no
Did you ever wake up and find yourself alone?
Did you ever wake up far from home?
Want to believe your wish to receive
Want to believe in you
Tristessa

Chamberlain drumming.... Best drummer ever for me. What an animal.
Stood right in front of him very close for Gish and Siamese Dream. You are not wrong sir. He is at the top of my drummers list.
Agree. Dude is insane
@@BubbaZen10 my top 5
1. Moon
2. Bongo
3. Peart
4. Clive Burr
5. Jimmy Chamberlin
@@radiohead68 Right on, MAIDEN!
@@PMurray2694 who is bongo?
Chamberlin's iconic drumming and corgan's unique psycho way of playing the guitar were just meant to be together.
Billy and Jimmy are both musical beasts!! I just love how Billy plays his energetic solos!! SO GOOD!
I love how Jimmy drums
Jimmy accidentally begins playing "Bury Me" in the beginning, plays it off like a pro.
oh yeah, on hi hat
My name is Tristessa, and i was named after this song
Beautiful
Marry me?
nice lmao
The songs about a prostitute.
@@o.g5211 XDDDD
We did it everyone. we willed the guitar back to it's master
sounds even better live then studio
It really does
Jimmy’s drumming is insane on this. So much faster
Fucking awesome. At their best..
nailed that solo
saw pumpkins at the Breslin Center in East Lansing in 94 ! Loudest show Ive ever seen!
Just fell upon this. Wow, blistering.
Great vibes here! Thanks
ahhhhhhhh i could die and go to heaven! such beautiful Pumpkin Nostalgia
I was hoping for the wammy bar on that solo. Such one of my favorite guitar solos.
Smashing Pumpkins for Gish was one of the best bands i have ever seen. Seeing them that close was so cool. Saw them for Siamese Dream too. Stood right in front of Billy. Pissed him off. It already wasn;t as good by then. But THIS? THIS was about the best.
BubbaZen10 wait what how did you piss him off haha
@@ryancovarrubias6639 i need to know as well LOL
wait how did you piss him off
@@alexmalch oh man, i apologize to the other guys for not seeing their posts!
He got mad at ppl talking and goes "You know, our slow songs are not a chance for you to talk." And i said no, but they're a great time to go to the bathroom and turned around and went. Everyone laughed and he stared daggers at me!
@@alexmalch Made it back up front just in time for Siva. He was still giving me the evil eye! I was just smiling.
ROCK.
My favorite song !
magical! real rock n roll!
No dislikes, just as it should be.
You had to say something. 2 dislikes now
This is so metal!
That snare roll @1:06
Single strokes with a triplet feel to the rim shots. Never found anything like it since I first heard Gish in '92!
dude im 9 years old and my name is tristessa1!!!!!!
Billy was a lot happier with hair wasn't he.
and he was mostly likely on the good drugs
@@boosh90 considering part of rhinoceros is just made up stuff he wrote down while on acid very likely lol
I believe the date should be 01-28-92.
ohh god, he got long hair and it's cool
Why don't they ever play this live? 😢
where is JAMES
D'arcy soooo fckin beauty ❤
@chetalk My thoughts exactly!
Seriously?! Bro. im 12 and my name is Tristessa, i was named after this song tho.
You wouldn't be happy if you were balding on top in a profession like his.
Back when he actually tried to sing live....
With the way he sang back then, I'm sure he damaged his voice a bit and that's why he has a poorer (or at least more laid back and less passionate) voice nowadays. Eddie Vedder's the same way. Some people can't belt them out like they could in their 20s
Or maybe he just doesn't give a fuck anymore...I dunno haha
Possibly Jimmys finest drumming performance?
I wouldn't say that.
@SlimJ1980 and on a ton of drugs
3:21 - HOLY FU*&ING STINK NOISE! Pumpkins were my GODS from 1990 until NOW. I was a starving musician in Kalamazoo MI, and Smashing Pumpkins were my lifeline and my inspiration. Jimmy Chamberlin in the same emotional space with Billy Corgan was meant to be in the parallel musical universe with Mozart, Bach, ZORN, Zappa, and ultimately better than Tool and anyone that came after them.
