Good tutorial. I'd like to have a nice range finder. but it's just another thing to buy at this point. I've just been using a cheap golf rangefinder that does angle, and Strayloc to build scope tapes. Someday, I'll probably but something with Applied Ballistics in it.
Hey big Frank? I think any range finder does the trick, but the fact that this one calculates your shot in seconds, makes it easier. Even scope tape on the turret helps too. Thank you my good friend 👍🏼

Que tal Jose? Una vez que conecta el celular ya está conectado al rangefinder, solo se necesita conectarlo para cambiar los ajustes. Pero si quiere tenerlo conectado, tal vez intentar con otro celular. Espero que ayude. Gracias

Hi my Friend...It works well at short distances between 50 and 150 meters in PCP FX for example with 27 gr SLUGS...is it accurate?

Hello friend, in my opinion, it works on any pcp or firearm you use it on, as long as you input the right information in the ABU and test your point of impact at different distances. I hope that answers your question.

Hello friend, the kilo1000 doesn't ask for the twist rate. You have to match your point of impact to your Strelok or ballisting app AND your BDX. And for the side clicks for the windage, if you don't have the BaseMap, get a anemometer to read the wind and input the wind speed and direction on the BDX app to give you the right windage drift adjustment.
Did you measure the center of your scope to the center of your barrel? I know on strelok you have too?

It's based on the direction you are pointing the range finder. The phone is just to get the distance reading from the range finder to calculate the adjustments.
Nice video, if you want to use the sig saeur alone after you input the data from phone app , can you update the wind data ( wind speed and direction) without going back to input in the phone app?
Thanks for the question, either you can change it manually or once you download and link Basemap, it should update on its own.

So it means it will use the base map ( through net) to download the wind data’s or enter manually if you have data’s . So it’s very helpful equipment I will have one to try it.

Que tal amigo? Ya intentó a bajar la aplicación en Android o Apple? Hay otra aplicación que puede intentar, se llama OnX, pero no creo que se conecte con el BDX. Espero que en algo le ayude.
Right friend, I don't understand, please make a clip and explain how we should do rotation rate or twist rate with BDX.
Twist rate only make a difference on slug/pellet rotation speed, it does not make a difference on the point of impact. For example, my barrel liner is a 1:24 twist rate and I did not input that information on the BDX because it doesn't ask for it. I just match where I hit the target to the BDX, if it doesn't match, change only the ballistic coefficient to match the right point of impact. Sorry but I have no other way to explain.
Which kilo models connect to weathermeter or kestrel device?
I have only used the Kilo1000BDX and haven't used any other one, but you can go on Sigsauer.com and check with one connects to those devices.

Ok, let me get this straight, you have a Helix scope in milliradians but not a camera? You can adjust the Kilo1000BDX on meters and milliradians as shown on the video, but you cannot connect it to the strelok. Strelok is a different application you need to add the pellet/slug speed (fps), the Ballistic coefficient, and the rest of the parameters from strelok to put it on your BDX app to be able to achieve the right point of impact. And the windmeter tells you the moment you are there by your location. Let me know if this helps, otherwise, I wish I can help on another way. I appreciate you 🙏

As long as you set it on meters and milliradians, the range finder will automatically tell you how much adjust the turret to. 👍🏼

El Basemap solo es necesario para que le de la temperatura, la elevación y la velocidad del viento actual, pero se pueden cambiar manualmente 👍🏼

It's not really necessary, it only helps with the elevation, wind speed and direction and temperature. But as I mentioned, just get yourself an anemometer for the wind and input it manually on the app and you are good to go 👍🏼

Yes it does, as long as it has the Applied Ballistics Ultralight (ABU) so it will connect to the Ballistics Data Xchange (BDX) on the range finder. I hope this helps.

You can change the information to match your pellet/slug weight, BC, and velocity/fps and then make sure to save the profile. I'm sure the 1600 is the same, haven't used one before 🤔
